Found it by chance for a quick lunch in Città della Pieve. A revelation: freshly baked bread, excellent ingredients, and a very kind and friendly owner in a truly welcoming little place. Highly recommended; try it and believe it!

Here at Pizzicagnolo in Città della Pieve, they don't mess around: raw ingredients of touching quality and an addictive schiacciata. Forget franchises and tourist traps; this is the true taste of provincial Italy. Unbeatable value and a friendly service that makes you feel at home. You'll want to come back until they run out of flour.

Truly a gem. A small but welcoming place. It's cold outside, you walk in, and a 1970s stove welcomes you into a sweet warmth. The owner, a friendly and approachable guy, immediately puts you at ease. The bread, I discover, is baked fresh. The dough is made in-house with local flours. Exceptional. Various high-quality side dishes paired perfectly... I had the capocollo with Tuscan pecorino and sun-dried tomatoes, which tasted magical. Craft beers on tap. Prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality of the food. Truly a place to remember.

A wonderful discovery in the city center, during a stroll through Città della Pieve. Excellent quality ingredients, served with promptness and courtesy by a friendly artisan breadmaker. The bread is actually made by him and baked fresh. Good draft beer from a local brewery. Congratulations!!

Tiny place, we stumbled upon it by chance and it was a fantastic discovery!
What can I say? The food was excellent, even the girls enjoyed it. If you're passing through Città della Pieve, I recommend stopping by.

I have to say the truth is a little corner of paradise, the kind owner offers these focaccias made to order (I didn't expect it at all) with top quality products and minimal waiting times, I warmly recommend it

At Pizzicagnolo, the stuffed schiacciate are a wonderful journey through the flavors of Umbrian tradition. The fillings are incredibly delicious, with the magical caramelized onion sauce blending with the goodness of local cured meats. DON'T MISS THIS CORNER OF PARADISE and the kindness of the owner!! ❤️
