24/07/2025: I've been coming to this restaurant for at least six years: the food is delicious, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the menu is varied and inclusive, including vegan options. For me, it's the best Chinese experience in Bologna. If you want to eat there, I recommend going during the week (you can find seats even without a reservation) and not on weekends when it's busiest—if you do, I recommend making a reservation. 05/06/2025: A very spacious place and sensational food. Large portions and a super nice staff who helped us with some advice (especially on the wine side where both the red and white were very appreciated by friends). There is quite a spacious parking lot at the place, somewhere around 15-20 spaces I would say. You will be greeted by the staff with a basket of bakery products (homemade bread and some thicker sticks/breadcrumbs) and at the end you will be served with something sweet even though you did not order dessert.

27/08/2025: If you want quality seafood, you have to go to Il Marinaio! The stylish atmosphere is like being in the cabin of an old-fashioned galleon. The fish is fresh, high-quality, and the service is excellent. The owner, Luigi, is always ready to recommend the best dishes to try. When you come here, you have to put yourself completely in his hands—a real guarantee.

02/08/2025: The pizzas are simply divine. The crust was perfectly crunchy, yet soft on the inside, with a perfect balance of flavors. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality. The Derby pizzeria offers a wide range of pizzas, suitable for all tastes. Prices are also reasonable, considering the quality of the food and service. Excellent value for money. The perfect service and very kind and always smiling staff!!! 👍🏻😋

21/06/2025: Came across this restaurant on maps as it was a short walk from where we were staying in Bologna. After reading the great reviews, I was confident we’d made a good choice, and indeed we had. The tagliatelle bolognese was amazing and as was the lasagne. Reasonably priced and nice atmosphere in the restaurant. I had the semi freddo type of dessert (can’t remember exactly what it was) but this was really yummy. The staff were lovely as well.

19/06/2025: What a lovely meal. The restaurant was small and comfortably lit and decorated. The atmosphere was the perfect setting for an authentic Bolognese meal. The dishes were sized appropriately and the flavor was astounding. Highly recommend this restaurant for a pleasant night out in town.

30/08/2025: Lunch on a weekday, so it wasn't crowded. Very kind and friendly staff served excellently cooked, quality food. We ordered: 2 tagliatelle with wild boar, 1 generous Tuscan appetizer, 1 generous mixed rosticciata, fried rabbit + various side dishes, wine, water, homemade crescenta, 1 house dessert, coffee = approximately €95. We'll be back, even though it's a bit out of the way, but close enough to the Boccadirio Sanctuary.

02/09/2025: Saturday evening, we arrived around 9:15 PM, and the place was quite busy. I took my order and the drinks arrived almost immediately, but I waited almost an hour for the pizza, which was a bit too long, even though I understand everyone orders pizza. The waiters were nowhere to be seen the entire time. I wanted to order another drink, but by then I'd finished eating. (A table of four arrived around 10:20 PM, and the pizzas were served after 10 minutes; by then, everyone else was eating.) Friendly staff. I'll be back because the pizza is worth it.

07/08/2025: EXCEPTIONAL! If you're looking for a restaurant serving typical Bologna food, you've come to the right place. The decor is period; it's one of the oldest restaurants in Bologna. The pasta with ragu and the nettle gnocchi were truly delicious, as was the tiramisu! The waiters are also very friendly, and they offer a complimentary welcome soup. We highly recommend it!
