23/04/2025: A good place to get local food or snacks. We had a couple of panini with different local cured hams and the experience was enjoyable. Prices are standard throughout such shops. The owner was cordial and helpful, even presenting some pecorino samples when we asked about the product.

01/06/2025: We just arrived to Tuscany that day and we were so tired and hungry from driving, and we stopped at the first driveway to find something to eat, and it was the driveway to this restaurant. At first I was afraid it was a Michelin star restaurant, and we will not get seated, but they took us in, served us very quickly, made sure to cook a 'special' pasta for the kid. Even though they are known for steak, we had pasta and side dishes of vegetables, and it was amazing. Best ragu and fresh pasta of my life. We will be sure to come back for steak -with a reservation

24/02/2025: I Parolai è un tapas bar allestito con gusto in un locale dalle mura antiche, con un ottimo connubio fra classico e moderno. Mi ci sono recato un sabato sera tardi per bere un buon drink con la mia compagna e le mie aspettative non sono state affatto deluse. L'ambiente è vivace, nella serata in cui ci siamo capitati c'era un DJ set con una selezione di musica vintage ed il locale era molto movimentato. Nonostante il grande afflusso di clienti siamo stati serviti prontamente ed i cocktail che abbiamo scelto preparati con cura. Personalmente ho provato un cocktail molto fresco a base di ottimo gin Senensis e basilico, per poi proseguire con uno spicy margarita al mango (la purea di mango, ben dosata, bilanciava delicatamente l'acidità del cocktail). L'estro del barman è evidente e considerata la qualità pregevole dei distillati utilizzati per le preparazioni, il ricarico è sorprendentemente basso. La prossima volta che tornerò a Siena conto di tornare in questo locale perchè la scelta di drink è ampia e originale, con proposte di alto livello su vini, bollicine e distillati. Se ne avrò la possibilità, mi fermerò anche a cena per provare la loro cucina.

14/01/2025: Locale vicino Porta OVILE ben curato dal proprietario dove abbiamo festeggiato l'anno nuovo con piatti di alta qualità con prodotti di materia superiore .....il tutto bagnato da una bottiglia di champagne con servizio ai tavoli da parte delle cameriere gentile e professionale!!! Prezzo finale ONESTO da ritornare !!!! COMPLIMENTI!!!

03/06/2025: We were here for my birthday. The service was really impeccable, they were really good at explaining the various dishes and were always kind and helpful. They even gave us a small pre-dessert for the occasion. Beautiful presentations of the dishes. Everything was very good from the appetizers to the first courses and especially the cheek! We will be back to try the tasting menus next time!

The presentation of the dishes clearly shows how much attention has been paid to visual appeal—but it doesn’t stop there. The excitement built up by the dramatic presentation explodes the moment the food touches your tongue. It's unbelievably delicious! In particular, the use of olive oil is masterful—perfectly balanced with the food. The pasta, rich with olive oil, is not greasy at all. The steak is also served with a drizzle of olive oil, enhancing its flavor and creating a taste that’s beyond description. But it’s not just the food that stands out—the staff are passionate and incredibly kind. If I ever return to Montepulciano, I will revisit this restaurant without a moment’s hesitation.

14/05/2025: If you want to come and eat in Monteriggioni, Le Torri is a guarantee. Typical Tuscan dishes but also various fish options. Elegant without being pretentious, the place is a perfect balance between tradition and refinement, with a warm atmosphere and attention to detail. The service is attentive, discreet and friendly. Sergio is always ready to accommodate every request and make his customers feel at home.

10/05/2025: Owner and staff very kind, friendly and helpful. We arrived in Monteriggioni in the early afternoon just after 2pm, even though it was late they cordially welcomed us for lunch. Excellent cuisine with quality products. Sergio the owner kindly managed to reserve a table for us in the evening of the same day despite the full reservations for dinner (same day). 13/04/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questa trattoria toscana piatti veramente ben eseguiti, clima molto caldo. tavoli in condivisione con altri clienti poi la regina in questo posto è la Fiorentina, Ottima! possibilità di scegliere il peso della carne. Consiglio di prenotare con molto anticipo.

30/03/2025: Il locale, molto caratteristico, è piccolissimo e quindi costringe i clienti a mangiare gomito a gomito con i tavoli attaccati. Sui tavoli vieni messo un foglio di carta paglia e questo è il servizio con dei prezzi da ristorante di gran classe. La fiorentina, alla brace è molto buona e viene servita anche ben cotta. Ottima an che la salsiccia sempre alla brace. Deliziosi i cantucci al vin santo di fine pasto. Il servizio è molto veloce. Il ristorante applica due turni con prenotazione. Il secondo alle 14.30, ed il primo alle 12.30. Da notare che se arrivi qualche minuti prima delle 12.30 non ti fanno asolutamente entrare. Per quanto sopra e in relazione ai prezzi praticati non ritorneremo certamente in questo locale. .

30/05/2025: A 10/10 dinner!! I came here with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn't have made a better choice. Wonderful atmosphere immersed in the Tuscan hills, few tables and very kind service, attentive to every need. Impeccable food, traditional Tuscan offerings but creatively revisited by the chef, much appreciated. A place where we will definitely return and that we will recommend!

27/05/2025: We decided to have dinner here based on the good reviews, and it was simply wonderful. The food was soooo good, the service incredibly friendly, and the whole atmosphere was dreamy! Now that's what I call hospitality! We had various dishes from the regional menu, and everyone enjoyed everything, absolutely everything. At the end of the evening, the chef himself came to our table to ask if we had enjoyed our meal! 12 out of 10!!! It's definitely worth coming here!

10/05/2025: Sunday 4 May lunch for 4: The first course of pasta topped with courgettes and burrata is tasteless, there are minimal traces of courgettes and burrata, a dish that turned out really badly. The ribollita is a little better, the portion is worth tasting. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for the order, for 4 first courses, so we thought it best not to order second courses or anything else. At the other tables the expected situation seemed equally critical.

20/05/2025: A truly unique place with various rooms and very quiet. Excellent and fast service. Fish dishes of excellent quality and impeccable plating. I highly recommend it

05/05/2025: Very comfortable family run inn. Delicious Tuscan dishes and excellent wine. Service a little slow, but the dishes cooked by the lady are spectacular and carefully prepared. Definitely coming back.

28/04/2025: It is a place for a journey into authentic Tuscan flavours, with a particular interpretation. I had dinner here and returned the next day to try something else. Don't miss the Chianti tuna, the turkey with pistachios and oranges, the crostoni, the tomato soup and the ribollita. For dessert, the saffron and pine nut terrine, without a doubt! All accompanied by a selection of Vernaccia di San Gimignano. Sincere dishes, informal atmosphere and real taste!

03/06/2025: Not recommended for tourists. The menu is in Italian, and when we asked if there was an English translation, we were met with a provocative "why?" After we explained, almost justifying our decision, that we were from Germany and unfortunately didn't speak Italian, we were told that one wouldn't expect to be offered another language in our own country. There was no attempt to help us with the dishes or the menu. Unfortunately, we couldn't translate either due to poor internet reception. As a restaurateur who works in an area that partially relies on tourism, I find the reaction inappropriate and not very hospitable. Therefore, we had no desire to pay for something we didn't understand, so we left. We can't give a review of the food.

18/05/2025: It's a great restaurant! We had an excellent meal and the owner's son recommended both the food and the wine! Without a doubt a must-stop to enjoy the good tea Poliziana!!
