30/08/2025: After being bored with pizza and pasta for so long, this was the perfect last meal on my last day in Florence. I'd love to try other dishes, but I'm sad to have to leave.

10/08/2025: A really nice wine tasting experience. The host will take his time explain the origin and story behind each wine which is a nice touch. You will get to sample three different wine from the local region. Our party went with a white flight and a red flight.

07/08/2025: Delicious wines and excellent cuisine. They advised us on local wines and they were perfect. Exceptional service. It's a shame we couldn't go back another day.

11/09/2025: We found this bar by chance and were pleasantly surprised. Even though it was late in the morning, we still found a well-stocked display case, and the ladies working there were incredibly nice and cheerful. The food was very good, and the portions were generous. Furthermore, there's no charge for table service until 12:30.

10/09/2025: The staff were very friendly and the prices were reasonable. As someone who doesn't know much about coffee, I was able to enjoy the taste of coffee. The best cappuccino in my life!

01/09/2025: This is a genuine hidden treasure in Florence. Located a distance from the main city, it's a place you'll need to drive to reach, but the effort is rewarded with a gorgeous meal set against a stunning view of the rolling Tuscan hills. We thoroughly enjoyed our Tuscan meal, with several dishes standing out: - Crostone di pane toscano con burrata al tartufo e battuta di manzo - Penne strascicate all'Omero - Pici all' aglione con ricotta salata - Bistecca alla Fiorentina - Verdure fritte The service was also top-notch, with our server being particularly helpful and providing excellent recommendations for their Super Tuscan wines. The only minor caveat is the pace of service, which can slow to a near standstill during a large lunch crowd. My advice: grab a bottle of wine, relax, and savor the holiday!

27/08/2025: The restaurant is located on the hills of Florence with a beautiful view, the place has various rooms including an outdoor terrace... the main room has all windows so that all guests can enjoy this belvedere... We ate divinely all local products the cuisine of the Florentine territory... They even made a gluten-free dish for my cousin, the hospitality is the master and the excellent service... Thank you 🙏 we will be back

06/07/2025: A small restaurant with a special family charm. Family-run, the mother and daughter serve you, and the father cooks. The food couldn't be more home-cooked and of excellent quality. Everything we ordered was 5-star quality and at a super-affordable price compared to other downtown restaurants. It's totally worth it.

10/06/2025: If you want to have lunch at Calandrino you have to go. I recommend it, it has abundant and tasty dishes.

17/08/2025: Visited by relatives for a mid-August lunch with a fixed seafood menu. The food was good and varied, although no one course was particularly memorable. The service was courteous and professional. Returning to the tables to re-order leftover dishes always leaves a lasting impression. A few minor omissions and a tip: although it arrived promptly upon request, lemon should always be on the table with fish, as should tongs and forks for enjoying the shellfish. Wet wipes would also have been appreciated (but I admit I didn't ask the staff for either tongs or wipes...). Unfortunately, as a teetotaler and lover of bitter hops, I have to give this restaurant my very own star for not stocking every commercially available non-alcoholic beer. I don't insist on quantity or variety (but if you offer it, maybe a driver will try it...), but stocking six bottles of 0% beer (€7 at Coop...) of any commercial brand doesn't, I don't think, ruin a restaurant if they're not consumed by the expiration date. Having finished my usual rant on non-alcoholic beer, in conclusion, a restaurant that left me with a good memory, both culinary and convivial, and one to which I would and will return on occasion.

12/08/2025: This restaurant is a 5 star expirence from start to finish. First off, the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful with romantic lighting and posters all over the walls. The waiters are so professional and kind and the food - it will be the best meal you eat in florence. The steak is so tender with a perfectly seared exterior. The sides of cannelloni beans and mashed potatoes are just divine. This is good food done right! I highly recommend dining here if looking for an upscale experience in Florence for the best steak in the city!

11/08/2025: I arrived just before closing time, and they made my meal very comfortable. The basic pasta was delicious, with a hint of spice, and the tomatoes on the appetizer bread were very fresh. It was a delicious meal.

04/08/2025: Spectacular The staff was very friendly The atmosphere was relaxed and calm. We went at night for lunch, but there was more hustle and bustle. The food was delicious, a 10/10.

17/07/2025: Well, what can I say... try it and believe it. The schiacciata is truly delicious, as are all the different flavors made with genuine products. It's worth the wait due to the long line. But it's well organized, and the staff is very kind and professional.

14/07/2025: I stopped here at 10.30pm, they were asking, they served me calmly and without problems... schiacciata with mushrooms and ham, very good, and beer 😊😊😊

28/08/2025: We had a fantastic evening at Il Granaio. We were incredibly lucky (without a reservation - I recommend to book a table) to get the last available table — which ended up giving us the best night of our entire trip to Italy. The food was excellent and of very high quality. What truly made the evening special were the amazing and friendly waiters. They fulfilled all our wishes and gave us outstanding wine recommendations. The "Ferrari of red wines" (as Salvatore called it) was one of the best wines I’ve ever tasted. The waiters created a wonderful atmosphere with singing along to the Italian music — it added so much joy to the experience. After dinner, we even received some great tips and recommendations for Florence. Huge thanks to Salvatore, Claudio, and Claid (sorry if I misspelled your names) for an unforgettable evening! Unfortunately, we only discovered this place on our last night in Florence — otherwise, we would’ve come back several times. We’re already looking forward to dining here again on our next visit to Florence.
