This evening I had the pleasure of savoring the delicacies of this magnificent restaurant serving traditional Apulian cuisine. This evening I sampled the seafood: homemade spaghetti with mussels, and for the main course, grilled cuttlefish with asparagus and burrata (Rating 10). I was amazed by the flavors. I'm completely satisfied. I'll be back very soon.

I've been to this place several times over the years because it always inspired me when I passed by... I've had lunch here at least a couple of times, and I've always had a good experience, because the ingredients are fresh, perhaps because it was lunchtime, and there's so much to choose from. One evening, next door, when they were also having an aperitif buffet, I came here with a friend. The buffet consisted of pizza, panzerotti, focaccia, arancini, pasta, a vegetable platter (which was already sold out), a couple of empty plates (because those were also sold out), and bruschetta. I grabbed a couple of small plates, containing pieces of pizza, focaccia, arancini, and panzerotti, and a bottle of still water. Afterwards, I went around again and unfortunately came back empty-handed because they hadn't put anything new out yet, the remaining plates were cold, and other empty plates. Then I asked when they'd restock the buffet, and the waiter replied with a superior air, "What more food do you want?" And I immediately replied that he had to pay attention to the buffet because some dishes were empty and others were cold... Then after 10 minutes, other things to eat came back, including more pieces of arancini, more focaccia, pizzas, and a couple of plates of pasta... So I made another couple of rounds, with one dish at a time, but each time the things I ordered were always cold and stale, except for the mozzarella pizza, which was warm and, from what it looked like, freshly made. We continued eating, adding a tiramisu at the end, which was good, and so far so good. Let's conclude with some thoughts. I found the aperitif a bit sparse and also a bit expensive, and I also think that many of those items are things they didn't sell that day, without bothering to reheat them. I'm sorry because I've always had a good time at lunch, but not that evening, so I'll definitely avoid returning in the evening, also because I've often found the service a bit arrogant and presumptuous at times. I'll try to go back anyway because I remember that the products, at least at lunchtime, were of good quality, so I'll definitely give it a try and then, who knows, if it goes very well, I'll go back in the evening to try the new aperitif formula since I haven't been there for a while.

One of the main reasons to visit Bologna. Incredible service from Ilda even though we went just after the store had opened. Large variety of dishes which were all fresh. Low prices for their quality.
