10/06/2025: Update 2025: I can only confirm our impression. Wonderful hotel! We had an unforgettable weekend and would love to come back. The hotel is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Our room facing the inner courtyard was very quiet, everything was perfectly clean, and there was a free minibar... The breakfast is very plentiful, and the egg dishes are freshly prepared (they were also delicious). The bar is perfect for an aperitif (the small snacks are a taste of what the restaurant has to offer). The highlight for us was the restaurant! Absolutely top-notch – with every dish. The price/performance ratio is more than outstanding, and the friendly service in every area is remarkable. The hotel doesn't have its own parking lot, but there is plenty of space for loading and unloading, and there's a free parking garage just a few meters away. (Thanks to the team for the breadsticks, I really appreciated them)

10/06/2025: Nos sentamos fuera con una vista encantadora de la pequeña plaza relativamente tranquila y nos recibieron amablemente. El menú siguió una estructura italiana estándar. Pedí bacalao con trufas negras; mi esposa tenía estofado de ternera. Mientras esperábamos recibimos una sabrosa diversión - bolsa de verduras frescas cigüeñas; en realidad muy sabroso. También una selección excepcional de 3 estilos de pan en casa. Los principales eran pequeños, bien presentados y merecedores de las mejores notas. Para los dulces teníamos fresas frescas con crema y merengue. Perfecto. Barolando ofrece una selección de vinos locales por copa. Elegí el Chardonnay y estaba contento con la elección.

18/05/2025: Finished a 4 day hike in Piedmonte with this place. Fantastic staff, service, wine and food! Best dinner so far in Piedmonte, wine list had many local and good wines, and our waiter was very charming and professional!

06/04/2025: An evening of romance and good food. Last night my husband gave me a surprise: very perfect!!! The San Pietro restaurant in the pedestrian area of ​​Limone has always been a must for those who want to dine (or have lunch) in a restaurant with an elegant and old-fashioned setting. The tables, rigorously round, are arranged in such a way as to guarantee the privacy of the guests. In the center you can admire a large wooden table on which stands, among other things, an exceptional display of cheeses. We were sitting next to the fireplace. Truly superb menu. I have celiac disease and a lot of attention was paid to me: fassona meat marinated with herbs, crumbled egg yolk and sweet and sour onion. The meat is very tender, tasty and not at all salty. My husband enjoyed a very soft lamb paté (at room temperature and not frozen as often happens) with brioche bread and caramelized onions. Applause-worthy first courses: for me risotto with sausage, Barolo and goat's blue cheese. Perfect cooking and delicate flavor despite the tasty ingredients. For my husband, an extraordinary tagliatelle filled with wild boar stew: a unique flavour, unparalleled softness and, to conclude, the owner of the restaurant delighted us - in every sense - with a soft zabaglione expertly prepared in front of us! Truly a huge round of applause to the chef and his team for giving us a wonderful evening! See you soon

In the old streets of Cuneo (vid dronero 8c, a side street of the main ancient street of Cuneo, namely via Roma) you will find this little corner of quality. Coffered ceilings and barrel vaults in ancient bricks, a little design that does not overwhelm the ancient, an excellent union between the two worlds. Open kitchen in the passage between one area and another (2 rooms), from which not only the aroma but also the passion of those who cook comes out. The bathroom is well-kept and clean. Disponibili alcune salette interne in arredamento classico da trattoria di altri tempi. disponibile anche una veranda all’esterno in stile moderno. Accoglienza molto buona. Menù della tradizione locale dove ovviamente le carni ed i bolliti fanno la parte del leone. molto buona la materia prima, buona la qualità dei cibi. Molto buono il servizio anche molto professionale e simpatico. Prezzi nella media. Una buona esperienza. Forse il migliore provato in zona. Consiglio se vi piace il genere cucina tipica con buon rispetto della tradizione locale.

27/04/2025: I am a lover of boiled meat, I came specifically to celebrate my birthday from Lucca together with my wife. We had a wonderful time both in terms of welcome, professionalism and excellent food, the owner at the time of dessert offered us an excellent high quality sparkling wine and after paying the bill which was not at all expensive I had a bottle of Nebbiolo as a gift. I highly recommend it, it's worth the trip.
