16/11/2025: Terrible experience, a birthday lunch with a set menu and all the food was gone... we only had 2 tortelli left, the last two to be served, and the waiter, while serving 1 each, looked at us and said, "I apologize, maybe I'll be more generous with the next course." Places like this deserve to close down. This is the first and last time I'll eat there, and I strongly advise against it.

13/11/2025: A charming, well-maintained hamlet with a lovely garden. The photos speak for themselves. The Albergaccio restaurant's food is excellent, and in line with the prices. What's truly worthwhile is the restaurant's ambience, which is absolutely authentic and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. To truly enjoy this idyllic setting, it would be wonderful if guests would lower their conversation volume.

Alex, the owner, is the kind of guy who makes you feel like you just walked into your best friend’s backyard cookout. Pure good energy, pure good vibes, zero ego. Just an awesome human slinging awesome food. Now the hamburger? Listen. I’m not exaggerating when I say it slapped harder than homesickness at 2 a.m. Juicy, bold, perfectly stacked — the kind of burger that makes you close your eyes for a second like you’re having a spiritual experience. If America had a culinary ambassador, this burger would run for office. The spicy fries? Straight fire — literally and emotionally. Crispy, seasoned like someone actually cared, heat that kisses you instead of punishing you. And the regular fries? Golden perfection. Simple done right. The service? Wonderful. Warm, quick, and low-key soulful. You can tell Alex built this place with heart, not hype. 11/11/2025: We visited this restaurant on a rather crowded evening. There were four of us, and the dining room was very crowded, likely due to the large group. Despite this, the service was courteous and attentive enough considering the situation. The cuisine was decent: good ingredients and dishes presented simply but carefully. Our meal wasn't bad; on the contrary, it lacked the detail that makes a truly memorable dinner. One aspect we didn't appreciate, however, was the ending of the evening: after dessert, we were asked if we wanted coffee, otherwise we would have to leave our table because it was needed for another reservation. I understand the crowd, but it was a request that made us feel a bit pressured and somewhat ruined the atmosphere. In conclusion, an overall decent experience, but room for improvement, especially in terms of time management and the welcoming atmosphere when the place is very busy. It's probably worth trying at a quieter time.

05/09/2025: My wife and I had a blast here. The staff is very kind and friendly and had great suggestions for food and wine. If you are flexible and open to trying some great wine and snacks a must stop when your are in the area. The place is unassuming but a true mix of locals and tourists.

02/11/2025: The place was disappointing. The waitress was nervous and kept banging the cups, the floor was dirty, and even the cappuccino spoon wasn’t clean. Not a good spot for studying. Hope things improve in the future.

06/11/2025: We chose this place, away from the chaos, to experience the true Tuscan cuisine and atmosphere. I have to say, better inside than out...in terms of atmosphere. The cuisine is well-prepared, and we found the flavors we were looking for in the dishes we chose: mixed crostini, potato tortelli with Cinta Senese ragù. I found the service particularly cold from the young group of waiters...not a word, not a chat, not a smile... True Tuscans are chatty and make you laugh...coldness...

06/11/2025: What a disappointment! This restaurant was recommended as traditional by our hotel (their 1st night recommendation was outstanding) so we were excited to try it. The food was average at best. We ordered a couple of appetizers and several entrees and only one was really good. BUT the real clincher of the night was when the server handed us the cc machine to total it out and sign. We looked at him like why are we totaling it out? This is Italy, you're not expected to tip on top (which often we were disappointed by because we wanted to show extra appreciation). Anyway, when my husband totaled out the bill as it came to us, the server ripped the receipt off the machine and threw it at him. We told our hotel about our experience and they were shocked and very disappointed. Go to IL VOLO for a GREAT traditional meal!!!!

20/10/2025: Charming place, excellent food. It's very pleasant to have lunch on the terrace while it's still not cold. The only drawback is the limited parking, but there's nothing they can do about it...

16/11/2025: Great experience! Sometimes choosing randomly and following your gut instinct is helpful 😁...excellent pizza, easy-to-digest pasta, and no evening thirst = knowing your craft. The atmosphere is welcoming, as are the owners, ready to guide you through their culinary experience. It's a great thing that the chef comes out of his comfort zone to ask how the customer is doing. Prices are absolutely competitive compared to the competition. Already bookmarked!

15/11/2025: We arrived without a reservation, asked if there was room, and were told yes and seated without giving us any indication of how long we had to eat. During dinner, the waiter pressured us to leave the table as quickly as possible. We wanted to finish our beer before ordering dessert, but were told we had to hurry because there were other people outside (we'd only been seated 30 minutes). The result? Pizza stuck in our throats, and the feeling of being treated like a paycheck. Just tell them before they let us sit that we'd have to eat quickly, so at least one person could decide whether or not to sit down.

19/10/2025: Best pizza I've ever eaten. The dough is perfect, the staff is incredibly friendly, and you can't help but enjoy it!

11/08/2025: We had a delicious meal at this authentic Italian pizza restaurant. We entered via the outdoor staircase, where three men were preparing the food. We were able to sit on the rooftop terrace, where an enthusiastic young man was serving. With four kids and four adults, we enjoyed pasta and pizza at a surprisingly low price. Highly recommended.
