12/08/2026: Pleasant surprise! We were looking for a quiet place for dinner and we had a great time. The grilled fish was truly worth it, and the octopus linguine was flavorful and cooked to perfection. You can taste when the fish is treated properly. Fair prices. Recommended!

09/08/2026: We found the place by chance in the early afternoon and liked it so much that we came back for dinner in the evening! We were with our dog and they treated him like a human! We also welcome the tattooed waitress (unfortunately we didn't get her name)! She was very nice and friendly! We weren't disappointed with the food either! We can only recommend it to everyone! 🫶🫶🫶🫵🫵🫶🫶🫶

09/07/2026: An employee from a winery recommended this wine bar to us so we could taste some regional wines from different wineries. The service was very friendly and attentive, and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the wines. We each tasted three wines and were able to specify what kind of wines we were interested in. The wines were very well selected, tasted great, and were accompanied by olives and nachos. It was good value for money. Afterwards, we received recommendations for other wineries and had a very enjoyable time overall. We sat outside, and it's worth noting that there's a moderately busy road right next to it. It didn't bother us, but if you're sensitive to noise, you might want to sit inside.

20/08/2026: A truly pleasant experience, in one of the most beautiful settings in Castellina in Chianti. The restaurant is located right in the town's main square, offering both indoor and outdoor dining, in an atmosphere that instantly evokes Tuscan flavors. The service is one of its strong points: the staff is friendly, welcoming, and above all professional, always present without ever being intrusive. A special mention goes to Andrea, the owner, a truly fantastic person: always smiling, helpful, and attentive to every detail, from the quality of the food to the attentive service. The passion behind the restaurant is clearly evident, and that makes all the difference. The prices are absolutely in line with the location and, above all, the overall experience offered. A place where you don't just go to eat, but where you feel welcomed and want to return. Highly recommended!

16/08/2026: Fantastic dinner at Osteria il Re Gallo! The service is wonderful, and the people who work there are truly special: you can feel the passion they put into what they do. The restaurant is located in a beautiful square in Castellina in Chianti, with a unique setting that makes everything even more special. We felt welcomed with open arms from the first moment. A full five stars and my sincerest compliments to the entire staff. We'll definitely be back!

13/07/2026: We've visited Radicondoli for two years in a row and the Nazionale has been consistently fantastic. It's reasonably priced with a great menu. We've visited at various times of day and enjoyed cornetti and coffee for breakfast, day drinks (you have to when you're on holiday 😄) and evening meals. There's a great local vibe to it but you're made to feel welcome always. They've squeezed us in for an evening meal when they were super busy. Whilst I'm trying to learn basic Italian and I do try to order in Italian, I'm still rubbish at it and they are so polite and friendly in helping me order. Drinks are nice and strong too 😄

12/08/2026: A very casual yet tidy place. Authentic Tuscan cuisine, generous (perhaps too much so) and tasty, at excellent prices. Plenty of variety and a very homey atmosphere, with an open kitchen. The service is quite basic but still good; the waitress, perhaps, wasn't at her best; she was a bit gruff, but polite. The atmosphere is very simple, nothing particularly elegant; the food is clean and adequate. Overall, a good place for lunch during your trips to Chianciano and the surrounding area.

06/08/2026: We spontaneously tried this fantastic osteria. Highly recommended! Homemade pici, delicious secondi, and the dessert was simply divine… very friendly hosts! We hadn't made a reservation, but since we arrived early, we got the only table that wasn't reserved. It was a real treat and a pleasure to eat there! The location right on the road wasn't a problem at all, as there was very little traffic. The trip is definitely worth it! Highly recommended.

12/08/2026: Run away! This restaurant is far too touristy; it's not Italy. The head waiter is extremely unpleasant, he mocks tourists, and he mocked us (a gay couple). He also tried to intimidate us and humiliated us until we left (because we politely pointed out that the antipasti wasn't as described on the menu). There are hundreds of restaurants in Siena, but don't choose this one: it's by far the worst we've been to in Italy.

10/08/2026: Casa Tua is one of those restaurants you always return to with great pleasure and that, every time, manages to surprise. The quality of the ingredients is truly exceptional, with a special mention for the fish: incredibly fresh and top-notch. The menu is extremely varied, refined, and never boring, with intriguing dishes from both land and sea, and pairings that intrigue even those who, like me, love to try something new. It's precisely this variety, combined with consistent quality, that makes it a restaurant you never tire of. A special mention goes to Emanuele, the owner, who runs Casa Tua with exquisite skill, great professionalism, attention to detail, and a passion that shines through in every detail. It's a restaurant I recommend and will continue to recommend to everyone, and one I can't wait to return to. Personally, I believe Casa Tua can confidently compete with some of the best restaurants not only in Italy, but internationally as well. A wonderful place, where quality, research, and passion meet, and where you truly feel like nothing is left to chance. Absolutely worth experiencing and, above all, rediscovering.

17/04/2026: My 13-year-old review needed updating to say that things have improved after all this time. A varied and imaginative menu that doesn't neglect Tuscan tradition. High-quality products, expertly and skillfully cooked, tasty yet delicate. Elisa is a thoughtful and kind hostess, as well as a first-rate chef. A well-stocked wine cellar and delicious desserts. Excellent value for money.

22/08/2026: A restaurant serving traditional Sienese cuisine in the city center. While the place is very beautiful and the service was very kind and even friendly (we were served quickly), it was somewhat shocking (for two Italian tourists, not foreigners) to notice the insane prices of the dishes and how they were served so differently depending on the type of customer. Let me explain: we ordered two plates of pici at a whopping €15-17 each (so quite high prices, but I'll leave that aside). In any case, our pici arrived in two mini-dishes, the size of which was more like an appetizer than a full-sized portion. At first, you think these are the (very small) portions set by the restaurant, so even if reluctantly, you go ahead... Until, in the meantime, some regulars arrived at the next table (you could tell by their familiarity with the entire staff) and ordered the SAME dishes we did, which, however, were served on plates and in portions shamelessly larger than ours (second photo, just to illustrate the difference in size). Those portions at least justified the price, unlike those of our paltry dishes. Now, I understand preferential treatment compared to friends or regulars, and I understand the need to earn it, especially if you work in a city and a sector heavily tied to tourism. But I'd like to remind restaurateurs that tourists aren't all born yesterday, and if they have even the slightest eye for certain details (very trivial ones, like seeing the plates of the customers sitting at the table next to theirs being passed around), then it's obvious they feel cheated and certainly don't care much about the warm welcome, which in retrospect only smacks of utter hypocrisy. In short, it was a meal that started well and ended very bitterly and unpleasantly; we felt a bit cheated (and significantly lighter on the wallet without being all that full), despite the smiles on our faces.

20/06/2026: Good, typical Tuscan cuisine. The fried egg with truffles is a must-try. The rabbit and the stuffed pasta were also very good. Beautiful location in the heart of the old town with outdoor seating on the piazza. Friendly service, which, without complaint, moved our table settings first from outside to inside and later back outside again when it started to rain.
