Tempio del Gusto In Spoleto

We had a truly spectacular meal here. Everything was memorable from the service, the atmosphere and most importantly the food. Incredible presentation and everything was absolutely delicious. The cigar tiramisu was excellent and the most creative dessert I’ve ever had. Don’t miss it when in Spoleto.

Il Tempio del Gusto nos fue recomendado por nuestro maravilloso 'Albergo' Hotel Aurora, y fue una de las cenas más deliciosas, deliciosas y elegantes que he tenido en Italia, para mí comparable a la ahora cerrada LeBecFin en Filadelfia, PA. Nuestro servidor era un caballero dulce que entendía muy poco inglés, que estaba bien porque entiendo la mayoría del italiano y tenía mi teléfono para traducir. Después de que pedimos nuestros platos (pedí su plato de espaguetis picante), nos dieron varios cursos que no sabíamos que recibiríamos gratis. Nos dieron una muestra de quesos Umbrianos para comenzar con pan fresco, junto con un pequeño frasco de alcachofas adobadas para cada uno de nosotros. Al final de nuestra comida, nos ofrecieron una pequeña muestra de galletas de postre. Todo fue excepcional tanto en la presentación como en el tamaño de la porción. El interior está iluminado por velas y las paredes están adornadas con fotos de bailarines de ballet, que cuando pregunté por qué, el servidor se comunicó simplemente porque al propietario le gusta el ballet. Las mesas estaban cubiertas de mantel y todo era precioso. ¡No te pierdas este tesoro de Spoleto!

Spectacular place, really cared for in every detail. My boyfriend took me there to celebrate his anniversary. Magical atmosphere, elegant but a little rustic. Very kind and helpful staff. I didn't find any flaws in the menu. We ate a classic tasting menu and a fish one and we liked everything. I would like to underline, because it is absolutely NOT obvious, the helpfulness of the staff who changed the tasting menu for me as I am a vegetarian (replacing the second course of meat with a good and abundant plate of vegetables and cheeses). Must try 💥

Five stars are not enough for this gem. A menu full of special dishes and special combinations and the best service ever found in a restaurant of the same level. There were 4 of us, we tried different dishes and there was not one that did not exceed expectations. Special mention for the strangozzi with truffle and the venison with pepper sauce and red fruits. Truly excellent prices in relation to the very high quality. We will come back to visit you with great pleasure. Thank you very much

My parents and I had lunch here, and it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We were delighted throughout the experience, and everyone was so kind and welcoming.

A wonderful restaurant that lives up to its name. The service was excellent and the menu is really well designed. We had the Umbrian menu that showcased local dishes and produce. The simple dishes were as excellent as the complex. For example, as just one part of the antipasto there was a sublime fried bread with olive oil and garlic that exemplified the best flavours of garlic and olive oil. The pasta primi was served in dishes with lids that were removed with a flourish and the chef personally shaved what seemed like a whole truffle onto the hot pasta. The scent was wonderful. The secondi of pork and roast pear was also delicious. As a really good idea they also included not one but two! Generous glasses of the local wine which complemented the meal perfectly. We have had meals elsewhere that were twice as much and half as good. Best to book in advance

Luogo molto piccolo ma curato ed unico. Cibi ben preparati e serviti con cura. Consigliato vivamente. Molto buoni,benché cibo semplice, gli strengozzi alla spoletina.
