Located in one of Florence's most beautiful and underrated squares, this is a traditional Florentine restaurant. It offers an excellent selection of dishes, moderate prices, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The interior is beautifully retro. Highly recommended.

Due to the rain, we unexpectedly ended up in this lovely restaurant after lunch. The staff saved us from walking around the city in the rain, even though we couldn't eat. We warmed up with tea and amaro. The ambiance is one of the most beautiful in Florence and we will definitely go back to eat there at the first opportunity because everything looked delicious. Thanks again to the staff.

It was truly a pleasant discovery. Far from the tourist hustle and bustle, yet still in the center of Florence. The staff, dressed in distinctive attire, are welcoming and helpful. The interior is truly charming. The food is excellent and good value. I recommend the tagliolini with truffle, the pici with meat sauce, and the fillet with truffle. If I could offer any advice, I'd just try to be a little more careful about the cleanliness of the spaces and especially the children's service. When they brought our baby's car seat, it was completely dirty and we had to sanitize it ourselves, as were the cutlery and plastic plate they provide for children. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent food
Unfortunately, the service was excessively slow despite the numerous professional and prompt waitresses. The atmosphere is 3 stars because it was incredibly crowded and the seating was very limited. I was sitting near three steps and was on one side of a narrow corridor whose other side was a corner. So, to avoid bumping into the corner, the waiters promptly bumped into me almost every time they passed! An unpleasant experience.

I returned to Trattoria Napoleone after some time and found the same delightful atmosphere I remembered so well. A historic, beautiful, and tastefully decorated restaurant, run by friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent service, and above all... the food is divine! Everything was excellent, from appetizers to dessert, and the wine list is excellent and top-notch.
Thanks Rosy and Francesco, we'll be back!
