We chose bistecca la fiorentina from their menu and I must say it was delicious, as were the rosemary potatoes that accompanied the meat. The service was excellent. The tiramisu truly deserved the acclaim it received a couple of years ago.

Seriously do not understand how this place does not have a 5⭐️ rating. I had scampi risotto and it was out of this world. Imagine home made food refined to a level of perfection. Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and mostly Italian visitors. Cannot recommend it enough, thank you to the whole staff ❤️❤️❤️

The tiramisu alone is worth the trip. Best one we had in Florence and we have tried a few. But everything leading up to it was just as good. The steak was flavorful and perfectly prepared, the kind of dish that makes you realize how low the bar has been set elsewhere. The salad was dead simple and somehow still delicious. Skip the house wine and ask for a recommendation instead and you won’t regret it. It’s a 10-15 minute walk from the main tourist areas, and the dining room shows it: mostly locals, zero pretense. This is the kind of place you come to Florence hoping to stumble into. Don’t stumble; look it up and go on purpose.

The food was average for Florentine fare, but my eggplant tart was completely undercooked, and the liver bruschetta was tasty but the bread was soggy. The prices were for the overpriced food and the house wine was mediocre. An experience not to be repeated.

We celebrated our 4th anniversary here and were very satisfied. The atmosphere is rustic yet romantic, like dining under the stars. The meat was fabulous, as was the attentive and playful service, which created a fun and authentic atmosphere. We loved this restaurant and will be back very soon.

We were very impressed with our dining experience at this restaurants. We travelled to Florence from another Tuscan town just to dine here and we are glad that we did. The dishes served by Chef Francesco were cooked to perfection and the service provided by Bobo impeccable. Will be back with friends to try more items on the menu.

04/04/2026: We thought a T-bone wouldn't be enough for four people, so we ordered a ribeye, pasta, fries, and salad, which was just the right amount for four. As expected, the T-bone was better than the ribeye. The ribeye was all my husband and me (sob). At this restaurant, if you use the 'Abe' menu—which starts with 'The,' goes 'Po' in the middle, and ends with 'Keu'—you can save about 20 cents.

You can eat there if you're passing by, but don't make a special trip just to eat there. The steak itself wasn't too tender, and it had a beef flavor, but it wasn't smooth enough.
