04/08/2026: Excellent osteria located near the historic center of Chiusi. Highly recommended. The food is very good, the service is friendly and fast, and the price is absolutely reasonable (considering the high quality of the food). Oh, and the desserts are delicious and, of course, delicious. Unfortunately, the Tuscan cheesecake—which is sensational—is on the small side (or rather, perhaps it's the right size, but since it's sensational, as I mentioned earlier, a few more inches wouldn't have hurt). The coffee at the end of the meal (ask for it even if you don't drink it; it's truly worth it, especially considering how it's served) makes for a satisfying end to your visit to Chiusi.

04/08/2026: Extensive menu with some reinterpretations, carefully presented. Excellent service, professional and friendly staff. For four people, seven different courses, a side dish, water, and coffee, €115. Hard to find value for money. Highly recommended.

12/08/2026: Truly excellent food and exceptionally friendly service, with staff who take the necessary time for each guest. For example, the next table was treated to a detailed wine consultation. Although the restaurant is located directly on the street and therefore has a higher noise level, the background music makes it less noticeable. The restaurant is popular, so making a reservation through the restaurant's website is advisable.

11/08/2026: Truly excellent restaurant just outside the walls of San Gimignano. A very pleasant atmosphere and friendly, helpful service. We tried the Fiorentina steak, aged for 54 days, and it was simply fabulous: incredibly tender, flavorful, and beautifully aged. Perfectly cooked, the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The rest of the dinner was also top-notch. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone passing through San Gimignano looking for a good steak, especially if you appreciate dry-aged meat. I would gladly return.

27/07/2026: Six of us arrived at 8, maybe even a little earlier, and they served us at 9:37. They sat us between their dog bowls and the bathrooms, on the gravel, in what is most likely a customer parking lot, but which out of greed they transformed into an outdoor seating area. For a good hour we felt like we were abandoned with a still bottle and a fizzy one on a table outside in a parking lot between the dog bowl and the bathrooms. Then at 9:37 the appetizers arrived: mediocre cured meats, including mortadella... on a bed of out-of-season fruit... (it should have been specified on the menu), and around 10 the other orders arrived. Some good, some less so, like the cheese and pear ravioli that they probably would have sent back to a hospital. The desserts were sold out, the rest were consistent with the above. Getting the apple cake wrong is sacrilegious. What I received was terrible sponge cake. Quality with a now-decadent scoop of something resembling ice cream. The apples? Maybe they slipped away, understandably. We would have done the same, but instead we went to pay the bill, where, despite holding up our table's order slip, the owner (?) asked us what we'd ordered, after we corrected him a couple of times about the quantity of the drinks. I'm sure we've had the wrong evening. But faced with such poor quality, an apology or some gesture of empathy would have sufficed... too bad, I'll definitely leave my table free for some passing tourist.

14/08/2026: One of the best restaurants in whole Italy. Food is awesome, steak are delicious, pizza taste like heaven and tiramisu and other sweets are one of it kind. On top of that service level is on highest standard. Don’t believe in any notes below 5 stars. Just come and taste

11/08/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance, coming from the province of Pisa. The staff were very kind and attentive, especially to our little girl. The appetizer was plentiful and very good. The first course was pici. Cacio e pepe for me, Cinta Senese for my partner, and ragù for my daughter. All three were excellent. Stop here if you're passing through. P.S.: The Montepulciano wine, of course...excellent!

22/08/2026: We came here on the specific recommendation of my daughter, who had tried it, and we were also satisfied. We had a Florentine steak, excellent both in terms of cooking and seasoning. We also tried the "pappa al pomodoro." Exceptional food, competent, smiling, and friendly staff. I recommend it!

20/08/2026: Good food, very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the starters are a bit pricey. Pasta with tomato sauce costs €16, while pasta-based starters can reach a whopping €19.

19/08/2026: Fantastic experience! I had a wonderful meal at Il Cassero in Castiglione d'Orcia. A warm and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel immediately at ease. The dishes are prepared with quality products, and you can truly taste the care taken in the selection of ingredients and preparation. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic local cuisine. I'll definitely be back!

22/08/2026: We stopped at this shop on the recommendation of the greengrocer at the market, and I must say it was truly spot-on. Exquisite local products, local wines that I can't even begin to tell you...divine❤️ If you truly want to enjoy Pienza's gastronomy and typical products, you'll find them in this shop, along with courtesy and attentive service. The prices are fair because GOOD products come at a price, but with satisfaction. We bought porchetta, a simply exquisite semi-aged Pienza pecorino cheese, 5 liters of wine, and some jams to pair with the cheese...all delicious. Highly recommended. Thank you.

15/08/2026: Today was my husband and I's last day in Val d'Orcia, searching for delicious local cheeses and products to take home to Alto Adige. The family who runs this shop was incredibly welcoming! We left our hearts there. They assisted us admirably with our purchases, from cheese tastings to wines and cured meats, accompanied by warm personalities and lots of laughter (perhaps from the two glasses of wine we tasted) ❤️ If you're looking for excellent quality products, you absolutely must come here! 20/08/2026: The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are kind and helpful, but unfortunately, I can't express a positive opinion about the food. The dishes, despite their inviting appearance, turned out to be rather disappointing: undercooked pizza dough, rubbery mozzarella, and practically charred burger. You eat because you're hungry, but certainly not to enjoy what's called "the best pizza in Chianciano." The desserts, unfortunately, didn't improve the situation either: they're packaged and frozen, decidedly unsatisfactory to end a dinner. It's a shame, because the place is pleasant and the staff certainly deserves a compliment for their kindness and helpfulness, but as for the food, I expected much more.

12/08/2026: A pizzeria with a simple and informal atmosphere, its minimalist decor leaves room for what really matters: delicious food and friendly service. The pizza is excellent, and the jumbo version is a true blessing for big eaters! Kudos to the pizza chef for his skill, evident in every bite, and a special thanks to the lady in the dining room for welcoming us and offering us helpful advice. Eating a fantastic jumbo pizza with a beautiful view in the background leaves you smiling. Finger-licking good!

16/08/2026: A nightmare. But some people like nightmares, so... The atmosphere was a kind of cave, with an adjoining kitchen and a fan blowing cooking air. Shared tables with a space like a farm. Zero privacy, zero enjoyment of the decent dishes. What can I say? We gorged, paid, and ran away. Never again.
