What an incredible hidden gem! This place was exactly the authentic escape we were hoping for, tucked far away from the chaotic tourist crowds and delivering genuine local flavors without a single tourist-trap gimmick. We snagged an amazing two-person deal (12€) that offered unbelievable value: generous, hearty portions paired with exquisite, true-to-Italy taste. The pasta was divine, the lasagna rich and perfectly layered, and the wine and desserts were the cherry on top. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the staff, warm, wonderfully patient, and genuinely attentive from start to finish. If you're craving a cozy, authentic Italian atmosphere with food that feels like a warm hug, I cannot recommend this place enough. Run, don't walk!"

Stumbled upon this gem while in Florence for a few weeks. My wife and I ended up eating lunch here 4 times! They have a fixed price lunch menu with delicious options that include a first course, second course, water, and 1/4 liter of wine for €12! I knew that we had found good food when I looked around and saw mostly locals on their lunch break. We will definitely be back, prossimo anno!

Love this restaurant! We spend a lot of time in Florence, so I'm always looking for restaurants with good Tuscan food at fair prices, and Centopoveri has both. Last year, we ordered off the dinner menu and greatly enjoyed it. This year, we were walking by at lunch time and saw they had a 12e fixed price menu that included a primo, secondo, water, and wine, so we got in line with the 20 or so locals waiting for them to open (always a great sign). We were very happy with our lunch and have returned at least 3 (maybe 4) times since. I just wish we had gone back earlier in our trip. Don't miss out on this restaurant.

The lunch menu, at €12, is the cheapest we could find and it's fantastic. Local food, plentiful portions, and excellent service.

Me and my family were here for dinner. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, spaghetti with seafood sauce and the florentine steak. The flavours were spot-on, not to mention the generous portions and great value. Our favourite was the spaghetti - fresh and chewy pasta cooked in the suave packed with seafood umami was to die for. We left with full and happy stomaches and would def recommend and revisit:D
