24/08/2025: Hidden away between buildings, this bar is a real gem. Far from the noise of the street, it offers a cozy atmosphere with smooth jazz music and lovely outdoor seating. The service is outstanding – the staff truly care about their guests, making you feel completely at home.

I'm not giving it 5 stars because I didn't find it fair that we ordered a Florentine steak and they didn't show us the weight or present the steak before cooking, as is usually done in other trattorias, restaurants, etc. So we paid on faith for 1.60kg of Florentine steak, which also seemed less... But who knows for sure?!

07/09/2025: We searched for several pizzerias on Google Maps and chose this one; it was a great choice. From the first moment we arrived, the waiters were very friendly and treated us very well. We were craving pizza and got three; they were all delicious. I especially liked the Diavola, with spicy tomato and pepperoni. The restaurant is very close to the Doumo, and has a great location.

The cuisine is traditional and authentic, with handmade pasta, locally-sourced meat and self-produced fruits and vegetables. Every dish we tried was delicious (trust me, I was born in Florence!). Antonella gave us a warm and welcoming vibe. She was attentive and funny. The atmosphere has traditional charm and modern touches. If you’re looking for top-notch Tuscan cuisine and service, this is the spot. We can’t wait to return!

22/07/2025: We enjoyed our food at this restaurant. It was in the city of florence which can be reached by walking there or taking the bus. The restaurant has specially set up watersprays for this hot weather. That was so cooling and was the best part of the restaurant. If you want an italian restaurant with an cooling setting, then this is the right place. Go and enjoy 😉

I always recommend this place to everyone because they've never disappointed me. Be wary of any negative comments; I live an hour away from Florence and am here almost every day for work, and I can confirm that Ristorante Pizzeria Canto De' Nelli is the best you'll find in central Florence. I often eat at this restaurant for work. It's hands down the best restaurant I've found in Florence. The prices are more than fair, and the food and drinks are always top-quality. 10/09/2025: Finally found a pasta that satisfies our cravings - spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino ! We are so glad that they served it here. Although the vongole pasta was not available today, the fettuccini with wild boar sauce that was recommended by the staff, Michele, was awesome too. Michele’s great service and the restaurant atmosphere made us felt comfortable and of course we enjoyed our lunch a lot! We highly recommend visitors to Florence to try out the food here! :)

25/07/2025: As a Neapolitan, I can say I've eaten excellent pizza here. The flavors are certainly different from ours, starting with the dough and the toppings... but I was pleasantly surprised. And you can't even compare the price; it's true that prices are higher than in the south... but here a slice of pizza will easily fill you up.

20/08/2025: I made a reservation on the Fork app because it was recommended by the Michelin Guide. As soon as I walked through the door in the crowded alley, I felt like I was transported to a cozy space with jazz music playing. (I tend to dislike crowded restaurants where I have to eat without thinking.) The restaurant isn't very large, but since they only accept reservations, it wasn't crowded, which was nice. The staff was very friendly. The truffle pasta was also delicious. The service, atmosphere, and taste were all satisfactory. For lunch, a truffle pasta, a glass of Prosecco, a bottle of water, and dessert cost around €50.

16/08/2025: Overall, a positive experience. The food was good, except that we chose the truffle tasting menu. There were three courses plus dessert. The small portions didn't fill us up much, so we added a cheese plate. The service was good, and the atmosphere was quiet.
