A warm welcome and authentic, delicious home-style cooking. For pepper lovers, don't miss the "pici ai pepi," thick, fresh Tuscan spaghetti with a rich cheese and pepper sauce. The eggplant ravioli are also superb.

My wife and I had dinner at this osteria. We ordered two dishes of pigi, one with garlic and one with cacio e pepe. After 10-12 minutes, we were served. The lady explained to us that the pigi were freshly prepared by her husband, and also how the various sauces were prepared. However, I can only say that this osteria serves the best Pigi in Siena. Exceptional.

The homemade pici and the sauces were delicious. The fried porcini mushrooms, which were fresh that day, were also very good. The staff was friendly and the location was nice. I recommend this restaurant.

Tiny restaurant with seating outside in an alley. My wife was suddenly 2 inches taller than me seated uphill! They were really busy, so the service was initially a bit slow, but after ordering, dishes turned up quickly. Deep fried porcini strips were a revelation as an antipasto, and the pasta with truffles was sublime.

Wonderful treat of a restaurant with the best staff and outstanding food! We dined in what felt like someone’s dining room. The wine was fantastic, great service and very fair prices. Highly recommended. Make a reservation and enjoy.

11/08/2026: We had a very nice evening at the restaurant of the Villa San Lucchese: lovely summer terrace, good food and very welcoming staff.
08/08/2026: Without a doubt, this was the best restaurant we ate at on this trip to Italy. The price was very reasonable, affordable, not cheaper than other restaurants, but even cheaper than a Sicilian restaurant we ate at in Roma. The food was excellent.
