24/09/2025: We returned to Marina di Santo Spirito for a family dinner and were once again thrilled. The seafood tasting menu was simply excellent, with carefully prepared dishes of the highest quality. But what made this experience truly special was the service: the owner was exceptionally kind and attentive. Our 5-year-old daughter ate a delicious plate of spaghetti with clams, which we weren't even charged for, and at the end of the evening, he made her smile by giving her a bag full of gummy bears. As if that weren't enough, we received an additional discount and a bottle of Franciacorta as a gift for the arrival of our second child. A touching gesture that we'll never forget. We've been several times before and always had a wonderful time, but this time, Marina di Santo Spirito truly exceeded all expectations. A restaurant that combines culinary excellence and rare humanity: highly recommended!

02/11/2025: High-quality schiacciate! You can go there without hesitation. We had two schiacciate fiorentina and one with Nutella, and they were absolutely delicious! The price was more than fair, considering the generous portions! We'll definitely be back! Grazieeee 🫶🏼

02/11/2025: You go in, order at the cashier and pay and they give you a number. You wait outside til your number is called. All in all, around 6 minutes. But it was at 4pm. The queue was long during lunch. The bread is cruchy, light, not oily like I thought, the contents were generously piled inside and very very fresh. Having a short line has its own flavor too 😉 We took it out and ate it in our bnb. Even cold, it was still very very good.

The decor, music, and service are excellent. The food is spectacular and incredibly creative. We enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the dessert. 100% recommended.

15/11/2025: Cutest cafe, bakery and coffee shop in Florence. We tried the chocolate chip cookies, the babka, cinnamon bun and hash brown - highly recommend them all! Will be back tomorrow! The coffee is also the best we have had in Florence

15/11/2025: Probably one of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had. I don’t feel the need pile on the many positive reviews of the cinnamon bun - it’s amazing, but those cookies are something else.

31/10/2025: Amazing family-run spot near Piazza Pitti! Delicious panini and lasagna, super friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return to beautiful Firenze.

28/10/2025: Lovely family-run restaurant! Had my first lampredotto sandwich here and it was great! The tiramisu is not conventional (as in not many layers) but to die for. Everything is made in house by the mamma, and I had the pleasure of being served by her son who was also very lovely. Would definitely come back again, grazie mille!

29/09/2025: A truly exceptional lunch, the best Florentine steak I've ever had, served with fresh sautéed porcini mushrooms. An excellent Chianti to finish, and a grand finale with homemade desserts. Spectacular.
