03/10/2025: Sitting at the outdoor tables, in a setting that combines Florentine liveliness with the warmth of an authentic welcome, we had the privilege of tasting one of the most iconic dishes of Tuscan tradition: ampredotto. The dish presents itself in all its essence: a rich, velvety broth, perfumed by a slow cooking process that releases the depth of the tomato and the tenderness of the meat. Each bite encapsulates the history of Florence, with a surprisingly delicate texture and a full, intense flavor that harmonizes perfectly with the simple bread served as a side dish. This is a cuisine that seeks no frills, but expresses truth and roots. The service deserves special praise: fast, precise, and at the same time attentive to detail. The staff's helpfulness is perceived not as a duty, but as a natural extension of their hospitality. There is politeness, courtesy, and above all, friendliness, that human element that makes lunch not just a meal, but a shared experience. 20/09/2025: Invited by my friends to a restaurant in Florence 🇮🇹, I had the chance to enjoy authentic and refined cuisine. For the starter, delicious fresh mushrooms topped with generous shavings of cheese and a drizzle of olive oil 🍄🧀. For the main course, the Florentine specialty: tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked meat, accompanied by grilled vegetables and mushrooms 🥩🍋. A truly enjoyable and convivial experience, thank you to my friends for this wonderful culinary discovery ❤️.

21/09/2025: Excellent wines. They have a varied and quality selection of natural wines. You can listen to good music. But above all, I appreciated the service because they really took my wife's breath away, making her sigh for over an hour over a small plate of olives, and then bringing it to her when she'd finished her wine. 07/09/2025: Delicious artisanal ice cream, creamy, and affordable (€3.50 for a "normal" three-flavor cone, which is actually huge). The wafer inside the cone is also delicious. Well done!

12/06/2025: After coming here two days ago following glowing reviews, it seems only fair to tone things down. The 5-course meal at €70 (€74 actually with cutlery, as is often the case in Italy) and the wine pairing at €45 (5 glasses of 7 or 8 cl maximum) is not good value for money. Only the second starter was very good; the rest was good but not great. The dessert was very disappointing. Two wines were very good; the others were mediocre. It's a far cry from the level of a Michelin-starred restaurant, even though the price isn't cheap at all (€248 for two with water).

11/06/2025: A well-kept, pleasant and welcoming place. A professional and efficient service. Menu changed periodically. Appetizing and healthy dishes from raw materials at almost zero kilometers. The tarte tatin is simply perfect in the presentation and is truly excellent. Excellent wine list and above all I want to thank the smiling, passionate and competent maitre. Prices balanced with the type of place and the level of quality of the dishes on the menu.

13/10/2025: It was delicious, but it's such a huge sandwich that one person can't possibly finish it. People at the cash register should be warned. But it's worth the price; we waited in line for so long. Because of the size of the sandwich, we couldn't try anything else; we ended up sleeping everywhere.

29/09/2025: A modest exterior, but the kitchen is the shop window. Run by Laura and Lucia, who greeted me with a warm “prego”, it felt the right place to begin my first Florence meal in years. Tagliolini al tartufo was their unhesitating recommendation: pasta cut and cooked perfectly, the sauce buttery and fragrant with truffles – 9.5/10. Lampredotto followed: Florence’s tripe dish, born of cucina povera. Robust, slightly heavy on seasoning, but balanced by unsalted bread and a bright salsa verde. Authentic cooking with real heart.

05/10/2025: Highly recommended restaurant. Refined hospitality with a vin d'honneur to accompany the short wait. The chef and assistant chefs were extremely efficient and interchangeable, both in the open kitchen and at the grill. I can confirm that I ate the most delicious Florentine steak of my life. The dishes were presented with great care. The waiters were attentive, helpful, and friendly. The owners were very affable and refined. I will gladly return to try other dishes.

03/10/2025: We ate at Agricola Toscana both nights that we were in Florence because after the wonderful experience the first night, we just had to go back. The food was fantastic. The first night we had Steak Tartar with Baratta and Truffles, Pappardelle al Cinghiale (Pappardelle with marinated Boars meat), and Sirloin Steak. The second night we had Filleto alla Griglia and Spaghetti alla Carbonara Tartufata. The atmosphere was casual and cozy. The service was incredible. Rifat was our waiter and he did an amazing job helping us navigate the menu despite my attempts at speaking Italian with his command of English and his humor. Adrianna (the manager) was very present and made sure everyone in the restaurant was well taken care of. On our second night we met Samaria, the owner's wife, and in her passion for the restaurant and providing hospitality to all guests was very evident. This will absolutely be in our next Florence itinerary!

09/09/2025: I barely stepped inside the restaurant when the manager looked at me, and I felt like he was judging me by my appearance. It's worth noting that I didn't wear shorts or a T-shirt like other tourists in formal attire. But he refused me a table for one person, which he said was full. I went because the owner of La Giostra restaurant recommended the place to me for the food. But given the staff's terrible service, it's a good thing I didn't stay there.

14/09/2025: We celebrated our wedding at Battibecco Restaurant and couldn't have made a better choice! Our day was meticulously planned down to the smallest detail, and all our guests complimented us on the organization and the excellent food. ❤️ It was truly a dream come true, made possible only thanks to the incredible professionalism of Fiorella, Lisa, Federico, and the entire staff! Even in the months leading up to the wedding, Lisa and Fiorella proved to be extremely helpful and professional, accommodating our every request and finding solutions for any unexpected event! For us, who as a couple aren't super-organizers, relying on a team that had a plan A, B, and C in place and was prepared for any weather eventuality was crucial! What else can we say? The Battibecco spaces are stunning, the grounds magnificent, and the food superb. ❤️❤️ One last thing! We toured several venues and restaurants before choosing Battibecco, and we can honestly say that the price for their services is absolutely fair for the final result and much more affordable than many other venues that quoted us crazy prices for what they offered. Oh! They also serve as a town hall, and we held the civil ceremony directly there! The super Fiorella also supported us with all the administrative work with the Impruneta municipality! I hope this review will be helpful for all future expenses, and thanks again to Battibecco for the magic they gave us ❤️❤️

10/09/2025: We had one of the most incredible dinners of our entire trip!! The server was thoughtful and humorous. The food was memorable. We had the filet, ravioli, orecchiette, falafel, fried zucchini, and potatoes. We continued to ooh and ahh over every item. Our incredible server brought it all together in a warm and fun experience!
