14/10/2025: This restaurant offers traditional Bolognese dishes, such as tagliatelle with ragù, cotoletta alla bolognese (with cheese and cooked meat), and zuppa inglese (in addition to the standard dishes). The service is good, although, at least in our case, I hesitate to provide information (both about the dishes and general information). The wait was also quite long (luckily, it was Sunday lunch with no afternoon appointments). Parking is the downside... It's really hard to find a spot, even if it's not close by, due to the numerous businesses and limited space. All in all, a positive experience... We'll be back.

15/09/2025: An exceptional stay at B&B San Pietro. We were warmly welcomed by [Pino and his wife], always available and ready to offer any advice on what to see. The room was modern, spotlessly clean, and had an enchanting view. Breakfast, with homemade cakes and fresh local produce, was a real highlight of our trip. The location is strategic for visiting the surrounding area and, of course, the sea, just a few kilometers away, but the real gem was the attention and passion the owners put into making guests feel at home. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

30/08/2025: Good evening, I was passing through on July 27, 2025, coming from a visit to the Natuzza Evolo church. I found it on the road, my wife, and my son stopped. The owner seated us even though I hadn't booked. What can I say? Everything was good. The appetizer was cold cuts and vegetables, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, pork shank, and cutlets with exquisite side dishes. I will definitely be back. For now, I'm a bit far away. What a shame. Bye bye.

30/09/2025: Culinaric Highlight of our trip to Emilia Romagna! If you love mushrooms in all sorts and varieties as much as delicious food, one should absolutely come and eat here!

21/09/2025: Dinner for two. A starter of delicately breaded fried mushrooms, followed by tagliatelle with plenty of mushrooms, followed by fresh porcini mushroom salad for me, and grilled porcini mushrooms for my wife, with a glass of excellent wine. Everything was delicious. Reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back as soon as we can.

23/09/2025: I came here for the first time to order fries. I immediately received a warm welcome and coffee. They also asked if I wanted to order something to eat or if I wanted to grab a sandwich for the road. I had a delicious pasta meal. The service was excellent. I'll be back soon and happy to do so. If I could give them a 10***, they would have.

29/08/2025: The best ice cream in Bologna! In addition to the usual sorbets, they also offer vegan pistachio, hazelnut, and chocolate ice creams...simply delicious! The milk flavors are also imaginative and very tasty. The small portion is larger than expected, and Paolo is very friendly and chatty. Highly recommended!

21/09/2025: Last night, while searching for a sushi restaurant on Google Maps, we found this place with a good star rating, so we decided to give it a try. The entrance is elegant and welcoming, so our initial expectations were positive. Once inside, however, we immediately noticed that the place was practically empty, despite it being a Saturday night: this left us a bit perplexed. We quickly took a seat and asked if they offered an All-You-Can-Eat option, which, however, wasn't available. At that point, since we were already seated, we decided to order à la carte: a mix of sushi served on a wooden tray, beef udon for me, and rice noodles for my friend. When the sushi arrived, unfortunately, the quality seemed questionable, especially the tuna: the texture and flavor were so strange that we preferred to leave most of it on our plate. The raw tuna also wasn't convincing, while the cooked one was slightly better, but still not up to expectations. The udon noodles, however, arrived very greasy, to the point of seeming to have been cooked directly in oil. Despite my hunger, I didn't find them enjoyable. The prices are average for a Japanese restaurant, but the overall experience wasn't satisfying. Personally, I wouldn't return, although I recognize the elegant ambiance at the entrance and the prompt service. In short: the place looks nice, but the quality of the food—especially the sushi—leaves much to be desired. With a little more attention to freshness and preparation, it could definitely improve.

06/10/2025: A very nice place. Good products, the only downside is that they don't reheat them. The quality isn't the highest, but if you're in the area, it's not bad. Good 100% Arabica coffee.

16/09/2025: The service was top-notch. The waiter was accommodating to those who don't speak Italian and spoke very good English, which facilitated communication and was a huge plus. The food was delicious, it really delighted our taste buds. We ordered pizza and carbonara. The food was very well seasoned, which enhanced the flavor of the dishes. The pizza combined with the spicy olive oil was heavenly. Although the dishes weren't particularly "dietary," we didn't feel overly full or greasy, which is a big plus. We highly recommend it and encourage you to visit. Even though the pizzeria isn't in the city center, but rather on the outskirts, it's really worth it!

10/10/2025: They refused us, claiming the restaurant was full, even though there were only two tables occupied. They probably don't like foreigners. Make a reservation before coming.

20/09/2025: Nice place, especially the outside. Some original and well-made dishes, worth the price. But the gnocco fritto (fried gnocchi) with cured meats and sauces/pickles for €20, and even more so with scraps of prosciutto, is absolutely outrageous in an area where everyone offers this dish. So with two portions of gnocco fritto, two spaghetti dishes, and a €30 bottle of wine, we spent a whopping €118—too much!

26/09/2025: A very simple trattoria. A family-friendly and very minimalist atmosphere. The food, however, was absolutely excellent. We had the raw seafood, which was truly delicious, with a sea aroma that whets the appetite. The first courses were superb!! Compliments to the Chef!! The squid ink risotto with the raw seafood was exceptional.... And the paccheri with lobster deserved top marks!! The quality/price ratio was excellent.

04/10/2025: Loved our dinner last night @ Vamolino! It was a short walk from our hotel and not in the middle of the center congestion. Food was fabulous along with the wonderful service! Definitely worth a stop when looking for a place for dinner in Bologna.

04/10/2025: Excellent meal for our first night in Bologna! We wanted to sample the local cuisine and I found the place - it had great reviews, I was able to make a reservation online, and it was a bit away from the tourist masses. Food alone would warrant 5 stars, plus the waitstaff was kind and the service was quick. Tried the tagliatelle allá ragú, tortellini in brodo, bolognese meatballs, and friggione and all were excellent! A great way to get a taste of bolognese classics
