08/04/2026: Passing by for work, I saw a "pizzeria." It was a great decision to stop. Excellent, truly excellent, the pizza, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was friendly and young. To finish, a homemade tiramisu was also excellent. Definitely recommend this place.

08/04/2026: I returned to this restaurant after some time, and I must say it remains a firm favourite. The atmosphere is refined, the welcome is warm but never intrusive, and the cuisine focuses on substance. The dish that struck me most was the homemade wild boar pici: simply spectacular. The pasta was fresh, just the right amount of texture, and held the sauce perfectly. The wild boar ragù was rich, flavorful, and well-balanced—the kind that feels like it was made slowly and with respect for the ingredients. You can clearly sense the great attention to the quality of the ingredients and tradition, without unnecessary frills. The portions are just right and the flavors are authentic, something that is increasingly rare these days. I'd been there before, including for an important occasion, and returning today confirmed those excellent impressions. A place where you can truly eat well, without compromise. Recommended for those seeking authentic cuisine, done properly.

08/05/2026: The food was rather ordinary, nothing extraordinary, and the portions were very small. The low rating is mainly due to the presentation (I understand that the restaurant's theme is casual, unpretentious cooking, but this looked like a pasta dish that had been left in the fridge and reheated) and also to the price, which I found far too high.

09/05/2026: We tried the pizza, and I must say that both my daughter and I found it excellent. The care taken in selecting the ingredients and in preparing the dough was evident, as indicated, it was leavened for 48 hours and at 75%. The result is a Neapolitan-style pizza, and having tried the sausage and broccoli rabe, I can say it didn't make me miss the Neapolitan one we had at home. The other was the Acero Rosso, with a pronounced flavor of finocchiona: remarkable. A special mention for the dessert we sampled, a chocolate and hazelnut brick, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and dried berries: an experience not to be missed. We'll definitely be back!

02/05/2026: A nightmare! We're sorry because the outdoor area is wonderful for kids. But you walk in and in two hours they can't bring out the pizzas... you try to order anything and everything turns up completely different. And it wasn't an isolated incident; the same thing happened a week later. A shame for a top-rated location... left in the hands of such unwary people! What a shame.

03/05/2026: I was visiting and came specifically for the kothu roti. I checked the hours online beforehand, but when I arrived, it was closed—really disappointing and inconvenient.

18/04/2026: We were craving Sri Lankan food in Florence and found an absolute hidden gem called Kottu Firenze. We ordered traditional kottu, fresh hoppers, and delicious pork and chicken curries, which were beautifully paired with traditional Tuscan wine. We've honestly never had this caliber of authentic Sri Lankan food outside of the country! The phenomenal flavors and the warm ambience made it genuinely feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended for an unforgettable meal!
