08/12/2025: Very bad experience. I called to reserve a table for dinner. I should point out that we're coming from out of town, so we based our reservations on photos and reviews. We parked our camper in the rest area, so we moved, went into the village, found a place to park, and finally went looking for the restaurant, only to find it closed. If it weren't for a man who lives there, we would have been left standing there like idiots. I quickly called to find out, but no one answered. We returned to the rest area, and luckily there was room. And we found the owners at this hotel. But it was a huge disappointment. The place was incredibly cold, and the food was pleasant, nothing special. The waitress, the younger girl, was very nice, kind, and a great worker. But is it possible to make a reservation for dinner without letting them know that the restaurant is closed? I would never have eaten at a hotel there. Bad experience.

12/10/2025: Now explain to us how a piece of apple pie can express so much love! Excellent cuisine; in case you hadn't already figured it out, I recommend the apple pie.

01/09/2025: It's a shame they're only open in July and August! From breakfast to dinner, everything is perfect and delicious. The pizza is fabulous. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly.

16/08/2025: French friends, run away. Between the wait time, the price, and the quality of the products, it's not worth it. We ordered a bottle of wine, a big mistake; the rosé had turned sour. We ordered a trio of starters for 10 euros, only to end up with a tablespoon of mixed vegetables, three small slices of ham, and Greek-style vegetables, or rather from a can. The pizza was passable, but not the quality you expect in Italy. The dough was good, but the topping was very light, you could see that the ladle didn't get to the edges. DON'T ORDER THE PIZZA WITH LARDO. IT'S BACON, only bacon fat.

08/12/2025: First time here and I have to say we had a delicious pizza 🍕, an excellent beer 🍺 and the dessert was also very good. Quiet and nice place. The only downside, if I may say, is the service. I noticed a bit of confusion among them, as if there was some discomfort. Anyway, I highly recommend it.

09/09/2025: I'd better skip the pizza. The first courses, especially the gnocchi, are truly excellent. Some say they're good, others less so. The desserts are good. As a mountain village restaurant, it's more than adequate. Pontechianale is experiencing a strong growth in tourism, so I'd say it's time to improve in many respects.

06/03/2026: We came to eat raclette and fondue with friends. Before booking, we went to the restaurant to ask for more information. The person was very kind and gave us all the details. When we returned to eat, the plates at the tables were numbered, which was strange. Then the woman told us that the raclette was limited to three plates per person, something that hadn't been mentioned in her explanation. The waitress's expression immediately changed when we asked for more information; they are very dishonest. So, it was the waitress who served us the plates with two small charcuterie boards for six people. The fondue was also small, served with poor-quality bread and an apple. The wine selection was good, however, you had to pay the price of the bottle plus a €10 "service" charge. What they call service is literally just opening the bottle of wine, because the waitress simply placed it on the table without offering us a taste or pouring a glass. The welcome is fine until you realize how dishonest these people are; then they'll change their behavior. The products are okay, but nothing special. I don't recommend it.
