The pizza and craft red beer I ordered were good. A good place for a quick dinner.

One of the finest pizzeria in Firenze. We really liked the tenderness and taste of both pizzas. One was margarita and the other one was the combination of four house pizza. The staff were also very helpful to narrow down our options to select the authentic Florentine pizza. They were friendly and kind and we really appreciate their help and hospitality. The indoor seating area was in the basement and it was cozy and comfortable.

Eating a pizza at Spera is never a trivial experience. To say that at Spera you can eat one of the best pizzas in Florence is not a trivial matter. Although the apparent lack of comfort, the inability to make a reservation or order a takeout pizza by phone (they almost never answer) or online makes Spera pizzeria almost uncomfortable and uninviting, after years of experiencing this contradiction as a loyal customer, I've realized that behind all this lies a calm message, unostentatious and indeed invisible to most of its customers, a message that rediscovers the human dimension in its essence. The choice to want to be more than to appear. In this whole way of being, the invisible presence of the pizzeria's founder is perfectly perceptible. The entire staff, Elena first and foremost, are never trivial.

Special pizza. "Flavors of the South" is fantastic. The vegetarian option is also a must-try. It's always a pleasure to eat here!
