12/06/2025: I saw it on the way to Florence Cathedral from my accommodation, so I ordered it for takeout. It was my first time eating canelé, but it was delicious, and the staff was so, so kind. I think I will remember it a lot.

10/06/2025: Real Austrian patisserie and bakery heritage in Florence. Bread is made from imported Austrian flour and the rest of the cakes, croissants. Everything is very tasty and fresh, and feels like in Vienna. Coffee lovers will find here Julius Meinl Austrian coffee maker. Quite surprising in Florence but definitely worth to visit and taste.

19/05/2025: Lovely little wine bar away from the touristy areas. It's unique to dine on a Singer table (formerly a sewing machine)! Pleasant drinks. Good earthy wines that could use a bit more spice, in my opinion, to bring out the flavors. A great experience, thank you!

22/05/2025: Absolutely unbelievable gelato. Was a line but only took 5 minutes and was certainly worth the wait. Just $2.50 for a wafer cone and it was big! Had coconut and chocolate hazelnut both yummy. Daughter had pistachio and coffee also both delicious. Certainly will be hard to top this gelato in my life!

19/05/2025: I hesitated to write a review for this restaurant. The reason is that I firmly believe that it is a place loved by the locals. If the kind service and excellent quality of food we experienced here were to spread, tourists would flock here like a rugby scrum. And that could deprive the locals of a precious corner of tranquility, which makes me hesitate. However, I cannot suppress the desire to express my gratitude to the owners and so I leave this review. As for the rating of the place, as many say, if I could give 10 stars, I would. If I were a Michelin inspector, I would give three stars without hesitation. My experience here was so amazing. The quality of the ingredients and the preparation of each dish are impeccable. The salad is surprisingly fresh, so much so that it even seems to have beneficial properties for digestion. At first bite, my gut flora began to clamor for more, triggering an incredible craving. The zuppa toscana is sublime. I know it may seem strange, but the moment I tasted the zuppa, I was reminded of the days when I would come home from college and my mother would lovingly prepare my favorite dishes. It was as if I was enjoying a dish that had always been dear to me, cooked with love, as if I were a son welcomed back home. The steak is the best in the world. I have been fortunate enough to taste various types of high-quality meat, including the best Japanese wagyu, but there is no doubt: the steak at this restaurant is unmatched. The cooking is exactly how I had always dreamed it would be, and the seasoning, while simple, is the pure essence of umami. During our stay in Florence, we dined here two out of three times. Last time we went to Zaza, which should give you an idea of ​​how fascinated we were by this place. I had always proudly believed that Tokyo was the world capital of gastronomy, but now, after tasting the dishes of this restaurant, I fear that I am condemned to wander around Japan like a Tuscan zombie, desperately searching for these flavors. I don't know when, but I sincerely hope that this place will continue to be the same, in the same place, with the same incredible quality. I wish the owners a long and healthy life, although, considering how healthy their cuisine is, they probably won't need such a wish.

18/05/2025: Did not have a reservation but they fit our group of 4 in straight away. From our seats we could see into the kitchen and the entire family preparing every dish. Everything we had was excellent and Got a small history of the place and the family and we would definately return. Worth the short walk from the tourist city center!

24/04/2025: Fantastic service at John Borno Cafe! Great coffee and fresh juices. They (Shirin and Danielle) went above and beyond by letting me use their phone to call a local garage when I couldn't make a call myself. Highly recommend!

07/06/2025: What can I say, simply divine. All the fantastic staff, both friends Roberto and Antonio serving and Gianluca and Enzo in the kitchen. We ate a very tender steak that melted in the mouth with a sublime flavour. Excellent quality of meat and perfect cooking. Our friends from Como were thrilled with the entire service. A culinary experience to be repeated. I recommend it to all meat lovers.

26/05/2025: The tast of the bistecca alla fiorentina with special olive oil was amazing. We had the opprtunity to sit outside on the small terasse. We will defenitly come back in the future. Thank you for the very good dinner.

18/05/2025: The place is very nice, with its own terrace. The steak was cooked to perfection, also the gnocchi ai quattro formaggi were very good. Great prices and attentive and friendly owners.

11/06/2025: I am from Florida USA and had the pleasure of walking into this restaurant and I will say it was the best steak I have ever eaten in my life. I typically eat 1 to 2 steaks a day because of the type of diet plan I enjoy so I would like to think I have an idea of what good steak tastes like. Portions were massive, service was exceptional and atmosphere fun! If you are in Florence and want an authentic Italian steak and dinner experience you HAVE TOO stop in here. They also make there pasta in house which my wife was blown away with what she ordered. If I could give 6 stars I would
