22/04/2025: It wasn't just the most delicious sushi I've ever had, it was the most delicious food I've ever eaten. I was especially impressed by the interior. Everything is very authentic, and the owner is very welcoming. I recommend it 1000% P.S. I personally recommend trying the plum wine, it's delicious here

16/04/2025: A memorable lunch with an essential menu. All tasty and particular, but also fresh and enveloping with desserts. Service directly from the chef in a room all to ourselves. Miso ramen: simply perfect. Tonkotsu ramen: white fluid scent, reminiscent of a refined broth of innards. Gyoza: Extremely tasty mix of meat, almost too potent for some of us. The red bean-based desserts are interesting and beautiful. Excellent green tea. Account proportionate to quality. A space stripped of frills with authentic touches. Welcoming staff.

29/05/2025: We had the best meal of our entire 12 day trip at Il Vezzo. It's a hidden gem that our Tuscany tour driver recommended to us and I am so glad he did. It's a quaint restaurant but the food was absolutely perfect. They started us out with a small dish from the chef - beef tartare with the most delicious verde sauce. The three of us shared a pappardelle bolognese which was so delicate and full of flavor. My husband enjoyed a duck dish, I had the best chicken terrine and fresh snap peas which tasted straight from the garden, and our daughter had the shrimp pasta dish which was so light and flavorful. Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere more authentic and want to avoid the tourist traps. We will remember this meal for a long time.

29/05/2025: Il Vezzo era manos abajo la mejor comida que tuvimos en Italia. Es un lugar pequeño, íntimo y auténtico que se siente alejado de los restaurantes turísticos típicos. Nuestro conductor lo recomendó, y me alegro de que lo hiciera: cada plato era fresco, considerado y absolutamente delicioso. Los ingredientes eran de una calidad increíblemente alta (muchos directamente de su jardín) , y el menú era creativo sin ser demasiado complicado. Se sentía como una verdadera joya local. Podría haber comido aquí todas las noches y todavía quería más. Si estás visitando Italia y quieres algo inolvidable, este es el lugar.

18/05/2025: The experience was fantastic. I went to lunch with a friend on vacation to Florence. The food was spectacular, and the service was also very good and attentive. Finally, on the terrace, you can enjoy a beautiful view of a Renaissance square.

18/05/2025: Lunch on the terrace, with a great atmosphere and beautiful views. My friend Francesco and I enjoyed a good wine and some pastries while the rain saturates the scene. A fucking fantastic moment 👌. We actually drank quite a bit of wine, but the experience would have been just as good. For dessert, tiramisu and mille foglie. Bravo!

14/05/2025: Very good fried food with fresh products and friendly and courteous staff. Together with my father, we took a short walk from San Giovanni di Dio to get there. We will definitely be back soon!

21/04/2025: segnalazione bib gourmet michelin abbastanza meritata. Il locale con taglio turistico, molto “denso” di ospiti con tavoli ravvicinati. Il locale è comunque accogliente con legni e tanti oggetti a parete nelle sale del locale.L’asticella per ristoranti selezionati michelin è sempre abbastanza alta e l’esperienza dei piatti pur essendo soddisfacente non ha lasciato il segno. In una citta estremamente turistica con tanta offerta ristorativa molto sbrigativa e soesso non attenta, lo riteniamo certamente un porto sicuro.

15/05/2025: great views and the people are super nice. Make sure to book your Taxi back otherwise you have to walk to the highway. You can also take a bus from and back to Florance 365 A, very convenient.

13/05/2025: Winery located in Greve in Chianti, in the heart of the production area of ​​the famous "Gallo Nero"; you can, better if you book, eat in the characteristic restaurant tasting wines of their production, the dishes are excellent and typically Tuscan and the service is attentive with competent and very kind staff. Only by booking on their website you can take a guided tour of the castle (private) and the beautiful cellars with lunch included, or, if at another time, with the tasting of excellent wines. Highly recommended!

02/06/2025: Great pizza and very good service. We had a great dinner here for a fair price. Try the Tiramisu. It’s awesome. Our waiter was Alessio and he’s such a nice guy and gave very good recommendations.

