09/03/2026: I've loved these guys for years now; I've watched them grow and get what they deserve! I swear by the hospitality, the food, and the friendliness!! The best dish in the world: tortelli! They're no slouch either with the carbonara... I hope they continue to grow... beautiful and talented! I highly recommend them; I adore you guys! ❤️

05/04/2026: Be patient. The atmosphere is very nice, bright, and welcoming. The dishes are carefully prepared and beautifully presented. But I didn't understand the menu: macrobiotic, vegan cuisine...but then there are many fish dishes. The service was disappointing. There was a long wait for the order to arrive, with no respect for the order of other customers. The dishes we ordered arrived in disarray (I got mine after everyone else at my table had already finished). We couldn't get coffee because it ran out (!!!).

02/04/2026: We ate "tagliatelle with vegan seitan ragout" and "cauliflower steak" and for dessert some cake with apricot compote and a vegan tiramisu - great!! And we got a very nice service, thanks a lot for this evening!

01/02/2026: We visited this restaurant and had a truly wonderful time! From the moment we entered, we were greeted with great kindness and professionalism, making us feel immediately at ease. The food was simply excellent: carefully prepared dishes, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors. Each course was carefully prepared, and you could see the passion in the kitchen. The portions were also perfect, and the value for money was absolutely right. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, ideal for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The service was impeccable: attentive, smiling, and always available. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and feel pampered!

12/04/2026: We’ve visited La Fattoria di Vignamaggio three times already, and every visit has been an amazing experience. The estate is absolutely stunning, and the restaurant serves delicious, high‑quality food at very reasonable prices. For our wedding, we booked a sensory tour for a family group of 20 people, including children, and it was fantastic. The organisation was impeccable, our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and the entire property is beautifully restored and presented. We made our own spice mix, did an olive oil tasting, and sampled their speciality delicacies while touring the estate. The on‑site shop also offers a wide range of high‑quality, delicious products they make themselves. Highly recommend a visit — even if it means taking a detour. Also very kid‑friendly

03/04/2026: A gem of a bakery, small but full of tasty products; the tarts are excellent, the schiacciata is inviting (but I haven't tried it), I was disappointed by the Pan di ramerino, too sweet, the dough should be that of bread but in this case it is too rich (maybe eggs were added?!) and heavy and does not have the fragrance I expected.

30/03/2026: My Airbnb host recommended this place, saying it's the best focaccia sandwich in Florence, and it was absolutely delicious! 👍 Perfect for taking away as a light snack on the train! We ate it all before we even had a chance to take a picture! The sandwiches are priced by weight. The seasoning was just right for Taiwanese palates, unlike the often overly salty pizzas found in some places. The cheese was incredibly fragrant, and the crust didn't lose its texture even when it got cold. For dessert, I bought traditional rice pudding and a chocolate apple tart. The ingredients were generous, the chocolate was rich and creamy, and the price was very reasonable—one sandwich and two desserts for only six euros! I totally understand why so many of the people queuing were locals. I'm definitely buying a lot to take away on the day I leave Florence; I loved it so much! 😘

11/04/2026: About halfway through our two-week trip to Italy, my husband said he was starting to get tired of spaghetti and pizza, but also that Korean food was too expensive. So, after our Florence city tour, our guide happened to recommend this place, so we came here. The food was great, but the female owner was just so incredibly kind. She didn't seem to speak English, but she kept explaining things to us in Italian for ages. She even called us over separately to give us some chocolate when we were leaving. I really hope this place does well. I tried the "Di Su" sauce, and it tasted exactly like the sauce used for the tteokbokki skewers near schools! It was a familiar taste, which made it even more delicious! They even gave us pickled radish as a freebie!

10/04/2026: I stumbled upon this place while traveling! Seeing two tables of Asians eating there confirmed I'd come to the right place! The owner is super nice, everything is freshly fried, so the wait is about 25 minutes. (˶‾᷄ ⁻̫ ‾᷅˵)

01/05/2026: The atmosphere is very pleasant, the service is decent but not at all friendly. The food is there but tasteless, it's bland. We ordered seafood spaghetti and mixed grilled fish and spaghetti with tomato sauce. The tiramisu was very average. In short, this restaurant is overrated, I think. Personally, I would give it a 3.5 rating.

26/04/2026: A very cosy setting that serves a large variety of wine, ranging from good table wine to super Tuscany wines. Food was reasonably priced and very delicious! Highly recommend!

15/04/2026: You probably want to stick to the meat if you eat here. Pasta was the worst we’ve had in Italy, specifically the Cacio e Pepe. Appetizers were meh. Drinks were good. Was the most expensive meal we had in Italy and the most disappointing taste wise

15/04/2026: Fiorentina Steak was excellent. I liked it the way they cooked. My wife wanted a little more cooked which I asked and they did. Everything was nice. Daniel gave us some info for where to visit. He is a guy. I recommend this place.

My family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the evening that all of you, the staff Luciano (very friendly), Donatello, Emma, ​​and Jean, made unique and unforgettable. 08/04/2026: Best food by far during our stay in Italy. Our server was so friendly, accommodating. We had been on a golf cart tour ( highly recommend) and the guide called ahead to see if they could seat us. We got there very near closing and they stayed open. True Italian food and hospitality!

15/04/2026: We went with family and 15 others to an Italian cooking class. Great fun and we the ate our own pasta! Highly recommend this experience!

15/04/2026: I’ve been to Mangiafuoco twice and both times were amazing, especially their bistecca fiorentina. Giovani and the rest of the staff are wonderful hosts. They are also very friendly to students trying to learn Italian and actually helped me practice during our dinner! The first time I went with my godmother we ordered their Greek salad, pici alla mangiofuoco, and their bistecca fiorentina for 2 people. The second time I went with 4 friends, and they ordered one seafood pici, one ribollita, and one bruschetta. The location is small on the first floor but there is an upstairs. Make sure to make reservations during the peak tourist months as it makes seating easier. But if it’s off-season, walk-ins are more likely to be possible. Overall I hope to come back again soon with family and friends.

04/05/2026: The place is certainly beautiful and romantic. The real problem was the waiters. After I reported that the meat was inedible, I was told that it's just like that, which is absolutely not true.
