I ordered a small portion of pappa al pomodoro and a small portion of gratinéed gnocchi. My meal was exquisite, so much so that I continued eating long after I was full, just to savor every bite. I now understand why overindulgence is a sin, but I would definitely do it again.
The wait for a table was long, but it was worth it.

We needed to wait a bit before we got a table, we didn’t book anything and we came on a Sunday evening, so it’s totally understandable it’s busy, but the wait was so worth it! We had two starters, loved the Bruschetta! Afte, my wife had the Gnocchi, and I had the Spaghetti Aglio Olio, amazing! And the team was so nice! Really a place I would love to revisit!

Unreal truffle gnocchi + lasagne - our two fave dishes from our trip to Florence 🤯
Deffo recommend booking ahead. We didn’t have a reservation and queued for about an hour from 7pm before it opens, worth it though!
Really reasonable prices too, especially considering the gnocci is their most iconic dish❤️

Highly recommended. It's not very big, so it's best to make a reservation.
The waiters were very friendly. We took their recommendations and had a wonderful dinner.
The gnocchi with cheese and gratin were delicious.

Our fav outside lunch spot in Florence! Come early to join the queue to get a shady spot. My favourites are the bruschetta al pomodoro made with baby tomatoes and the gnocchi with Gorgonzola. One of the few places that I have visited here where salads are featured. Also rare to find are the “reduced portion” on several of the pastas and salads. The food, setting and service are all fantastic.

An unmissable experience in Florence! The gnocchi au gratin with cheese and truffles is, without a doubt, one of the best I've ever had—creamy, flavorful, and served in a ceramic dish that keeps everything warm. I loved the option of ordering a 'half portion,' which allowed me to try other dishes without overindulging. The atmosphere in the square is vibrant, and the service was very attentive. I highly recommend making a reservation, as it's always full!
