Delicious ricotta and orange ravioli in duck ragu and crostini appetisers in a wonderful atmospheric restaurant. The only weakness was the desserts which weren’t great — the tiramisu was mostly cream and the semifreddo cake was too boozy. But the mains were lovely and it’s a great restaurant away from the tourist hub.

Despite having made a reservation, we were greeted warmly. The decor is reminiscent of the rural or vintage tradition of times gone by, with soft lighting, warm colors, and furniture reminiscent of the past.
The food was good, including the ingredients; the artichoke risotto was excellent, and the charcuterie and cheese platter was also outstanding.
The ravioli with tomato sauce were good, but the pappardelle with hare ragù was a bit less so.
The sliced meat was a bit poor, and the price didn't match the quality.
The restaurant was adequately clean.
I'm increasingly convinced that
modern catering requires constant commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

The most remarkable thing about this place is its ambiance: pleasant, tranquil, with soft lighting and a carefully curated collection of Italian antiques. You can feel the attention to detail, which elevates the experience from the moment you walk in.
In my opinion, it's a rather gourmet experience. The prices are slightly above the average for the area, in line with the quality of the food. The portions are quite modest, so it's not a place for large plates.

Our little corner in Florence. Time stood still. There was no rush, and we were simply in the moment. This restaurant is a treasure. You come for the quality, not the quantity. You truly create memories here that will stay with you forever. I 100% recommend the Gnudi burro e Salvia and the Tortellini con Ripeno. Don't forget the tiramisu!

This place is a hidden gem. Croquettes were absolutely incredible, and the pasta and steak are all great. It’s so cozy and cute inside as well, super great place for a chill dinner. Highly recommend!!

A short stroll from our beautiful accommodation Canto degli Aranci in the historic district of Firenze, my husband chanced on this charming restaurant who squeezed us in without a booking. Spoilt for choice, we savoured the mushroom soup, zucchini croquettes, peppercorn pasta, eggplant parmigiana and slow cooked beans. All delicious but the simplicity of the peppercorn pasta a standout. Unable to resist the temptation of dessert we shared warm apple puff pastry, ;the pastry was sooo thin and delicate) and traditional Florentine semifreddo cake. Thinking our meal was over we joyfully lingered at the outdoor setting over the offer of a limoncello ‘to help our digestion’ in the fresh winter air. Beautiful food, decor and service!
