A typical Bolognese trattoria, home-style, with everything homemade... The typical flavors you'd only find at your grandparents'... A typical 1960s atmosphere, but that's nice. Then there's Bossoli, the blue-eyed man, the typical "ignorante" (for us, that means nice) Bolognese. Here you always feel at home, among friends.

An old-fashioned trattoria with home cooking. We visited this trattoria recommended by our host. You enter through the bar and then find yourself in an old-fashioned, rustic restaurant, just like in the olden days. The cuisine is simple and traditional. I tried: - Lasagna: subpar, both the béchamel and the ragu were thin; I expected more. The pasta, however, was very good. - Tortelloni with ricotta and mushrooms: delicious! - Stuffed zucchini: just like grandma makes them. - Rabbit cacciatore: very, very good!

12/05/2026: Tortellini in Brodo was delicious. Little bit outside the Bologna city centre. Definitely one of the old style classic restaurants that got Bologna its reputation for good food. Fun vibe!
