16/11/2025: Terrible experience, a birthday lunch with a set menu and all the food was gone... we only had 2 tortelli left, the last two to be served, and the waiter, while serving 1 each, looked at us and said, "I apologize, maybe I'll be more generous with the next course." Places like this deserve to close down. This is the first and last time I'll eat there, and I strongly advise against it.
13/11/2025: A charming, well-maintained hamlet with a lovely garden. The photos speak for themselves. The Albergaccio restaurant's food is excellent, and in line with the prices. What's truly worthwhile is the restaurant's ambience, which is absolutely authentic and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. To truly enjoy this idyllic setting, it would be wonderful if guests would lower their conversation volume.

30/11/2025: A must for dinner when in Florence. I have to say after spending a week in Florence and eating at a different restaurant, Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I can honestly say. This was the restaurant with the best florentine steak, vegetables, eggplant that I had. If you're spending time in Florence
Have dinner here first. Clean, family owned, delicious food impeccable service. Reasonably priced.

14/11/2025: Great place for a hand crafted cocktail! We talked to the owner who mentioned he opened the bar in the 80’s. He asked what flavors and liquors we liked, then suggested one of his muddled passion fruit masterpieces. Drinks were tasty and it was a fun night supporting a fun local bar.

07/12/2025: Birthday party. 14 of us arrived, table reserved for 9 PM. We sat down at 10 PM and ordered at 10:10 PM. The pizzas began arriving in threes from 11 PM until 11:30 PM. I can't rate the food because eating a pizza at 11:30 PM is not something you should do. Total bill: €442, €30 per person.
It's a shame because the concept behind some of the pizzas could have been interesting. The desserts were excellent.

12/12/2025: The sandwiches are good, but not exceptional. €12 per sandwich is quite a lot. There's no price list, so the price is known after purchase, depending on the type and quantity of ingredients. A plus is that they're large and freshly made in front of you. They also let you try them before you choose the ingredients. And what would take one or two people here is done by four people.
12/12/2025: The price is a bit high for the quality, and the seasoning isn't particularly good. It's salty, and even a big eater wouldn't be able to finish it all.
Personally, it's expensive everywhere anyway, so I don't think it needs to be here.

18/11/2025: A beautiful underground speakeasy, welcoming you into an elegantly retro setting. A vast selection of whiskeys. The cocktails are excellent, as is the service.
A must-try.

The quality is consistently excellent, from the fresh and varied bread to the cakes and pastries, which are captivating from the first bite. 30/11/2025: Carbonara made with cream and tasted awful (the worst I've ever had). The fries were full of oil, and the cutlet was partially undercooked. I wasn't entirely satisfied with the food, even though the service was excellent in a really convenient location just steps from the city center. The price was high for the quality of the food.

Carlo, the owner, welcomed us with genuine warmth and cooked us the most delicious dishes we've tasted since arriving in Italy. Amidst the aromas, flavors, and smiles, we shared Neapolitan stories and sentiments, telling him we'd soon be leaving. It was an encounter full of flavor and emotion, the kind you'll treasure. You can tell this is a place run by its owner, with a passion that shines through in every detail. Best of all, the value for money is exceptional, too good for food and service of this level. A truly special corner of Florence.
