02/09/2025: We celebrated our wedding at the end of August at Antica Pieve and are still in awe of the beauty of this place, both we and all our guests. From the first phone call, even though we weren't familiar with the venue, Daniela won us over with her professionalism and hospitality, the wonderful photos, and the varied menu options for a typical Bolognese menu, featuring local products, dishes cooked on-site, and at competitive prices compared to Bologna. We had practically already made up our minds before even seeing the venue and trying the cuisine! Once we saw and tasted it, we were absolutely sold, and the party confirmed and exceeded every expectation. Michele, the owner's son, handled all the logistics with precision and punctuality and gave us peace of mind that everything was under control. With a little organization and the help of Daniela and Michele, we didn't need a wedding planner. Even the cake, baked that same morning by Daniela on-site, received compliments from everyone. Excellent advice on local florists and also on how to schedule the day for us, as we had the civil ceremony in Bologna that morning. Parking was convenient for our guests. A great "Plan B" option, even though we were very lucky with the weather. No one complained about the distance, because the agriturismo and its scenery make all the effort worthwhile. We are truly overjoyed and can't wait to return for dinner or another occasion. Thank you so much to everyone who worked to make this wonderful day possible!

04/09/2025: You should be grateful that I was with friends and didn't want to start a conversation, but it's good for others to know who you really are. Only now have I been able to consider the robbery we suffered yesterday. Two platters with a maximum of 500 grams of poor-quality cold cuts cost us 38 euros, or 76 euros per kilo—crazy stuff. Not to mention the half-liter plastic bottles of water, which cost 10 cents, you pay 2 euros. At least please serve the water in glass bottles. For the rest, I'm attaching the receipt. I should have called the financial police. I urge other people to go elsewhere.

09/08/2025: Il Pirata del Porto: the pasta was a bit of a challenge, but the sauce was a real treat A Pearl of the Sea in the Heart of Bologna I had the opportunity to dine at the "Il Pirata del Porto" restaurant in Bologna, and the experience was overwhelmingly positive. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service courteous, making my stay immediately enjoyable. For my lunch, I opted for a classic, spaghetti allo scoglio, accompanied by water and coffee, for a final bill of €22.50. The portion was generous, and above all, the sauce was remarkable: a truly rich, flavorful seafood dish that fully met my expectations. Octopus, mussels, clams, shrimp, and even lobster blended together in a well-balanced sauce, making every bite a true pleasure. If I really had to find a small criticism, it was the pasta itself. While not bad, I found it slightly overcooked, lacking the perfect al dente consistency that best enhances a dish of this type. This is a minor sin, but it detracted from the overall experience. Overall, "Il Pirata del Porto" remains an excellent choice for those looking to enjoy quality seafood in Bologna. With a little improvement in the cooking of the pasta, the dish would have been truly perfect.

23/07/2025: I’m genuinely shocked this place is still open. I tried the mango and it literally tasted like detergent—no trace of actual mango flavor. Just foul. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was disgusting. What made it worse was the owner's complete indifference when I pointed it out. No apology, no concern—just shrugged it off. You can tell something’s off the moment you walk in. On the left, there’s a tub of melted “granita” that looks like it’s been sitting there for days. It’s unappetizing and honestly concerning from a hygiene perspective. Seriously—this place should be inspected. I wouldn’t feel safe eating anything here.

23/07/2025: I'm not one to write reviews, but this ice cream shop deserves it. We ordered ice cream, and after the first spoonful, we knew we had to go again, so we ordered a second. We'll definitely be back, and if you're in Bologna, it's a must-visit. They have some chairs outside where you can enjoy the atmosphere, and the owners are very friendly.

With them, you're never a customer: you're a guest welcomed with sincere affection and impeccable professionalism. The frappé remains an essential ritual for me, one that always brings back familiar flavors and happy memories. This summer, I discovered two new wonders: the fresh, velvety flavor of mango and the enveloping combination of banana and dark chocolate. They've become my must-haves, those little joys that make warm, bright days sweeter. And then there's that unique atmosphere: made of genuine smiles, light conversation, and the feeling that time slows down here, letting you simply enjoy the moment. It's the kind of place you not only visit, but carry in your heart.

24/08/2025: Highly recommended restaurant! Excellent food. The vine leaf rolls with pomegranate sauce are delicious. Abundant dishes. Unique desserts. The saffron beer, created in Casola, is delicious. I'll definitely be back and bring my friends because it was a great surprise. The garden isn't bad, and I think this winter they'll allow for more tables by expanding the interior. The two tables in the small corridor to the side of the garden, where they bring out the dishes from the kitchen, aren't a good spot because they're too busy and people tend to smoke right there, so they're a nuisance.

27/07/2025: 🍷 An authentic and memorable culinary experience! 🍷 We had lunch at the agriturismo restaurant and were truly thrilled. The quality of the ingredients, all fresh and locally sourced, shines through in every dish: authentic flavors, generous portions, and thoughtful yet unfussy presentation. The menu respects seasonality and highlights rural tradition with a touch of creativity. The homemade first courses are unforgettable—the tagliatelle with Cinta Senese ragù was simply perfect—and the grilled meats, cooked to perfection and served with garden vegetables. The assortment of antipasti was also very popular, including local cured meats and cheeses accompanied by homemade preserves. All accompanied by a truly excellent house red wine. The staff is friendly and attentive, present but never intrusive. The atmosphere is rustic and warm, overlooking the countryside: the ideal place for a quiet, romantic, or family dinner. Fair prices for such high quality. We'll definitely be back, even just for the pleasure of tasting those authentic flavors again!

28/05/2025: Oggi ero in via Agucchi per delle commissioni, sono passato davanti a questo laboratorio di pasticceria e sono entrato. C'è un vasto assortimento di torte e biscotti a prezzi davvero ragionevoli. Ho deciso di prendere una piccola torta di riso, di cui sono ghiotto. Veramente squisita. Peccato solo che non si possa prendere anche il caffè assieme al dolce, in quanto la Biscotteria non fa servizio bar.
