28/03/2025: Honestly, I had higher expectations from this "historic" place; a good platter of cold cuts and cheeses rather distant from an "anonymous and rather spongy" steak and a chicory over-sautéed in a preparation of oil with a very spicy pepper-chili flavor. Service was normal and the price was in line even if I was not satisfied at all. I'm sorry but we're not there!

29/03/2025: You might think that the center is only touristy. This place is definitely the exception. We ate carbonara and the taste was amazing, compliments. The only thing to improve is the service, not for the speed or anything else, but simply because as soon as you arrive, given the ordering method, someone would need to explain better. But if you want to taste a top carbonara, this is the right place
29/03/2025: The staff was very very rude.. We were 3 people waited for 20 minutes and the inform us that they have tables only for 2 people..

01/04/2025: All good, just one small note, I would have made the sauce for the oxtail thicken a bit more, too runny...for the rest, the cacio e pepe was worthy of a Grammy, the meat from the oxtail was touching because it melted, a beautiful culinary experience in true Roman style...the staff was beautiful and very friendly

22/04/2025: A pleasant discovery in the center of Rome, among the many choices this is definitely the best in absolute, very kind and well-prepared staff and I think we have the best artichoke in Rome! Absolutely to try!
20/04/2025: place poorly organized in terms of spaces and seats, impossible to have a conversation without hearing those of the tables next to or behind. food without shame or praise, but with the positive note of generous portions. the real flaw is the service, with a waiter who, after having made a mistake in writing down the order and then orders the kitchen, thinking he is right, however does not apologize, missing the first rule of commercial activities: the customer is always right.

Unica piccola osservazione è che mi sarebbe piaciuto che arrivassero insieme le portate tra pasta e pizza. E’ comunque stata una piacevole serata. Complimenti.

25/03/2025: a restaurant discovered by chance, perhaps its name reawakened distant emotions in me, unfortunately lost, but instinct did not betray me, tastefully furnished, super food from first courses to second courses and ending with desserts, excellent choice of wines 🍷 and to garnish it all with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the bill in line with the quality
