18/10/2025: Dinner with friends, terrible service. The waiter took the wrong orders, the dishes didn't arrive. After a prompt, they brought the order, still making mistakes, and in the end, the bill was astronomical for what we ate. We definitely paid for other people's dishes...not to be repeated! Our mistake, not asking for a pre-bill! Chaotic place!

16/09/2025: Trattoria like it used to be, traditional Bolognese cuisine deserves top marks. It's not a fancy restaurant, but the added value here is tradition, good food as it was once made: excellent tortellini, tagliatelle with amazing ragù, lasagna, zuppa inglese—everything is excellent. Everything is handmade by these two sisters, continuing the family tradition, bringing honor to the tradition and value of our city's food in Bologna. 14/10/2025: Inconsistent food. Previous night’s tagliatelle ragu was smothered in sauce and chockful of beef. So good that I went back this evening. However, tonight’s version was bone dry with 2 spoonfuls (if that) of beef. What a terrible disappointment!

30/09/2025: Friendly and cosy place for dinner. Chef came out and explained the daily menu and he was super friendly. Food tasted great and was filling. It had a home made taste and feel (in a good way!). This restaurant really was amongst the better ones we ate at in comparison to other restaurants at the same price point.

09/10/2025: Korean food? I'd say REAL KOREAN FOOD. Guys, this place is truly amazing: the staff is disarmingly kind. The atmosphere is comfortable, bright, and spacious, with a traditional grill in the center of the table where you can enjoy quality meat along with appetizers, first courses, second courses, and everything else made with the same ingredients. Even a la carte, it would be a bargain, but with the "All You Can Eat (& Grill)" menu, it's a no-brainer: EVERYTHING IS SPECTACULAR. Excellent food. Traditional and non-traditional drinks. It's so good and plentiful that my friends and I almost felt guilty about the incredibly low price. 10 OUT OF 5 STARS.

24/09/2025: Good and plentiful food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. This was my first and only time there (at a time when it was still sparsely crowded). When I return in the future, I'll give it a 5-star rating if the experience is as good as the first. Update: The second time was also very good, so I'm adding a 5-star rating.

08/09/2025: Very nice atmosphere, good food, especially the starters. Too bad the service was terrible. The waitress (if you can call her that) told me to finish my starter quickly because she had to bring the main courses. It seems truly absurd to me that in 2025, anyone still behaves like they did in the Middle Ages. The curtains protecting us from the sun were always coming off, and no one ever came to help us; we had to do it ourselves. The only one was a young man who behaved very well.

12/10/2025: Wonderful place in every way! The owner is exceptional, kind and professional, attentive and full of thoughtfulness. You can feel his passion for his work, which shines through in his courtesy towards his guests. I celebrated our wedding anniversary with my husband and everything was perfect! The place was truly beautiful, surrounded by greenery, everything was well-kept and welcoming. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and plentiful. The owner met all our needs and even helped us with the best advice. It was an unforgettable celebration!

25/07/2025: We spent a few days in Bologna, and from the first day we arrived, we were treated extremely well. They're super friendly, and everything is excellent. The price-performance ratio is excellent. The owner is a genius. The bread is delicious, and so are the croissants. Thanks for everything 😍

19/09/2025: The pizza was good, and the cocktails weren't bad either, though charging full price might put you a bit outside of your budget for a pizzeria. The dessert, on the other hand, was a mascara. The beauty of the tenerina and mascarpone is the texture and temperature; here, everything is lost. A nice evening, but there are probably better options.

28/10/2025: Probably the best restaurant we ate at in Italy. The portions were excellent and not small. The ingredients were of very high quality. We were a bit rude when we entered while waiting for a seat to become available, but other than that it was a great experience!

26/10/2025: We obviously enjoyed our lunch because I had no desire to put down my fork and knife to capture images of our food. Biagio, the chef and owner of Ristorante Mamima offers a nice selection of classic Italian Antipasti, Primi and Secundi course options. We had an eggplant, sausage and tomato sauce starter then tried the ribeye and flank steak with mushroom sauce. The side of roasted potatoes and large cut French Fries were excellent. And…Tiramisu! The restaurant offers a decent selection of Italian white and red wines from the low 20’s to 80 Euros. If you are in or near Bologna, please plan to make time for a meal here! 💥💥❤️🇨🇭

29/09/2025: Good hotel in a quiet location. The location is a bit remote from the center but right next to the bus stop, so the center (bus number 90, destination Piazza Cavour) can be reached easily and inexpensively. Buses run from morning to evening about every 15 minutes. It is not worth taking a car to the center of Bologna, because the center is a forbidden area for cars and it is difficult to find parking places near the city. However, it is good to have a car if you are staying here, as there is little to see in the San Lazzaro area. However, a good pizzeria is nearby! The hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable. Good breakfast, and excellent coffee. I would have liked fresh orange juice and fried eggs, but otherwise everything was available and especially desserts were excellent. The swimming pool area was brand new and really clean, there were enough sun loungers and parasols. The hotel has a nice staff and friendly service, late check out was easy. I definitely recommend the hotel for travelers to Bologna, but the location is remote enough that it is worth renting a car for a visit to the Cathedral of San Luca, for example. It is also worth visiting the nearby hills to admire the sunset. To the delight of motorsport lovers, Modena, Maranello and Imola are also quite close...
