Really good food. We had the florantine steak, lobster gnocchi, and house salad. I got there when they opened so I didn’t have to wait but I did see a line when I walked out. The meat is on the rare side but they bring it on a cast iron plate that continues to cook the steak a little. The service was good.

No frills home cooked delicious meal. Go for the €12 lunch special. Don’t be intimidated by the line to get in at 12pm. Lots of seating and they move quickly. Filled with locals on lunch break and tourists alike. Don’t skip dessert. Went twice in 2023 and back again in 2026. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this place – exceptional quality at very affordable prices, with very pleasant and approachable staff, especially our friend Romeo, but Juliette was missing 😂

It was so nice we had to come back again on our trip. The food quality was excellent as was the service. I highly recommend the beef and chianti pasta, the spicy pasta and the burrata pasta. Also the tiramisu and berry cheesecake are delicious.

Here's how it went, 🍽️ What I tried • First course: pappardelle with tomato sauce, asparagus risotto, penne with tomato sauce, served in generous portions. • Second course: roast beef with potatoes, pork slices and peas, lampredotto, • Water and Wine: The classic "quartino" of house red wine that perfectly complements the meal. • Bread and cover charge: Included (not a given in the city center!). Off-menu, we ordered a dessert to share. 💎 Why go there 1. Value for money: Right in the city center, just steps from the monuments, spending €12 for a full, hot meal is unbeatable. 2. Speed ​​and courtesy: "Affordable" service, quick and honest. No time is wasted here, ideal for those working or those who want to get back to exploring the city right away. 3.
