The best restaurant in Firenze! We visited it two times in a row because the experience was truly special. The food was delicious, high-quality and definitely captures the real Italian spirit. The staff were incredibly attentive, polite, friendly and professional. We ordered a wide variety of authentic Italian dishes which were all excellent. The atmosphere is lively and not too loud so you can still have a normal conversation. We recommend it to everyone!

The calamari was the best I have ever had! I also had these puffy bread gnocchi and it was practically melt in the mouth! I would 100% go again!!

I had the pleasure of dining at Accademia di Firenze, and the experience was truly excellent in every respect. The quality of the food is undeniably high: the meat is outstanding, prepared with great care and expertise, while when the catch of the day is available, you can enjoy exceptionally fresh and well-crafted fish dishes. The staff deserve special mention for their kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism. The owner, in particular, is extremely friendly and accommodating, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. The wine selection is also impressive, carefully curated and of excellent quality. I had the opportunity to purchase several bottles that I truly appreciated. A restaurant I would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, an authentic atmosphere, and impeccable service. I will definitely be coming back.

We went three times in a week including Easter Lunch and two Cooking Workshops. Pietro was fantastic with our adolescents and four year old and we all left knowing how to make pizza, focaccia, cantuccini (biscotti), gnocchi, fresh pesto and a tiramisù. Book a private cooking course for 4:30pm and stay on to eat your meal at dinner time as the restaurant fills up. Truly wonderful experience.

So this is an update! Every time I eat here it is mind blowing !!Everyone we bring here loves everything they try. You must eat here! Absolutely love this place. I have eaten here multiple times and will continue to go here as often as I can. The people and the food are amazing.

Excellent food and excellent service despite being extremely busy. A very pleasant stop.

We got off the tram at San Marco and had 45 minutes to eat before our guided tour. This restaurant was right in front of the station and we just walked in. There were 3 tables with people however in the next 20 minutes the whole place was buzzing. The high Google reviews are appropriate. We ordered the daily special Vegetable soup and it was delicious. We also got a Margarita Pizza and Risotto. Both were amazing. Recommend this restaurant if you are in the Florence and around the dome area.

My husband and I first visited Ristorante Accademia while traveling with a tour group in 2024. 2 years later we returned with our children. We knew that returning to try their Steak Florentine was a must and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Everything about this dinner experience was absolutely amazing. The wine that was selected for us from our wonderful server down to the broccoli we got as a side dish. I can not say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. If you are in Florence, I recommend 1000%!
