One of the best taverns I've ever eaten at, fantastic atmosphere and truly high quality products (mention the Selve di Vallolmo cured meats which are always delicious!)

I came to this place as a child with my family...I came back to introduce it to a friend. The place has remained the same with the same welcoming rustic style. We had a small appetizer with bruschetta, one with oil and garlic and one with Colonnata lard. Good for putting a stop to hunger. We took potato tortelli with meat sauce, both pasta and sauce were delicious; ricotta and spinach tortelli with butter and sage, equally excellent. You can feel that it is homemade pasta and the fillings are abundant. For the second course we had the mixed grill for 2, which includes pork steaks, sausage, rigatina and beef steak. All very good but the beef steak was something incredible!!!! Butter that melted in your mouth!!! Very tender and perfectly cooked! We would have liked to have dessert but we were too full and couldn't.

We stopped there on our way down from Milan by car. My wife chose it based on location and great reviews. We can confirm them all! Welcoming atmosphere, courteous and helpful staff and excellent cuisine! We had potato tortelli with truffles and delicious pappardelle with wild boar ragout. Due to the journey we couldn't taste the meat, but we saw some Florentine steaks passing by that deserved applause! Honest prices. To try!

We stopped in this tavern after visiting the Bocca di Rio Sanctuary. Excellent and fragrant first courses with truffles and mushrooms. Mushroom side dishes and alternatives for those who don't eat meat. Excellent cantucci with vinsanto!

Definitely exceptional, excellent cuisine. I recommend you book...

Come essere a casa, cortesia e qualità solo le parole d’ordine di “Nonno Poldo”. Atmosfera vintage, come una volta, sapori della tradizione e servizio impeccabile. Complimenti 😍

Erano alcuni anni che mancavamo da nonno poldo, posticino coccolo informale tipico toscano, piatti buoni con pasta fatta in casa. Buono il servizio e il dolce. Conto di 27€ a testa per 2antipasti ( 4 bruschette)- 2primi- 1 dolce-1 acqua-2 caffè . Insomma insomma. Le 4 stelle sicuramente per l’accoglienza, per il conto sicuramente non da 4. In veranda fa davvero freddo , anche con le stufe.

Finiti per caso in questo locale che si trova nelle vicinanze dell'uscita autostradale Roncobilaccio. Non saprei da dove iniziare per descrivere l'amore che le persone che conducono e gestiscono questo locale sono in grado di esprimere. Si respira il profumo per l'arte e per la professione della ristorazione. Vale la pena fare una sosta in questo locale. Vi troverete immersi in un pezzo di storia e ne farete subito parte.
