Great ambience and very nice service. We had the 6th course menu with wine accompaniment, small portions with matching wines. It was a dream. Clear recommendation if you are in Florence.

Amazing place! The atmosphere, the food, the wine were so unique! Very polite service as well! The ravioli with pistachio pesto is strongly recommended! If you visit Florence make sure that you go to this place!

This review was from spring of 2022 but Google didn’t like one of the photos for some reason and pulled the review But this meal is memorable 2 years later….Incredible meal and experience from start to finish. Perfectly prepared and beautiful plated food despite my terrible photos. I had the Burrata and Pistachio Pesto Ravioli, Black Angus Steak which was juicy and tender. On top of that I snuck a few bites of my wife’s pear and cheese ravioli and vegetable crumble. Every bite was incredible, some delicious wine and a glass of limoncello to finish the night. I practiced a little Italian as well and the staff was incredible kind and patient. 10 out of 10 if you are in Florence go to this place.

Locale centralissimo vicino al duomo. Serve piatti della tradizione Toscana rivisitati. Carta dei vini ampia in quanto è un'enoteca. Personale gentile e disponibile, lo consiglio. Ho mangiato un filetto veramente tenerissimo e cotto come piace a me, non al sangue e non è facile!

05/04/2024: One of the few Florentine trattorias that has remained so. The fresh pasta first courses are of excellent quality and the ragù simply spectacular. The meat is sublime and with a fair quality/price ratio. Fiorentina cooked perfectly on the grill and finding the grill in Florence is not as obvious as you might think. Nothing typical and super friendly staff. I recommend it, it's a 10.
03/04/2024: Very pleasant place, good variety of foods The waiters are always the same I have been coming here for more than 20 years and always have excellent service. A balanced place between tourists and residents

04/04/2024: The true Florentine culinary culture and the authentic flavors of the past are well preserved in this truly unique restaurant. Far away from the tourist traps that have very little to say about Florence which now seems faded among a thousand identical signs. I recommend letting yourself be guided by the friendly and kind staff who for years have made this place a point of reference for those who love Tuscany, meat and good wine.
23/03/2024: Historic restaurant, abundant dishes, excellent value for money, worth trying.
