15/03/2025: Lungarno 23 is always a certainty! Every time we are in Florence we go to this original place where Chianina meat reigns supreme and the rest of the menu is also noteworthy. As a backdrop, a kind, warm and friendly staff makes you feel at home. Well done...and see you next time!

14/03/2025: I found the lasagna with white ragù good, although not exceptional. As for the dishes, I chose livers in the net, which were excellent, like I hadn't eaten in years, thanks to an unmistakably slow cooking. The roast potatoes on the side were also good, cooked to perfection. The final dessert didn't thrill me. The house wine in bulk was good. I will definitely return. I don't know the cost because I was a guest of friends.

21/02/2025: Refined environment, few tables close together but not uncomfortable. Impeccable service with the right timing and very empathetic. Tasted bruschetta with black cabbage and Chianti sausage and tuna. House wine in a top bottle Come back soon to try the desserts. Top. I recommend... open on Sundays too!

13/03/2025: Be sure to order their specialty lasagna. The Italian salad is the hidden specialty of this restaurant. The salami and cheese platter was also very filling and satisfying.

08/03/2025: I was just here (March 2025) and definitely not worth a five star rating as many have previously given. Starter of sausage cheese and salad pretty plain. Beef stew contained many pepper corns and was served with roasted potatoes also pretty plain. Had better food at all the other restaurants I went too this week - this felt like a bit of a letdown compared to the high standards of food for Florence.

23/03/2025: A fantastic meal! One of the best steaks I've ever had. Wonderful creamy pasta. It's a shame I was too full to eat desert.

18/03/2025: Non è la prima volta che siamo andati a cena dal ristorante Adriano e come sempre non delude mai! Il proprietario è lo staff sono super cortesi e professionali, l’ambiente racconta una storia e rilascia un aria di relax e accoglienza. Il cibo è ottimo, non c’è serata dove ci siano stati errori su ordini/uscite o qualità. I piatti sono anche delle belle porzioni abbondanti e il rapporto prezzo/qualità supera altamente le aspettative. Al menu integrano sempre piatti della stagione, quindi ogni estate, inverno, primavera, autunno troverai varianti uniche per soddisfare il tuo palato. Non ho altro che da fare complimenti a questo luogo e alle persone che contribuiscono a renderlo sicuramente il posto migliore della zona!

07/03/2025: I was wandering around and found this place by chance. The quality of the seafood used for the sushi was quite good. I had the scampi, arctic clam and tuna. The serving sizes are on the smaller side though. I also had the tempura udon. The tempura was fried well and the broth of the udon was also good. This place seems like authentic Japanese cuisine to me.

30/03/2025: Decent and tasty Chinese food. We had wonton soup, skewers, spicy beef noodles and stir fry prawns. The prawns were the most legit tasting. Recommended if you are looking for Chinese food options!

29/03/2025: I'm not Chinese, but I like it a lot. They have a cuisine that you can't find in other places. The guy who served us speaks good Italian and explains everything, very kind and nice. I recommend it

13/03/2025: Good food but service leaves something to be desired. If the kitchen closes at 10pm, don't take reservations at 9pm... Italians stay at the table, it's not nice to have your plate taken away from under your nose at the last bite. For tourists, it's ok.

14/02/2025: Siamo stati da Godipopolo due giorni fa per la prima volta. La pizza è ottima, la proprietaria indiana (credo) ha un sorriso meraviglioso e accogliente, il locale è piccolo con solo 3 tavoli e con una bella atmosfera allegra. All'esterno c'è un bel pergolato, dove secondo me d'estate ci si deve stare proprio bene. Se cercate un luogo molto semplice, con una accoglienza allegra, in un' atmosfera molto piacevole, con un'ottima pizza, questo è il posto giusto. Ci siamo trasferiti in questa zona da poco tempo, ci torneremo di sicuro. Il venerdì sera c'è il piatto Fantasia indiana. Lo proveremo. L'impasto della pizza in questa zona è diverso da quello tradizionale, è vero, e noi lo troviamo molto buono. Grazie per l'accoglienza! A presto! Silvia e Paolo

03/02/2025: Very small fun family run and owned restaurant. Usually, locals have reservations, but of course, we Americans didn't think of that. The owner allowed us to stay and was hands down, the kindest business we encountered in Italy. Delicious food and wine flowed with a big huge smile. Loved this place, the food, the owner/chef/family.

25/02/2025: Amaaaaazing food that you don’t see everywhere, the vegetarian dishes really stand out and out of the box. Sea bass was one of the best. The staff are friendly, very attentive and professional. We had a great experience. I strongly recommend. The restaurant is very strong. Strange and delicious dishes, not the same as the usual dishes you can find in any Italian restaurant. Most of our dishes are vegetarian and one sea bass dish. Each dish was sweeter than the last. Stuff is grains and delicious. I highly recommend it.

21/02/2025: A magnificent place, from the staff in the room to the great care of the customers. We stopped there for the “Bistecca alla Fiorentina”, it’s the best piece of meat I’ve eaten in my life!
