Delicious paninis and great service! The staff welcomed us at the door, gave us samples and recommendations for the meats and cheeses, and we asked them to add their recommended toppings on one of our sandwiches and it was delicious!! We got two paninis and really enjoyed the walnut grain bread and stracciatella. I would ask the staff for their recommendations and let them choose the toppings! Super filling and flavorful!

We stopped in mid-afternoon due to a sudden hunger pang... and we didn't eat dinner that evening! 😅 We had two schiacciata with porchetta, stracciatella, and grilled peppers... DIVINE!!! The schiacciata was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and all the ingredients were excellent. But it wasn't just the quality that amazed us, but also the abundance. Highly recommended!

Don’t sleep on this place just because it’s right next to the Duomo in a touristy spot. If you want to have the best sandwich of your life, this is the only panini shop you need to go to! If you’re scrolling Instagram or YouTube or just browsing Google Maps looking for the right sandwich shop, look no further. Panini Toscani will change your life. They let you sample the cheese and meats before you pick, you get to assemble your own sandwich, and everything is delicious. Service is also impeccable, especially for such a small shop. It’s no wonder the feature high on most influencers’ lists!

Best sandwiches we tried in Florence! You are invited to taste first the cheese and meat, chose what would you like in your sandwich, chose the bread and then the veggies and souce. We are going back for another one today ❤️❤️❤️

The BEST sandwich in Florence! If you check social media it will say All’Antico Vinaio…. This is so much better on all levels. The customer service is incredible, they allow/encourage sampling all their meats! They also will put more than 1 meat on the sandwich, they toast the sandwiches, and they genuinely have fun at the job. The owner is there everyday working and making sure it’s all smooth. Cannot recommend more. It’s a must have in Florence.

Shop right in the hub of Florence. They let you try some meats and cheeses when you’re inside and we were very happy with our choices. Also if you have to wait a few minutes to order or for your order to toast there is a wine window right next door to fill the time.

Nice staff, could try different meats and cheeses before ordering. As other reviews said - not the best panini, but still good. Also a bit pricey. The queue can be long!

26/04/2026: Exquisite typical Tuscan restaurant, all the appetizers we tried were fabulous (the pecorino and truffle casserole is highly recommended), the staff were kind, professional, and very friendly and welcoming. We dined there with a group of 7 people and they were extra attentive to the birthday girl!
20/04/2026: Booked this last minute on a Sunday evening and so glad we did. The lady and young man looking after our group of 8 were wonderful and welcoming. The food was delicious - couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!!

17/05/2026: We love the Osteria next door, but we had wanted to try this one too for a while, also because they are recommended by the virtually infallible Slow Food Osterie d'Italia guide (buy it! It's also an app in English). Wonderful, rustic and warm ambience. Competent and lovely service. Excellent food. Lots of locals. Tuscan cuisine but not just the classics, also several creative creations. Very good wine list. Adequate prices. We may still prefer the more "rustic" neighbours, but this is still surely a 5/5 and we'll likely be back, perhaps for "bistecca" or rabioli. A couple of minutes from the Bologna-Firenze highway, worth a stop if you are in the (wonderful) area, but make sure you reserve, it's always packed, and for good reasons. Thanks for an excellent dinner!