11/05/2025: My favourite restaurant in Florence. We are here on our first night returning to Florence and everything about the place is 10/10. The food is so amazingly good. Authentic Tuscan cuisine and wine witj lots of options to choose from. I had burrata and tomato to start which was so rich and creamy in texture and very well seasoned. Then I had the wold boar tagliatelle and it was fantastic. Both desserts of Nonna's Tart and Tirimasu were also delicious. The star of the show however wasn't the food but the service. The best we've ever had in any restaurant which is why we booked Osteria Cancello dei Macci for our last night in Florence also. Absolutely magnificent.

17/05/2025: Cool atmosphere, incredibly good and attentive service (although the start at reception wasn't 100% perfect but it doesn't matter). The food was a dream - creative and delicious. I've never eaten pork belly so well. People enjoy coming here!

17/05/2025: Florence unveiled a true gem, a culinary highlight that easily ranks among our best meals in the city. Tucked away from the bustling tourist crowds, the gentle stroll to its doorstep was a welcome respite. Stepping inside felt like entering a warm Italian home, greeted by genuine smiles and attentive service – a perfect prelude to the delights that followed. The open kitchen was a captivating window into the chef's artistry, allowing us to appreciate the passion and precision behind each creation. The now-legendary wild boar lard butter, paired with their exquisite bread selection, was indeed a beautiful overture. But the truffle pasta? That was simply mind-blowing. The tender pork fillet that followed defied expectations, surprisingly delicate and flavorful. And a bottle of robust red wine served as the perfect accompaniment to this Florentine feast. This is a place I'll wholeheartedly recommend and undoubtedly return to on future visits. A true taste of authentic Florence, away from the tourist trail.

07/06/2025: Premetto che quando vado in centro è una tappa fissa il "Perché no" perché il gelato è buono, da adesso in poi non lo sarà più. Mi sono recata un giorno nell'ora di pranzo a prendere una brioche con il gelato. Mi serve una signora anziana scortese e arrogante ( non che gli altri a servire siano meglio) che non sa come si sta al pubblico e come di trattano le persone. Mi prepara la brioche e mette poco più di due palline di gelato, una pallina di menta e una di lavanda ovviamente schiacciandole così sembrava di più; io stupita dalla ridicola quantità di gelato che aveva appoggiato sulla brioche le faccio presente che era troppo poco e con fare molto maleducato e irrispettoso mi dice che posso andare via e non prenderlo. Sono stata contenta che mi abbia detto così anche perché sarei andata via io lasciandogliela in mano, per fortuna mi ha anticipato. Premetto che il prezzo era 7.00 € NON POCO. SCONSIGLIATISSIMO a fiorentini e turisti.

06/06/2025: As an Asian traveler in Europe, I was always missing Asian cuisine. Luckily, I stumbled upon this Chinese-Japanese restaurant near my hotel. To my surprise, the food was incredibly delicious, capturing the essence of Asian flavors with near-perfect authenticity—easily a 9/10. The prices were very reasonable, making it a fantastic find. Highly recommended!

03/06/2025: We just enjoyed the most wonderful evening here! One of us is gluten free. We have been in Italy for 5 days and all the staff at Ristorante Hostaria Il Desco were the warmest, friendliest and most attentive we’ve experienced. The food was delicious! My husband who is not gluten free enjoyed the GF pasta with me as our primi and said he would not have known it wasn’t traditional pasta. The grilled steak, per our server’s suggestion, was fabulous! And the suggested house wine pairings were also delicious. I don’t write reviews normally but I was so touched by the hospitality here and to be so well treated as a gluten free diner is just so unique. All praise ! Grazie Mille!

10/06/2025: Everything we had was delicious and it was a fantastic dinner. My husband, who had been looking forward to trying this bistecca during our trip to Italy, seemed very satisfied. The two of us finished the entire 1.3kg bistecca. The staff were all friendly and provided efficient service. We also called several times but were unable to get through so we went without making a reservation, but they fill up quickly after opening, so if you don't have a reservation, it's essential to arrive before opening. If we ever get the chance to return to Florence, we'll definitely want to visit again!
