Incredible service and delicious food! We arrived at our hotel after 8hrs on a train, exhausted and starving and this restaurant was the perfect oasis. Ragu and duck were delicious, vino della casa was delicious and the cheesecake was one of the best I’ve had in my life. Highly recommend.

Tiny restaurant with a single owner and chef. Easily the most authentic restaurant I have been to in Firenzie! Had the tagliatelle with squid ink and clams. Flavorful, filling, and reasonably priced! Owner does not speak much english, but is very accommodating and friendly! Will definitely come back! ☺️

We came for lunch today and received a very warm welcome. Everything was delicious, homemade, and perfectly prepared, and the owner was very friendly. I highly recommend it for a truly authentic lunch or dinner – it's excellent!

A down-to-earth trattoria, nothing fancy. The owner is very friendly, the food is extremely tasty (ragout), and the prices are moderate. Good wine. A casual place to go.

Very well executed food in an unassuming spot. The host was very gracious and kind. We do not speak much Italian but he was very understanding! The venison tagliatelle and bistecca were excellent. The best service we have had in Florence!

A lovely little restaurant with a personalized welcome. Everything is homemade and excellent. A small homemade digestif was offered at the end of the meal, thank you!

A quiet little restaurant well away from the touristy centre. The owner/chef is attentive and kind, despite the language barrier. The menu is not limited to the "standard" set of Florentine dishes served elsewhere, here you can sample duck served with pear and Chianti sauce, or a rich venison Ragu.

22/05/2026: A perfect local spot for people looking to escape the city for an amazing dinner. A short and scenic cab ride, each dish was better than the next. The owners are delightful and it was the best meal we have had in Italy. An amazing find and value, highly recommend!!
19/05/2026: Finally, a place where the kitchen offers innovative dishes. In a tastefully decorated room, blending modern and classic down to the smallest details, with a jazz background that allows for conversation even in whispers, the chef presents me with a plate of homemade ravioli filled with pears and cheese in a fava bean sauce—simply sublime! Perfectly cooked, with fresh and balanced flavors presented with great class, even visually. But every course, from the appetizers to the fillet steak, to the homemade desserts, is presented with simple perfection. Every detail, flavor, and visual effect does not disappoint, and everything is as it should be... simply... good. I thank the very kind chef for thrilling me with his culinary art. My wife, my son and I... one of the best experiences in recent years... top-notch schiacciate... phenomenal tartare... very fast service... friendly... and top quality/price ratio... Summer is approaching... I think I've found the ideal place for my evenings... see you soon!
