This place is amazing! The atmosphere is very chill, the food is fantastic and the staff is very polite! The food is cooked right in front of you, and it’s served warm. Overall a great experience, I highly recommend!

I am not a sandwich person and I absolutely loved this. 11/10 and the owner spoke English as well so ordering was easy. (Food Porn sandwich in picture)

For years, I've been an elderly, annoying customer who buys only empty piadas, always three of them. And I say, "Will you clean the plate so it stays white? And will you leave it uncooked for me so it can reheat later?" The guys are always smiling when they listen, even at peak hours, and that's not a given. The delicious piada is always a pleasure, absorbing my sauces or fillings with a flavorful fragrance. One of them—every time—even gives me a discount I never asked for. But there's one thing I feel I have to understand as a customer: situations. The finger pointing at a mistake, the criticisms about the location (it's a small indoor market), or the eager approach, forcing the line and disrupting with too many questions while they serve or prepare food for others, the constant, critical judgment of the personalities of those who serve us, working with patience and helpfulness... these are zero stars for me. Here as elsewhere. Five stars for the guys and their piadas, however. And who cares about some distractions for which, and this isn't a given, the kids apologize. I'm so fed up with this more than imperfect world of criticism and blah blah blah!

I've eaten here a couple of times, and I've always had a great experience, both in terms of the quality and the kindness and friendliness of the owner... This last time I came for the seasonal gourmet piadinas, and I had one with a Bolognese cutlet—yes, you read that right, with cutlet, ham, and cheese—really delicious and unique. The other was with pumpkin, creamed onions, sausage, and smoked scamorza, and that was also excellent. What more can I say? I'll definitely be back, and I'm eagerly awaiting the new gourmet piadinas that make this place even more unique and delicious... see you next time.

Ristorante Vàmolà

10/02/2026: A very welcoming restaurant in Altedo, located inside a large farmhouse, surrounded by spacious grounds, a garden, and a pool. The staff are young and friendly, fast, and welcoming. We had lunch on a delightful, light-filled veranda with a checked tablecloth, a must in the best trattorias. The Bolognese menu offers a wide selection. We ordered a taglierini (a thin slice of cured meat) for two with pinzini (small crescentine-shaped pasta), a tartare with slow-cooked egg, capers, olives, and mustard, and a tagliata (a thin slice of beef) with sauce, baked potatoes, and fried porcini mushrooms. The Poggio ai Ginepri red wine from the Argentiera di Bolgheri winery was a great discovery. We finished with a millefeuille and a semi-passito (a kind of dessert) and coffee. We had a wonderful time, even being watched by a beautiful, very well-behaved poodle at the next table, who we later discovered was the manager's dog. Beautiful day, great music. We'll be back!
18/01/2026: I really enjoyed the food overall. It fully satisfied my refined palate, especially the Fassona Hangus steak, an absolute delicacy. Excellent service, friendly staff. A well-maintained, homely atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

03/05/2026: Bolognese meat sauce, excellent, as was the truffle gramigna. Roast potatoes, rabbit, and acacia fritters—delicious, but I don't have them. Desserts, like the rest. We'll be back...
