27/03/2025: boss let us try flavors before buying, was super friendly to us and was patient with our poor attempts at speaking italian 😅 the lady is so sweet 🥲❤️ they have exotic flavors here, passionfruit, figs, durian, that you can't get at other gelato places. 10/10 so grateful i found the spot :))

14/04/2025: Cozy and characteristic tavern, a stone's throw from the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella. The staff are so friendly and nice that they make you feel at home straight away. Exceptional food: from the pappardelle to the Fiorentina nana ragù, passing through the Peposo (I regret not having had more) and the chocolate cake. Don't miss the 100 house herb bitters to end on a high note. All at a more than reasonable price for the quantity and quality of the food, as well as the impeccable hospitality. Highly recommended!

12/04/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at I’Brindellone in Florence, and it was truly unforgettable. Located in a charming, non-touristy area, this trattoria offers an authentic Tuscan experience. The truffle pasta was exquisite, with generous shavings of fresh truffles that elevated the dish to perfection. The house wine, served in a traditional fiasco, was surprisingly delicious and incredibly affordable. The Bistecca alla Fiorentina had a rich, smoky flavor that complemented the meal beautifully (be warned the steak is cooked the Fiorentina way so that means almost raw). The service was warm and attentive, making us feel like locals rather than tourists. Reservations are a must, as this gem is always packed. Highly recommended for anyone seeking genuine Tuscan cuisine in a lively, local setting.

11/04/2025: You should absolutely try the Florentine steak. The service was amazing, the food really good. One tip if you are trying to visit: be on time. They are so good that they are full in no time. This serves as a testament to how good the food is. We even got a complimentary drink to finish our amazing night. 10/10 would recommend!

15/02/2025: I used Caroti Sgrilli to organize my graduation party. They prepared paella, polenta, mixed appetizers and dessert for me. Mrs. Olivia, very kind, gave me excellent advice and the dishes were delicious and beautiful. I will definitely use them again for my next party!

17/03/2025: Small but welcoming place, the friendly owner is very careful to recommend and explain the variations of the fillings of the large-sized Abruzzo potatoes cooked in the oven which are the protagonists of all the dishes. Platter of Cinta cured meats, raw sausage and pecorino cheese accompanied by very good Schiacciata. The potato with quail eggs and truffle sauce was good, the one with peposo was very tasty, I also tried the stracchino and cinta sausage, bacon and cheddar ones and with the fassona tartarre. There is practically something for all tastes. The quality of the ingredients is high.

03/03/2025: The location is small but welcome, the service is present and good at explaining the dishes and the menu. The main course is very large Abruzzo potatoes cooked in the oven served with excellent quality meat, cured meats and even fish (you can see that there is a search for the product). The platter with Cinta cured meats is also excellent.

09/04/2025: A Truly Special Dinner in the Heart of Chianti We had such an amazing experience at this restaurant—easily the best dinner we've had in Italy so far. The setting is beautiful, with a cozy, rustic vibe and a terrace that looks out over the Chianti hills. Even though we showed up about 30 minutes before closing and the place was clearly busy with reservations, the owner still found a way to seat us. You could tell how much he cares about his restaurant and the food he serves—he didn’t rush us at all, and he made us feel genuinely welcome. That kind of hospitality really stuck with us. The food was just incredible. We started with a board of delicate cured meats and cheeses that paired perfectly with a glass of local red wine. The lardo was especially memorable—thin, buttery, and topped with rosemary and spices. And the pasta? Absolutely delicious. Rich, hearty sauce with super tender meat on top—it was comfort food at its finest, but with a lot of care and flavor behind it. This place really has something special. Great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and an owner who truly pours his heart into what he does. If you're in the area, don’t miss it.

03/03/2025: To celebrate my birthday this year, my mother decided to rely on this pastry shop, ordering two cakes, one better than the other. The cakes were FABULOUS and were enjoyed by everyone! The first cake was a Millefeuille (my favorite cake), which really amazed me both with its beauty and its taste: it was simply perfect. The second cake was a Red Velvet and, again, everything was done to perfection. It's been a long time since I had a Red Velvet that I really liked; every time I tasted it it didn't fully convince me and I was always looking for one that fully satisfied me. Now I can say that I finally found it. All my guests were pleasantly surprised and I can say that these cakes made my birthday truly wonderful and special. I didn't know this pastry shop before, but from now on I will definitely rely on them when I need a cake. The staff, according to my mother who ordered the cakes, was really helpful, kind and very attentive to her requests. Even regarding the prices, she was more than satisfied. If you are looking for a beautiful and delicious cake for any event, this is the right pastry shop!
