08/10/2025: Authentic ice cream like the old days! A historic shop in Florence.

08/10/2025: This place was recommended by our local tour guide, and it did not disappoint! They have a great selection of gelato with plenty of cone and cup sizes to choose from. Service was quick, and the ice cream was beyond delicious!

12/08/2025: In a homey, informal atmosphere, and driven by good word of mouth, we decided to try this very interesting little place. The cuisine is authentic, and the flavors make you imagine being in Asia. We tried several things and were satisfied with the taste. The only downsides were the rather small portions, even though we had chosen larger options (obviously, an additional cost). The side dishes and off-menu items were also very limited. The meat/broth selection was limited. The desserts were substantial, but nothing special. Overall, it's a place we'll return to, even to try the sushi or other off-menu items. Recommended

21/10/2025: I celebrated my birthday at Cucina Torcicoda and it was a wonderful experience! A welcoming and refined atmosphere, delicious food (the desserts were truly amazing!), and impeccable service. Our waiter was kind, positive, and very attentive. A special evening I will fondly remember.

14/06/2025: An authentic Florentine experience: not to be missed! We went to Osteria dell’Oca and we left enthusiastically! The appetizer started with a bang: off-menu zucchini flowers, fried to perfection with a light and crunchy batter, simply delicious. Next, the pici cacio e pepe: creamy, tasty, perfectly cooked. For the second course we couldn’t help but try the tagliata: very tender, cooked to perfection, with a strong but balanced flavor. The real star, however, was the prisoner’s dish — lampredotto, boiled tripe and tongue — a truly mystical experience for the palate. Authentic and intense flavors, a dive into the most genuine Florentine tradition. All accompanied by two excellent glasses of Chianti that enhanced each course. A special applause goes to the manager: a true host from another era, welcoming, warm, who makes you feel at home from the first moment. Really exceptional quality/price ratio. A place where you eat well, feel good and come back willingly.

06/09/2025: The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and approachable. They bring the Florentine steaks to your table so you can choose the best one. The food is good, and you pay for what you get.

31/08/2025: A very tasty and plentiful lunch. Flavorful pappa al pomodoro and equally satisfying stewed tripe. Generous portions. The atmosphere was half trattoria, half restaurant. I found this a bit of a contrast to the food. Everything was very good.

13/10/2025: I ordered a pizza margarita and got I don’t know what that was. It was a pizza but there was literally water on it. It tasted disgusting. That was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The woman behind the counter was watching something on her phone and she turned her phone way to loud.

13/10/2025: Unfortunately, the Margherita pizza was swimming in tomato sauce and tasted completely stale. The ravioli still had cooking water on the plate, and there was nothing on the side except Parmesan cheese. It was the worst meal we've had in Italy so far, and in our opinion, we wouldn't recommend it.

17/10/2025: Terrific restaurant, friendly staff and delicious food. The menu is handwritten and the interior very rustic. Food was extremely tasty but limited options for vegetarians but the ravioli was delicious. They specialise in tripe but plenty of other options.

13/10/2025: The best food in Florence 😍😍 I loved the pastas and the unmistakable flavor of the ciabatta! I'll be back again and I give it a 10/10 for everyone's service, especially Alecio, who kindly welcomed us like tourists. Our recommended order: Tortelli di patate al ragú and Ravioli burro e sage. We ordered both and loved them!

05/10/2025: Our first Argentinean dinner. We had meat empanadas (excellent, well-spiced, and homemade), grilled offal, and two grilled cuts of meat accompanied by baked potatoes and grilled vegetables. The quality of the meat was excellent, flavorful, and well-cooked, as were the flavorful vegetables. The meat prices were fair for Florence and the portion, but the vegetables at €8 were really high for the amount served. The wine list was well-stocked, with a selection of reasonably priced Argentine wines. I recommend the Saurus we ordered (so called because it was grown on the same vineyard where they found the remains of the world's largest dinosaur, now on display in New York!). The bathroom was spacious and clean. The owners were friendly, approachable, and full of personality. Service was a bit slow, but not a problem when you're in the company of a good glass of wine.

06/09/2025: One of our best experiences in Florence!! The steak with truffle sauce was divine!! Definitely a must try, everything here tastes amazing you cant go wrong !! Even the servers were very kind and informative!

05/09/2025: As a celiac, I can confidently say this place blew my mind. The gluten free pasta was incredible, as well as all the rest of the food we got! I highly recommend the tiramisu for dessert.
