06/04/2026: We were on our way to Bergamo, we decided to take the highway for lunch, we looked online and headed here... amazing food, super friendly and kind staff, I've never eaten a tagliata like this, I wanted to cry!!!! I wanted to leave a €20 tip, but the waitress changed it and only took €10... what a shame, it would have been well deserved, it's hard to find staff like that!! I'll definitely be back, thanks.

06/04/2026: We stopped for lunch after several years, returning from Venice and as usual we did the right thing!!! The superlative food, the very kind staff and the very fast service, practically everything TOP!!!! We will definitely be back and we highly recommend it!!!!!

03/10/2025: I booked an event dinner with 1 year advance notice and lots of communication as well as advance payment to have the table set with appatizers and drinks upon arrival. We ariived to have to wait for our table and then they had put our table split into two tables and in the corner not where we had discussed. Food was served so slowly and one table was finished where the second table was waiting over an hour for main dishs. The celebration I had worked do hard to plan was a disaster. DO NOT PLAN for a group and expect the plans to be honored. I will never return.

03/10/2025: We spent a perfect evening here. The food was cooked just right. We ordered the fish tartare, shrimp pasta, fish fillet with fried potatoes, and tiramisu. Everything was prepared beautifully. The restaurant is located on the rooftop (5th floor) of the hotel, offering an unobstructed view of Palazzo Vecchio in Piazza della Signoria. The atmosphere is young, lively, and trendy, with a DJ playing urban/tech music, it’s the perfect spot to watch the sunset. The service was outstanding! At the front desk, we were warmly welcomed by a very friendly lady with dark curly hair. Once upstairs, every staff member was both professional and kind. They even treated us to a few shots to celebrate our first visit to Florence. Truly an unforgettable experience! We will be back❤️

29/04/2026: I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I was extremely disappointed by my experience at Culinaria, despite its excellent ratings: the octopus dish served was different from the one listed on the menu (sweet potato instead of the advertised spinach and stracciatella; no change of dish or price reduction was offered afterward), dishes we hadn't ordered were added to the bill, and when we pointed this out, we only received a partial refund. The wine was also charged at a higher price than indicated on the menu board. In short, we were disappointed by the food, felt cheated, and experienced a rather dishonest atmosphere. It's a shame.

03/05/2026: Highly recommend this restaurant! The service was excellent, and the whole experience felt warm and welcoming. We started with the pear, burrata, and walnut appetizer — the touch of honey made it absolutely delicious. For mains, the pici with wild boar and the beef fillet were both very good. But the standout dish was definitely the tortello with truffle — superb and a must-try! A special mention to Michele, who recommended the tortello and provided fantastic service throughout the meal. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable!

08/04/2026: I'll start by saying that the service wasn't the fastest: the restaurant is very intimate and well-kept, the menu is well thought out, there are about 5 dishes to choose from for each category (starters, first courses, second courses, desserts), the raw materials are unquestionably high quality, the service was very friendly even if, as I said, it wasn't the fastest. I ordered the tuna tataki (very good) and the beer-braised cheek, and as a side, the patatas bravas (all excellent). For dessert, a truly special cheesecake—I'd never eaten one so "tortosa"—and the coffee was also excellent... for two, we ordered: 2 starters, 2 second courses, two glasses of wine, 1 dessert, and a coffee. Spending 103 euros isn't cheap, but it was truly well spent. The best restaurant in the area for flavors and truly high-level execution, highly recommended.

14/04/2026: Having been in Italy for several days, and after thoroughly enjoying Italian food, I craved something familiar. Walking through Florence, I stumbled upon this restaurant offering Mexican dishes, which immediately caught my eye, especially given the numerous references to Mexico and Tijuana, my hometown. The place is eye-catching and has a great atmosphere; everything screams Mexico, creating high expectations from the start. I decided to go in with my family and order several dishes I know well, such as queso fundido, nachos, and tacos. From the outset, the food experience was disappointing. The queso fundido lacked consistency and didn't taste right. The nachos were poorly made, with mismatched ingredients and an inappropriate type of cheese. But the most critical issue was the tacos. The tortillas were cold, a basic mistake. I mentioned this to the staff, hoping they would remake them properly. However, the dish returned far too quickly, and upon tasting it, the texture of the ingredients had completely changed. The guacamole, in particular, had clearly been reheated, something that happens when it's microwaved or oven-baked, which completely ruins this type of preparation. This ultimately spoiled the entire experience, because a taco depends on the right temperature and fresh ingredients, not reheated ones. I understand that Mexican food outside of Mexico can be adapted, but here the problem isn't the adaptation, but rather the very poor execution. Furthermore, I believe the restaurant's advertising is misleading, as they project a very strong image of authentic Mexican food, when in reality the dishes don't even come close to what Mexican food truly is. As a Mexican, and specifically from Tijuana, I can say that this does not represent our cuisine. Personally, I don't recommend it if you're looking for real or well-prepared Mexican food.

04/05/2026: Our tour guide sent us here after we asked for recommendations. They must have a partnership going on because this was a very average experience. It was my wife’s birthday and the food was a bit disappointing unfortunately. The staff were very friendly though.

01/02/2026: A truly spectacular restaurant in the heart of the historic center. Attention to detail and expertly prepared dishes. The crostoni with chicken livers and the first courses were excellent. Tagliatelle with wild boar ragù was delicious. The beef fillet was spectacular and cooked to perfection. Caterina in the dining room is the jewel in the crown. Friendly, very knowledgeable, fast, and truly charming. Kudos also to Daniele, who runs the restaurant with professionalism. Thank you all so much. We'll be back soon...

27/10/2025: This place is truly wonderful, I was there for lunch and I was happy and satisfied with every aspect, the view is spectacular, the food was delicious 10/10 I complimented the chef, my partner tried the suckling pig and was really impressed he said he had never eaten it so good before, I had the beef fillet with truffle, the quality was excellent, I also appreciated the service, they were very kind and fast, I highly recommend this place it does not disappoint expectations.... we will definitely be back!!!!!!
