23/10/2025: Wow, what a lovely lunch in Florence. We stumbled upon this place before our visit to the Uffizi and it was perfect. The service was impeccable and the staff incredibly kind. Not to mention, most important of all, the food was to die for. We shared the Strocci with tomato & basil, and the potato ravioli with the meat sauce. Wine was lovely. Everything 10/10.

11/11/2025: If you like beef you have to try the Ossobuco alla Fiorentina, the beef was so tender, the sauce flavour it’s delicious and the potatoes very good cooked, also we tried the ravioli, very creamy and overall very good flavours, the place is cozy and not that busy at least on the time we were there November/Monday. The price is pretty decent for the tasty food you get and the service was very fast.

10/11/2025: We had lunch at this trattoria on Sunday, without a reservation, and they told us they'd found a table. It's a family-run restaurant where both the dining room and kitchen are staffed by young, talented people. The dishes are traditional Tuscan, delicious, and plentiful. The fresh pasta is clearly homemade. The cantuccini are fabulous! In a deserted Scarperia, and without understanding why it was listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy, eating at Il Torrione alone is worth the trip. Well done, keep up the good work!

10/11/2025: Everything was simply delicious! This restaurant was a fantastic discovery! Every dish was carefully crafted, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. From appetizers to desserts, everything was truly delicious. The staff is friendly, smiling, and always available, and the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. You can tell there's passion in the kitchen and a desire to make their customers feel good. The prices are fair for the quality offered. 12/10/2025: My second visit to Florence. The gelato was the most delicious. Figs, fig gelato, and fig japchae!! The owner was so friendly.

03/11/2025: We arrived late after a rainy day in Lucca. We first went to another restaurant that announced its kitchen was closing almost in front of us, then we went to this trattoria. This is how I choose places to eat: by the lighting and the decor. I've almost never made a mistake, and certainly not this time! A large platter of cured meats and cheeses, 2 tagliata with arugula and parmesan, 2 plain spinach platters, 1 tiramisu, and 1 cheesecake. My daughter had a hard time finishing them... the portions were considerable and the meat was tender. The atmosphere and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The owner was friendly and very kind.

09/11/2025: They have a wide selection of platters, both cheese and cured meats. Their soup with farro, beans, and sausage is delicious. The atmosphere is a bit rustic; the dining room is downstairs and feels like a cave. The prices are very fair.

05/11/2025: We really enjoyed it. The woman who served us answered us in Spanish, which is unusual since most places only respond in English. The food was excellent. We liked the relaxed atmosphere; although there were other people, it wasn't very noisy. We will definitely return.

08/10/2025: Very friendly waitress who is trying to learn French and speaks English well. Many people come to pick up takeout. There were 2 of us eating there. Be careful when it says spicy, it really is spicy. Very good Indian food.

31/10/2025: The service staff and pizza chef were friendly and helpful. The pizza was delicious: I found the dough to be better than the last time I had it in March (which was already good): light and easy to digest.

16/11/2025: I stopped by on my last day in Florence because I had a little time before my train. Not only was the conversation between the owner and his wife charming, but the cake, chocolate, and cappuccino were all excellent. The tiramisu was especially delicious. It had a rich flavor. I highly recommend it.

14/11/2025: Good café! We went here really early and enjoyed some delicious pastries quickly — the coffee was great too! The service was friendly and nice.

17/10/2025: I highly recommend it. The fried Florentine steak is delicious and unique. The staff is very kind and friendly. The desserts are top notch.

07/10/2025: I made a reservation through Instagram DM. They said T-bones start at 1.3 kilos, so we both ordered a 1 kilo of the L-bone. The steak was absolutely delicious. I can't stop thinking about it. And the fries were absolutely delicious. A half-liter of house wine was perfect for two. This was the most memorable restaurant of my trip.

07/10/2025: What's the deal...? The photos turned out great. I made a reservation, so I went right in without waiting. The data connection is low, so search for the menu before you go in~ The meat was really tender. I ordered a bottle of house wine. The wine I bought at the supermarket was delicious. ^^

05/11/2025: Extremely perfect and unquestionably professional despite our gluten-free problem...the cuisine was top-notch and we will be back very soon to try other dishes.

17/11/2025: We’ve eaten at Ristorante Mastro Ciliegia multiple times over the years, and it has never let us down. The pizzas are phenomenal, the calzones are big enough to require a support group, but the real magic is in the primi and secondi. The risotto with asparagus is always spot-on, the peposo with whipped potatoes is pure comfort, and the true showstopper is the deceptively simple spaghetti alla carrettiera—absolute perfection on a plate. Desserts? Also fantastic. Service is warm, genuine, and exactly what you want. And the pricing is beyond reasonable for the quality. In short: consistently excellent food, honest hospitality, and a menu that keeps pulling us back year after year. Highly recommend.
