Truly excellent platter of cheeses and pici all'aglione. How excellent the service, both professional and friendly. Those who were with me at lunch said that the wine served was the best in the whole Val d'Orcia. Advised

We ate divinely. The environment is furnished in an original way. The owner is friendly and nice But... I cannot give 5 stars for a detail that is out of place in all that perfection, and which I have incomprehensibly found to be common in several restaurants in Tuscany. Is it possible that you can't get the toilet seats changed? They are cracked and the hardware is all oxidized. They give a very bad impression and suggest a lack of attention to hygiene. These are details that are embarrassing to have to point out to staff or owners. Either one gets there on their own, or they don't have the sensitivity to understand the annoyance it generates

Restaurant chosen thanks to the numerous positive reviews, obviously a little skeptical because the written opinion does not always reflect reality, unfortunately. Young, friendly and well-prepared staff, we ordered and without waiting a long time we were served. In addition to a mixed platter of cold cuts and cheeses, we ordered 2 varieties of typically Tuscan pici: with garlic and crumbs: delicious dishes with excellent quality ingredients. We end with 2 coffees and some chat with other customers at the adjacent tables (since the rooms are a bit small the possibility of socializing is greater), we paid a very honest bill and continued our sightseeing tour. Personally, we recommend this place because we had a great time

Locale tipico ne L Centro del paese di buona fattura antipasti toscani di alto livello come i primi da provare il coccio Buono il servizio veloce e puntuale. Buona la Fiorentina ed il pane . Servizio attento un pochino strettino nei spazi . Parcheggio inesistente buono i dolci e gli amari Ottima cantina

Mangiare in Val d'Orcia è sempre una certezza, così come in tutta la Toscana. Ma sono i dettagli che fanno la differenza! Un'accoglienza familiare, la simpatia che contraddistingue il toscano ed una gentilezza e disponibilità unica, ti rende una cena speciale e ti fa sentire come se fossi a casa tua. Il resto lo fa il cibo, pici spettacolari! Devo ringraziare di cuore il responsabile di sala che ha accolto la mia indecisione su 2 piatti di pici differenti, proponendomi un bis, così sono riuscito ad assaggiare sia i pici all'aglione che i pici al coccia ciò, entrambi fantastici. Buonissimo anche il ragù toscano e la ribollita. A seguire abbiamo optato per la trippa toscana, e mai scelta fu così azzeccata, ed un'ottima tagliata. Il tutto bagnato da una bottiglia di vino Nobile di Montepulciano. La dolce conclusione ad una cena così qualitativa è stato il 'secondo tiramisù più buono al mondo (mi è rimasto il dubbio di quale sia il primo...) e due cantucci gentilmente offerti dalla casa a dir poco eccezionali! Cena memorabile, complimenti continuate così!
