09/08/2025: We were almost alone. It's true that it was a little later than usual for Italians, but it was sensational. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even showing us their new Italian recipe book. We ate really well. My ossobuco was exquisite. Despite being centrally located, it could be considered too touristy, but that's not the case, and in fact, it was recommended to us by Italian friends. It was a good experience that we will definitely repeat.

09/08/2025: Popped in here on our first night in Florence! From the outside it doesn’t look like much but once you enter you are welcomed with friendly smiles from staff & shown to your table! The staff were friendly & the food was absolutely delicious! We are doing a tour of Italy & this is by far the best pasta dishes we have had on our trip from Naples, Rome then to Florence! Great selection to choose from including drinks! Brilliant little place to stop off!

31/07/2025: The black rice flavor is super delicious. I regret not getting both scoops with black rice. The staff are so friendly and lovely. The gelato is also lovely. I'm going back tomorrow.

04/08/2025: A small, authentic pizzeria with four tables inside and one outside! We initially wanted to dine at Gustav's, but there was a long line, so we walked past it. We stumbled upon this pizzeria and really enjoyed it! We had a delicious pizza for a low price!

14/08/2025: We've gone two nights in a row. It's a very cute place with great service and really really good food. The portions are huge. We might go back tomorrow for the aged bone. Everyone is friendly. Did I say the food is terrific?!

28/07/2025: A 10/10 atmosphere, spectacular food; you're disappointed by the price of a cover (almost €4 per person) and the price of drinks. If you plan to dine with wine, check beforehand or ask for the wine list. Don't leave it to the waitress; you can ask to avoid surprises.

17/07/2025: Very delicious food and great, attentive service. We had a mixed sausage and cheese platter for starters and carpaccio and truffle pasta for the main course. We were very impressed!

21/07/2025: Lampredotto is an institution in Florence, and every Florentine has their favorite lampredotto maker: Lapo is mine. When I met him, he amazed me by serving me cold Lambruschino with lampredotto, which I later discovered is fantastic in the summer because it "cuts the fat." But lampredotto isn't fatty; it's the leanest meat of the entire animal, and it was the only food I could eat after an operation that kept me on a strict diet for several months. In short: Lapo weaned me on lampredotto! And lampredotto is just the most famous of Lapo's dishes, which he uses all the "poor" cuts, from sinew to breast, to tripe, which he also reworks "on the plate" like inzimino, cacciatora, artichokes, and everything delicious you can imagine with the "fifth quarter." Can you say that? Lapo is a high-end tripe maker who doesn't show off and delivers high quality. I don't want to make comparisons, since every Florentine has their favorite tripe shop...

22/07/2025: Location carina,ristorantino pettinato, buon servizio, prezzi troppo alti per giustificare un menù non all'altezza. Due primi, due secondi (non buoni), due amari un'acqua...quasi 120€. Per quel prezzo mi aspetto di mangiare molto molto meglio. Non mi importa di avere il piatto Instagrammabile se poi resenta lo schifo...

13/08/2025: Not sure why everyone liked this place. I think the my were understaffed when we got there. I learned that I’m not a fan of Florentine steak. It’s not nearly as tender and flavorful as Japanese Wagyu yet they cook it rare. It’s quite chewy (this is everywhere you go not just this place). For me the entire experience was meh maybe because it was 93 degrees outside at 9pm.

09/08/2025: An incredible experience! The waitresses gave us excellent advice on the wine selection. We started with crispy fried sardines and the heavenly coccoli with stracchino and cured ham – an absolute delight. For the main course, we tried different cuts of meat: striploin, beef tenderloin, and the bistecca. One of the best meat experiences we’ve ever had – juicy, melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly seasoned, and with that unmistakable charcoal-grilled flavor. Simply delicious! To round things off, we enjoyed a creamy tiramisu that was the perfect ending to the meal. Our expectations were far exceeded – especially thanks to the sensational Bistecca!
