03/04/2025: Great texture and chewiness for noodles, broth was light and flavourful as well as very helpful staff. We have this at home (in Australia) called - Lanzhou beef noodles. It is on the higher end (15 euro), but this by far exceeds expectation. Highly recommend.

13/02/2025: A stone's throw from Piazza Indipendenza, in the center of Florence, there is this Irish-style pub. There are seats in the outdoor area and also indoor tables. In summer it is very easy to find people there, especially foreign tourists, because it is close to various accommodations and hotels. Very nice pub, with many memories left by various customers from all over the world. The beers were good and they also serve sandwiches or snack dishes. Friendly and helpful staff, but they are few. Maybe you should hire a few more during high season. You pay both by credit card and in cash. Outside car park, but there are few places. Search the nearby streets, side streets or leave your car in the paid garages. It must be said that now you can reach the place by tram.

04/02/2025: Cozy pub perfect for enjoying a good beer and watching a football match!

24/02/2025: I was looking for a place in the center of Florence and I came across this Osteria which is located right in Piazza Indipendenza, therefore right in the centre. I really liked the place, extreme attention to style, large space both inside and outside (they have a garden which allows for fantastic dinners in the summer). The menu offers both traditional dishes, such as Fiorentina or classic cured meats, meat dishes, but also a fish proposal with great attention to variety and combinations. The dining room staff is attentive and very kind. We had two first courses and a second course which we liked very much. It was a pleasant discovery and we will definitely return to visit them.

20/02/2025: I gave one star because you can't give zero, pitiful restaurant and super not recommended, arrogant and grumpy staff, they practically sent us away from the place while we had our dinner in serenity and tranquility. not recommended even for schools there were dirty handkerchiefs on the table and poor hygiene don't go there

10/03/2025: I could start by saying spectacular but I’ll rather place as unforgettable. We went there on a Saturday night and the place was pristine, well organised, clean, and overall spotless. We sat immediately and our waiter explained us the two menu options, one is meat based the other fish based. The whole table went for fish as the menu descriptions already let us wanting more. Out waiter first explained we could mix and match items from both menus which is great. I was really interested in the risotto from the meat menu, then chef came over our table and told me he would see about my request as he didnt think that would work for sequence of the tasting. However he found a way to fit that risotto not only for me, but, to our surprise to the whole table. It's now 2 days since we ate there and honestly I wont forget that risotto! Eating at Ora d'Aria was a pleasure, it was a magic experience in the world of tastes and excellent service. And just when I thought I saw everything we got our dessert and honestly it was to die for! The simplicity of the dish and the taste of heaven are memories I'll carry with me forever or until I manage to eat next at Ora d'Aria. This place was utterly calm and tranquil, the music was such a vibe for a restaurant and the toilets were incredibly spacious and clean. The place is right at the centre of town and yet manage to preserve a cosy and warm environment. If you are looking for honest tasteful flavours just book your spot here.

25/02/2025: Wow!! Coming from London where we are blessed with many restaraunts and having quite high food standards, we were very impressed with the food and the service. We were able to select our own tasting menu (does not need the whole table to have the same food) which is great so we could try everything they had to offer. Note that they only do red/white bottles by the bottle, but they were able to suggest a wine that would be suitable for both meat and fish dishes. It is a very small and intimate restaraunt with only about 8 tables, and the kitchen is right there and you can see how they operate through the glass window. The kitchen was very professional and also very quiet throughout the meal. Chef Marco Stabile was overseeing everything, and presented us with our wine. He also helped served other food items for other tables, and overall it seemed like he was very passionate about his restaraunt.

06/04/2025: From Porta Romana, going along the avenue that leads to Piazzale Michelangelo, you come across this wonderful place where, I must say, I had the opportunity to eat in perfect symbiosis with the nature of the green hills surrounding Florence. We stopped with some dear friends, taking advantage of the beautiful spring day, for an outdoor aperitif/Sunday lunch. We were welcomed quickly, and our table on the terrace, with a wonderful view of the greenery, gave us, unexpectedly, that rare feeling of being at home with friends, in a private and intimate dimension, more than in a restaurant. The place is truly peaceful and symbiotic with the surrounding natural landscape, and the service, offered by courteous and friendly staff, was fast and above all available to our every request. After the aperitif I had the octopus appetizer on a bed of potatoes, which in addition to being beautiful to look at, was really delicious and well made; I concluded with a tasty tiramisu, made not with the classic ladyfingers but with crunchy biscuits, and a good coffee. From my point of view, I conclude by saying that I had a really great time because it is a place where you can experience quiet convivial moments, and also because it offers excellent products with a good quality/price ratio if you obviously consider the wonderful context in which it hosts you. I recommend it!!!

11/03/2025: Sunday lunch with the family, as far as my experience is concerned, all the guests found ourselves with savory first courses, I recommend trying the pasta water. There was too much garlic and too much salt on my plate.

The soup and the chicken with cacio e pepe were very good, the vegetables with gorgonzola were very good and also the vin santo ice cream. The only flaw... the high chair was missing. 05/01/2025: Con alcuni amici che già lo conoscevano ho cenato in questo locale un po' decentrato. L'impressione dall'esterno è quella del classico ristorante di periferia, di quartiere, con insegna luminosa un po' triste e ingresso un po' squallidino, che ti fa credere di trovare, al di là della porta, un ambiente dozzinale. Quale sorpresa nell'entrare invece in un locale piccolo ma elegante, sapientemente illuminato e arredato con un gusto che si rispecchia anche nel sottofondo musicale sempre gradevole e mai invadente. Ci accoglie, con una cortesia di altri tempi, il sobrio titolare, che si muove nel locale con passo felpato e interagisce con gradevole cordialità asburgica. Tovaglie di tessuto spesse e pulite accompagnano un pasto delizioso. Il ristorante offre una scelta ristretta di piatti (preventivamente riscontrabile - ho scoperto in seguito - nel fedele menu pubblicato online), ma piuttosto originale e comunque varia, di ottima qualità. Assolutamente eccellenti i dolci di produzione propria, che sarebbero di per sé un buon motivo per ritornare. Prezzi assolutamente onesti. Decisamente consigliato.
