Italian BreakPast In Bologna

Wonderful little spot just around the corner from where we were based. The service was excellent and food delicious and traditional. If sitting on the portico you have the added benefit of watching people attempting to find the arrows lodged under the wooden portico of the Corte Isola. Well priced.

Delicious gramigna pasta with sausage ragù! 10/10 service too

A very cute place on Strada Maggiore, found somewhat by chance. It's hard to go wrong in Bologna anyway... But not only did we get it right, we also discovered a top restaurant. The macaroni with sausage ragù and tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù were practically perfect. The ragùs were amazing! The cocktails were good, and so was the dessert, an excellent tiramisu. The price was more than fair, and I've marked this place down for next time, since there are so many dishes to try, which are certainly delicious.

Excellent meal. We came here for lunch just as they were opening at noon, so we got a table straight away. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was great.

A little gem in the heart of Bologna where you can find an authentic selection of dishes made with care and passion! Top-notch lasagna Bolognese, but also excellent drinks!

Well done, well done, well done! Small, intimate, warm place with an open kitchen (so nothing to hide!!). The guy in the dining room was very friendly. We tried various dishes and everyone at the table was amazed by what they were enjoying! We looked at each other and nodded as if to say... wow, what a great discovery. But it doesn't end there... My daughter ordered a carbonara (I say carbonara in Bologna???)... the portion was generous and to leave nothing behind I decided to finish it (luckily)... the best I've ever eaten. Amazing: perfectly cooked pasta, blended ingredients, super crispy bacon, a real bomb (Roman chef). My compliments to everyone! Well done, well done, well done

Delicious food and generous portions. Friendly and fairly quick service. Only downside: the table closest to the door, with the door left open, is a bit cold. Still recommended!

The best lasagna I've had in years (and I'm from Bologna!). Lovely place, with an intimate atmosphere and great vibes. Excellent drinks!
