A good ice cream shop, but I've had much better artisanal ice cream. But overall, I'd say it's good.

Stopped by here on the way from Sienna back to Florence. I love mango gelato, and I find that the flavor of truly ripe mango it is one of the hardest to retain in gelato. This place absolutely nailed it. The best of the 10 or so highly-rated gelato shops I visited this month.

Best ice-cream ever, could not get anything less than the XL size to pick 5 flavours among the MANY amazing ones they have. You should make sure to stop at least twice so you get the chance to try as much as possible.

17/07/2026: I recommend this place where we went today for the excellent meat, the exceptional sandwich, and then we even managed to try the truly delicate ricotta coccole dessert with walnuts and honey. Take a stroll around Chianciano's historic center with its beautiful views and then savor this place's delicacies. It alone is worth the trip. The staff is truly attentive.
22/06/2026: Excellent food, tried both the appetizers and sandwiches. Friendly staff. Dishes are freshly cooked; you have to wait a bit, but it's worth it. I recommend the Amaro 30 erbe.

Bar Osteria La Pievina

06/08/2026: We spontaneously tried this fantastic osteria. Highly recommended! Homemade pici, delicious secondi, and the dessert was simply divine… very friendly hosts! We hadn't made a reservation, but since we arrived early, we got the only table that wasn't reserved. It was a real treat and a pleasure to eat there! The location right on the road wasn't a problem at all, as there was very little traffic. The trip is definitely worth it! Highly recommended.
02/08/2026: A historic venue, under new management since spring, the menu offers fewer dishes than the previous one, but the quality and authenticity remain the same.
