20/11/2025: The atmosphere was lovely and the service was very friendly. The dessert was out of this world, in fact, it was called Saturn! The entree was very nice and delicious; we had a burger and a salad of the month. The prices, in my opinion, were a bit high. But we had a good time.

14/11/2025: We were there for my best friend's birthday. We had a great time, the staff were super helpful. They even made tiramisu for the cake. We tried both the ricotta and fiordilatte crusts. The ricotta one was exceptional, while the fiordilatte one wasn't as strong. What a shame :( The tiramisu was exceptional, and we'd love to go back for the burgers. Overall, a very pleasant evening. We'll definitely be back.

12/11/2025: I came in the evening for a pizza. The four-cheese pizza, priced at €10, came to €14.30 at the till. I asked why, and there was a €2 cover charge (I was alone, but I'd been told that cover charges apply in Italy). And to top it all off, €2.30 for tap water. Yes, you read that right, I was charged €2.30 for tap water. The restaurant is definitely overrated thanks to word of mouth, but not that I'm crazy about it.

15/09/2025: The food was exquisite! Both the pici with guanciale and the parpadelle with wild boar were spectacular. For dessert I recommend trying the homemade chocolate cake. As for the service, we were served by a man with a very good sense of humor and we had a very enjoyable meal!

14/09/2025: The best food we had in Greve in Chianti, we ordered the Pici and ragu which were so good we came back later that week. The staff is very friendly and joyfull which adds to the overall atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend eating here. Thank you for having us.

04/11/2025: It was exactly what we were looking for. We decided to choose Testina for our anniversary dinner. The restaurant was beautiful and intimate, and we were completely pampered by the woman who always spoke to us with a smile and answered all our questions. Let's not even talk about the food, because the chef in the kitchen created a true marvel (see the photos), not only aesthetically pleasing but also out of this world. We often made sure to mop up the bread. He also left the kitchen with a smile and welcomed us as if we were at home. Don't worry about the portions, because after a seven-course menu, we left feeling full and completely satisfied. The white wine produced in the Etna area was out of this world, nothing to complain about, perfectly balanced with the dishes and our taste buds. Thank you, we'll definitely be back. (Since we have limited tables, I recommend booking.)

24/10/2025: Testina is a true culinary and sensory experience, exactly what I was looking for. Ivan, the chef and owner, is an artist. When I go out to dine, I want to be surprised; I want to live and enjoy a new experience. That is exactly what Testina offers. A two-Michelin-star-like experience. I came here with my girlfriend, and she was so impressed. Ivan customized the experience on our dietary intolerance and needs, which I appreciated a lot. Totally worth the price. Could not recommend this place enough. Good luck to the whole Testina team and keep rocking it!

09/11/2025: One of the best pizzas in Florence. Calling it "by the slice" is truly an understatement. They're little gems of flavor, made with seasonal, local, and top-quality ingredients!

10/10/2025: Stopped by for a late lunch. Had the pizza mahgarita which was delicious. Sat outside and enjoyed the afternoon light and the people passing by. Service was a bit relaxed which seems typical in Italy, but we weren’t in a hurry anyway! Lovely pause between window shopping and visiting museums.

05/11/2025: A great location, almost a must-visit for lunch. The wait staff is very friendly and welcoming, especially Simone. We ordered a menu with a first course, second course, side dish, water, wine, and coffee—it was truly amazing! Quality ingredients and a SUPERB Florentine steak.

16/11/2025: The palace was visually lovely with wonderful artwork and artefacts. Unfortunately the staff were rather rude and condescending! I was unable to visit the gardens, but judging from prior reviews my €10 would’ve been wasted either way.

20/11/2025: I saw a blog post about someone ordering a 500-gram T-bone steak while traveling solo, so I asked the restaurant and they said they only accept 800-gram portions. The price was 800g (€40), water (€1.50), mixed salad (€5), and table charge (€2). I definitely got full from trying to eat all the meat by myself, but it was still delicious. ^_^ For those traveling solo who find it a hassle to find a companion, this is a good tip.

20/11/2025: It has a terrace, you have the option of eating outside. We ate a shared salad for starters and beef tenderloin with cheese and arugula and breaded brains and artichokes for mains. It was spectacular. It cost us around 100 euros and we had a great time. Two lovely girls and they tried hard to translate things for us. We will repeat

13/11/2025: Not just a shop, but also a bar and restaurant. It offers simple food and a great view of the Arno River and the Uffizi Gallery. It's best to book a table on the veranda in advance.

10/11/2025: I've been to Trattoria Sabatino three times and have loved it every time. Even though you have to wait in line (I recommend arriving before opening), it's absolutely worth it: the quality and quantity of the food are excellent. It's true home cooking, like grandma used to make; typical Tuscan dishes, authentic and full of flavor. The prices are incredible, especially for Florence. You share tables with other people, which makes the experience even more pleasant and convivial. The staff is friendly and relaxed, despite the large influx of customers. A true gem in Florence!

09/11/2025: What can I say... One of the last remaining trattorias of the past, simple but well-cooked dishes. The menu changes daily based on the season, such as the excellent pumpkin ravioli, plus a few set dishes like the truly delicious pork loin. You don't have to book and you have to wait in line, but that's fine; it's all part of the experience. The prices are truly reasonable for the quality offered. Never change Sabatino!
