Wow! Wow! Wow! From the top places in Napoli, all 5 boroughs in New York, Frank Pepe in New Haven and even Pepe in Grani , we've done it all. This restaurant has incredible classic pizza. We are so happy we stumbled upon this place in a non-touristy side street in Florence. Make a point to visit. You'll thank me later. The owner and his sister are as friendly as can be. 6 stars if possible.
UPDATE: March 2026. We still think about this place and can't wait to get back to Florence to visit again.
Pizza was decent and the prices are fair, besides “Coperto”. However, the waiter with glasses seemed more interested in flirting with American girls and trying to get their numbers than serving customers in a timely manner. Overall, the behavior came across as unprofessional, quite impolite, and even contemptuous. I’d recommend it to American girls, as they seem to get the most attention.

We ordered two 30cm pizzas: truffle and ham with mushrooms. It was absolutely perfect. The 30cm pizza was more than enough to feed a starving person.
