14/01/2025: Siamo stati a cena qualche mese fa in questo bel ristorante nelle Langhe incuriositi dal fatto che lo chef avesse lavorato presso il ristorante tristellato francese trois gros per parecchi anni. Perplessi per la perdita della stella abbiamo confermato il nostro tavolo ed abbiamo fatto super bene! Buonissima cena Buon servizio Squisito il piatto ispirato ai tagli di Lucio Fontana e auguriamo allo chef "di andare oltre" ... noi lo seguiremo in capo al mondo! Bravissimo bravi tutti Veramente incomprensibile a mio parere la decisione della guida francese.

Excellent dessert (thousand puff pastry). Tables too close together (Saturday evening). Dirty bathroom, but that's okay, maybe the person before me dirtied it. Account slightly above average. Overall rating: 7+ Perfect for dining with friends, on a romantic date (perhaps the first) I would opt for something else.

15/03/2025: Frequento questo locale da quando è stato aperto, malgrado da molti anni i proprietari siano sempre gli stessi, né del cibo né del servizio si può dire la stessa cosa: le materie prime rimangono buone ma tutto il resto è peggiorato. Servizio frettoloso sebbene il personale sia gentile, le posate non vengono cambiate, i prezzi sono più alti della media. La cura e la particolarità che hanno a lungo contraddistinto questo locale, a mio modo di vedere, non ci sono più.

More attention was given to the tables. Good service, at the right times, compatible with the 120 seats in the evening. Noise is the main negative. The savory part of the mixed fried food lacked crunchiness, the sweet part was fine. Fair price. Difficult digestion.

And here we are at dinner: simple dishes, typical of our tradition with a pinch of creativity. The taste of these simple dishes enhanced by novelty. And so we tasted the tagliatelle with a light bagna cauda, ​​the plin seasoned with butter and sage, the tagliolini (tasting offered) with wild boar ragù!!!! An excellent Piedmontese appetizer with tuna and hard-boiled eggs and guinea fowl rolata. All delicious washed down with a good glass of barbera. And last but not least, the bonet, Mr. Lorenzo's workhorse. Very good. All this is the result, as I had already said last time, of "slow" cooking with prolonged cooking and careful preparations. Compliments to the chefs! All seasoned with the friendliness of the staff. We'll be back to taste what we couldn't eat tonight.....very good👏👏👏
