We had a very nice evening at the restaurant of the Villa San Lucchese: lovely summer terrace, good food and very welcoming staff.

Without a doubt, this was the best restaurant we ate at on this trip to Italy. The price was very reasonable, affordable, not cheaper than other restaurants, but even cheaper than a Sicilian restaurant we ate at in Roma. The food was excellent.

Exceptional experience!!! The best restaurant with a view in Poggibonsi, on a terrace overlooking the valley, served with elegance and attention, with refined and traditional cuisine. Fish dishes are also available upon request and it will be a surprise!!! Highly recommended!!!

Ristorante Da Pode all' Hotel Sovestro

18/08/2026: We ate at the hotel restaurant and it was truly excellent value for money. The wines were good, made from their own vineyard, and the views of Tuscany were beautiful. It left a very positive and pleasant impression, and the service was great. Thank you.
14/08/2026: A typical Tuscan restaurant attached to the Sovestro Hotel and Agriturismo in San Gimignano, this very welcoming place offers a large and inviting terrace with a panoramic view of the hills in August. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, the service is prompt, and the cuisine is excellent. The tartare is a must-try, prepared and crafted in front of you with a wide variety of ingredients. It's unique and delicious, but all the other dishes on the menu, which are typically Tuscan, are very good. A wide selection of excellent wines. I highly recommend making a reservation.

05/08/2026: A warm welcome and authentic, delicious home-style cooking. For pepper lovers, don't miss the "pici ai pepi," thick, fresh Tuscan spaghetti with a rich cheese and pepper sauce. The eggplant ravioli are also superb.
