23/11/2025: With friends, we visited the charming town of Empoli, adorned with Christmas decorations. We stopped for pizza and luckily stumbled upon your place. The pizza dough is amazing, very digestible, and the ingredients used for the toppings are top-notch. We're not from the area, but if we ever return, you'll be our go-to. The dessert was also delicious, so much Nutella in that light wrapper. Not to mention the prices, which are fair. Well done 👏👏👏

23/10/2025: Affordable, high-quality, and above all, good people. Not like some mountain mead sellers who live off their income because they own a shop in the middle of four busy streets but have no idea how to work.
Very short waits, great flexibility with hours, and quality dishes that rival many restaurants.

25/09/2025: I've been to a few restaurants in Italy, but this place has the most familiar and loving feel. Perfect value for money.
Pizza and pasta are very very tasty and the prices are also very fair.
27/07/2025: Fabulous beef ribs, never heard of them before. I tried them like crazy. Well done, well done, well done.
Returned today after a year and the food was excellent. Very friendly and kind. We'll be back every year.

13/10/2025: Highly recommended! The "La Passera" schiaccia costs €7 and is incredibly delicious. Aperol Spritz is €5, and water (0.5l) is €1.50 – really fair for Florence. You can sit comfortably in the square in front and eat, ideal for a short break. The staff is very friendly, and the food comes quickly.
Great spot if you're looking for good food at fair prices in Florence!

17/11/2025: Great pizza! I didn’t like the pasta, and it’s not homemade.
15/11/2025: We arrived without a reservation, asked if there was room, and were told yes and seated without giving us any indication of how long we had to eat. During dinner, the waiter pressured us to leave the table as quickly as possible. We wanted to finish our beer before ordering dessert, but were told we had to hurry because there were other people outside (we'd only been seated 30 minutes). The result? Pizza stuck in our throats, and the feeling of being treated like a paycheck. Just tell them before they let us sit that we'd have to eat quickly, so at least one person could decide whether or not to sit down.

26/10/2025: This small, family-run agriturismo feels like a guest in someone's home—truly fantastic. The pasta is homemade, as are the sauces, and the meat is cooked over an open fireplace. A truly unique place to spend a pleasant and unusual evening.

After 2-3 days of Tuscan binge-eating, on the way home, we were looking for a light schiacciatina for lunch.
We found Jumangi and it was a wonderful surprise.
A wonderful anchovy crouton, which Barbara literally melted over. I then had a sublime tartare, and she had a delicious filled schiacciata. We wanted a light lunch, but the quality encouraged us to order dessert, which was also delicious. All topped off with an excellent house wine and the professionalism and friendliness of the staff.
We were so thrilled that we remembered to take a photo of just the dessert.
We're thinking of returning to Tuscany soon just to eat here.
TOP place! Even the background music.

28/08/2025: This is a wonderfully relaxed place to dine. The fish dishes are particularly recommended. The fact that the people of Castelfiorentino love and recommend this restaurant speaks for itself. Advance reservations are recommended on weekends.

14/10/2025: A phenomenal venue, with a relentless nastiness underneath, at least on weekends. The stage is impressive, and the inside is even better. The guys are truly brilliant. The only drawback is the price. But maybe we were the ones asking for too much.
