20/02/2026: In my opinion, it's the best place we've ever stayed. Extremely kind and always available. We also had the pleasure of eating in addition to staying there... well, we can't say anything other than complimenting everything, it was very, very good... unfortunately, the winter months didn't allow us to use the pool, but we'll be back... it's a real peace of mind... a family atmosphere, isn't it possible to give it 6 stars?

23/11/2025: We visited this restaurant in Assisi yesterday and had a truly pleasant experience. The restaurant is well-maintained, welcoming, and conveniently located: just steps from the center and very close to the Matteotti parking lot, making it easy to get there.
Despite the late hour, the host—the owner of the restaurant—was extremely helpful and prepared a variety of dishes for us, carefully adapting each course to our dietary needs. A rare, attentive, and genuinely courteous service.
Good food, a relaxed atmosphere, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

07/01/2026: The atmosphere was delightful, the service impeccable (a special mention to Bianca, who was incredibly efficient and kind), and the food was plentiful and delicious. We highly recommend it. Also worth mentioning was the adjoining bar, where the friendly Alessandra welcomed us.

07/01/2026: Besides a truly charming location right in the historic center of Città della Pieve, we had a truly wonderful meal. The staff were attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was truly pleasant, and the food was delicious. The wine list was also excellent.
06/01/2026: The pasta was okay, but nothing special, and the meat was the same. The best part was the antipasti: hand-sliced prosciutto and focaccia.

08/01/2026: I was disappointed with the burger; the meat didn't seem very fresh, and the slice of bread at the bottom of the bun was soggy and impossible to pick up without falling apart. The pasta was okay, as were the dessert and polenta. The menu seemed to lack any mention of the freshness of the products next to the dishes.

01/02/2026: Excellent place for a quick, good meal. All the restaurants in the area opened an hour later, but I was hungry. A good selection of local products, and the person serving me was very kind. Within minutes, two delicious sandwiches were ready to go. Right behind city center main square. Highly recommended, and definitely worth a visit again on my next trip.

The staff are very friendly, and the rustic atmosphere reflects the city's historic center.
The sandwiches' ingredients are locally sourced and of excellent quality. Unusual and perfect combinations.

08/01/2026: My wife (MDW) and I just finished another delightful meal at Mangiar di Vino. I ordered an entrée off the menu but MDW requested a entrée that was not on the menu . Our server was not sure that they could accommodate her request but took it to the kitchen. We both got the delicious entrees exactly as requested. My only recommendation is that the Red Wine should be served at CELLAR temperature, not room temperature.
