We ate here on February 17th during our trip to Tuscany. The pizzas were delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent. A great place to eat if you're visiting Siena.

I like the pizza here, personally best in the town. And staff is so nice, especially Şebnem, Basil and Mali. I strongly suggest this place.

Pizzeria Alle Scalette, a gem near Florence, was an excellent choice during a day trip to Siena. Located right in front of the bus stop back to Florence, it's incredibly convenient, and despite being a tourist destination, it boasts excellent food at affordable prices. Their pizzas and calzones, in particular, are generously filled with chewy dough and fresh toppings, allowing you to experience the local flavors in every bite. The owner's warm and friendly service keeps you in good spirits throughout the meal, and the generous portions are perfect for satisfying any traveler's hunger. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Siena.

17/04/2026: We were looking for it all day because we didn't remember it being outside of Pienza or its name!!! We finally found it!!! Awesome wines, cheeses and cold cuts!!! And pork chops!!!😍😍

03/04/2026: Took a cooking class. It was fabulous. Everything. From the owners to the class to the food and thr atmosphere.
03/04/2026: Lovely family run restaurant with the most delicious food in the area. What makes this unique vs all the many other great local restaurants is the special family approach to each dish. Truffles are hunted, vegetables, oil and wine from their own production. This is a must visit. The owners are wonderful to share time with. Even take a cooking class with them to get a true Tuscan experience. We will definitely return!
