Wonderful little spot just around the corner from where we were based. The service was excellent and food delicious and traditional. If sitting on the portico you have the added benefit of watching people attempting to find the arrows lodged under the wooden portico of the Corte Isola. Well priced.

A very cute place on Strada Maggiore, found somewhat by chance. It's hard to go wrong in Bologna anyway... But not only did we get it right, we also discovered a top restaurant. The macaroni with sausage ragù and tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù were practically perfect. The ragùs were amazing! The cocktails were good, and so was the dessert, an excellent tiramisu. The price was more than fair, and I've marked this place down for next time, since there are so many dishes to try, which are certainly delicious.

Excellent meal. We came here for lunch just as they were opening at noon, so we got a table straight away. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was great.

Well done, well done, well done! Small, intimate, warm place with an open kitchen (so nothing to hide!!). The guy in the dining room was very friendly. We tried various dishes and everyone at the table was amazed by what they were enjoying! We looked at each other and nodded as if to say... wow, what a great discovery. But it doesn't end there... My daughter ordered a carbonara (I say carbonara in Bologna???)... the portion was generous and to leave nothing behind I decided to finish it (luckily)... the best I've ever eaten. Amazing: perfectly cooked pasta, blended ingredients, super crispy bacon, a real bomb (Roman chef). My compliments to everyone! Well done, well done, well done

Delicious food and generous portions. Friendly and fairly quick service. Only downside: the table closest to the door, with the door left open, is a bit cold. Still recommended!

After being traumatized at a well-known and historic Chinese restaurant in Bologna, where I spent as much as I would at a typical Bolognese restaurant, I stumbled upon this Chinese restaurant, where the quality is decidedly better and the prices are much lower. Clean (even the bathroom), well-decorated, and the service was excellent and very friendly. This is my experience compared to that of another disappointing and overpriced Chinese restaurant in Bologna: The spring rolls were flavorful, rather than simply tasting of boiled cabbage. The grilled meat dumplings were large, perfectly cooked, and had a great filling, rather than being small and bland. The fresh Chinese noodles with shrimp were excellent, with distinctive aromas and flavors. The duck with mushrooms and bamboo shoots was very tasty and carefully prepared. The Chinese beer was reasonably priced, not like a bottle of wine. I will definitely be back!
