08/07/2025: Overall the worst place we have been in Florence. The waitstaff are nice enough. Bread no olive oil or balsamic. Steak ok but just dumped on the table. Not that it matters to them, but we won’t be back.

15/06/2025: Worst pasta I have had in italy. Not authenitic at all. Cacio e pepe tasted like packet alfredo mix and I didnt even order alfredo. Menu also said it was served from a cheese wheel which it wasnt it didnt even have cheese. Big disappointment for our last night in Florence. Staff ask you how the food is and u complain and they dont even care.

18/06/2025: Exceptional experience at Angelo and Andrea. It is one of the few restaurants where everything is superb from the appetizers, especially the raw ones, to the first courses, special mention for the spaghettoni with clams, to the desserts with the Catalan cream and the super zuppa inglese. For the second courses..... we threw in the towel.... we will return.

12/05/2025: the place is small and super well looked after, in my opinion also with extreme taste, nice, professional and attentive staff, the top class chef, the excellent raw materials, everything I tasted left me really enthusiastic!...To be repeated...

14/06/2025: Nice and cozy restaurant, good and honest food, verry affordable. Steak Florentine was extremely tender.

22/06/2025: The only bar open on Sunday, with a lot of products available. Passing by on the motorbike they prepared us some delicious and fresh schiacciata of the day, with cured meats sliced ​​on the spot.... Little choice of cheeses but it was more than good. Very honest prices (4.50€ for a schiacciata with cured meat and cheese) and water 1€. Highly recommended.... They also have many pastries and ice creams as well as various seats both inside and outside.

09/06/2025: Food was decent in terms of authenticity. The rest? Not so much. We aren’t big eaters, but still left hungry after spending nearly €100. Everything came in appetiser portions, the pho was probably a smaller sized meal. A so-called main of chicken with rice for €16 was about five small bites, the spring rolls was served in 6 praline sized bites for what a large panini would cost - no exaggeration. To top it off, there’s a €2 per person service fee, essentially for a seat and some plates. We had many meals in Florence that had been a much more enjoyable experience. Would certainly not be back here

07/06/2025: Amazing and authentic Pho. The soup and broth was so good. Recommend the beef pho and the chicken pho if you don't eat beef. The staff was super nice.

15/05/2025: ZEROCALCARE signing sessions. He and the publisher Bao are very nice and punctual. Only one star instead for the organization of the event by the bookstore. Divided into 3 steps: drawing 15.00-18.00, 18.00-19.00 talk, 19.30-24.00 signing session. I leave home at 6.50, train and off I go, I arrive at 7.40 and I am 63rd in line (a gentleman contacted us 3 times), opening at 9 and delivery of the passes (bracelets) with a number written on them. They say that for the 1st step there are only 75 passes, I'll go back!! but when it's my turn they're already sold out 🤔 (I'm 15 and I'm ashamed to do myself justice), I'm the 6th excluded so I have to settle for the signing session. I feel bad😩, I get angry😡, I repress it thinking that the important thing will be to meet him. I enter school in 3rd period, I go out, I eat a sandwich on the fly and at 2pm I get back in line outside the library for the 6pm talk. At 4pm everyone stands, otherwise "we'll take up too much space" says one of the security guards. Finally I go in and enjoy the chat. They say NOW EVERYONE OUT AND WHO HAS A PASS FOR THE FIRMADILLO GET IN LINE FOR THE TIME GROUPS WRITTEN ON THE BRACELET. I go out, convinced that I will return almost immediately since I am number 6 in the first group, and here is another injustice, the line (60 people per hour) has already formed while the talk was taking place, I am second to last... My mother has joined me, worried about the time of returning to the train, she argues with the 2 security "gorillas" who do not enforce the order of the numbers assigned in the morning, the response of one of them is I DON'T CARE AT ALL ABOUT THE NUMBER. I am back inside to meet him, finally, even if I am the last one in the third time I have been in line since this morning. I look at the time and if everything goes well we will be able to take the 9.14 train and return home by 10pm... the director of the bookstore arrives and takes me by the hand and makes me climb among the first, perhaps she has understood that something has gone wrong? I thank her, but this is just not right, 3 times in line despite the numbered bracelet. What should be security, of indecent rudeness. I arrive home at 9 pm, very tired but still happy. Because to get justice you have to raise your voice, why?

14/06/2025: I was there this evening with my partner for dinner...what can I say, a simple but refined place, excellent food and discreet but very attentive service. The homemade bread and fresh pasta are a sign of care and love!! We will return as soon as possible

05/07/2025: The only ones complaining are the little mads who are outraged that they were not welcomed with torn bombs and a whole fleet of trolleys xD The place is good, for 30 euros in 2025 with two people you leave very, very well fed (unless someone needs half a slaughtered pig to eat, then you can ignore this aspect). It is quite loud, but this is Florence and the place is in one of the narrow streets, where every now and then a scooter drives by or a local walks by and greets the staff. The service is nice, entrance from the street during the tourist season without a queue in the afternoon. The waitresses are energetic, if they could they would probably talk to people all day. The pizza is good - simply good. There is no need to say more. When I am in Florence I will definitely visit this place again. It has the charm of such a simple, roadside, but good Italian restaurant with good pizza. Certainly 5 stars, and if someone complains, it's only a little girl with a bubbler who didn't get water or just a regular little onion who wanted to go and just eat, with grace leave 15 euros and be the prince on the estate, the only customer around whom the staff has to jump and dance. I definitely recommend!

09/07/2025: This morning I was in a bad mood. I went into this place because I wanted a quick lunch. I found an excellent schiacciata at an unbeatable price, the owners were kind, friendly, and welcoming, and the atmosphere was quiet and friendly, thanks in part to their loyal customers who you can chat with! I left in a completely different mood, feeling welcomed and happy. I'll be back many times, even to fill the slots for my new membership! Thank you.

25/04/2025: Excellent wine and sandwiches too. the strong point is the quality/price ratio: it is difficult to find such an honest business in this area of ​​Florence (and perhaps in the whole city), highly recommended! The service and the place are both very pleasant!

25/05/2025: It's good, but the prices are disproportionate. The cheapest tea is a rip-off at €8.50, and so on, up to €20. When in my city it costs a typical €2, and in the store in Cantabria, there are thousands of infusions, all natural and artisanal, you can't fool people with disproportionate prices. Drinking tea, which isn't expensive, can't have a luxury price!

30/04/2025: Sono stata in questo posto con mio figlio per fargli provare un'esperienza di degustazione. Il locale è molto bello, con teiere in esposizione e una bellissima vetrina di dolci, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, subito dopo Ponte Vecchio, e la nostra permanenza è stata piacevole, così come il servizio, discreto ed educato. Se dovessi fare un appunto, dato che i prezzi non sono proprio economici ( stiamo pur sempre parlando di tè e infusi!) prevederei porzioni più abbondanti per dolci e salati di accompagnamento.
