10/08/2024: The Restaurant where we took shelter after being caught in the rain for about an hour in Florence. The gentleman who called us at the door spoke good English and was polite. Pizzas were of average taste. Aperol was pretty bad. Prices were average compared to Florence prices Unfortunately, there is a coperto fee. We didn't have much of a choice due to the rain, but if we had, we wouldn't have chosen this place.

23/08/2024: Sinceramente riponevo molte aspettative in questo posto ed era da un pò che ci volevo andare invece a malincuore l'esperienza di stasera è stata assolutamente deludente Il ragù di nana non sapeva di niente il peposo (e sono fiorentina) decisamente troppo salato i contorni 6 Euro per 2 fette di melanzane... Spesa complessiva per un piatto a testa dolce e vino... 37 euro!! mi dispiace perchè il personale è delizioso ma il resto non ci siamo

29/08/2024: Difficult to know how to feel because the pizza is truly excellent. But the rest is just money gouging. Typically Tuscan tourist tax for those who are staying at the hotel. 14 euros for a moretti 22 euros for a glass of house red Family of 3, two courses, way over £200 It’s because the hotel runs the whole place and they filter you here if you don’t fancy their overly posh on site restaurant. It is daylight robbery - but the pizza chef has talent as the pizzas are amazing. The rest? They’ve seen you coming as soon as you checked into the expensive hotel.

25/08/2024: Locale di classe con servizio top. Menu da esplorare Ottimi i primi e il tagliere di qualità. Hanno anche un menu dedicato ai bambini , non da poco. La serata è stata molto piacevole grazie al servizio attento e dedicato e all atmosfera intima con musica live. Nota dolente , quando ho chiesto un calice di rosso ho solo chiesto un vino fermo poi ho lasciato che il sommelier facesse un po’ da cicerone. Ho accettato una sua scelta che poi ho scoperto aver pagato ben 22 euro solo a fine cena. Credo avrebbe dovuto avvisarmi del costo NON standard del vino in modo tale io potessi scegliere altro o continuare con quello. Comunque prezzo del vino a parte, i restanti prezzi nella media di un locale del genere. Castelfalfi da vedere soprattutto al tramonto , magica

11/08/2024: Ordered pork stewed vermicelli, spicy chicken, and fish-flavored eggplant. The taste is very good, the pork is very tender. The spicy chicken is different from what I imagined in the UK, but I think it’s surprisingly delicious! The chicken pieces are relatively large and fried very crispy.

14/04/2024: Arrivati senza prenotazione. Location piccola, con vari richiami della tradizione (forse troppi). Antip toscano e pici sulla chianina buoni, zuppette di mare nella norma, forse un po scarse di quantita. Attenzione alle bevande (7 Euro mezzo litro di bianco della casa)...

25/03/2024: Locale accogliente in posto tranquillo e con parcheggio; personale attento e gentile, ottima la materia prima, dai salumi ai formaggi, alla pasta fatta da loro (a mio gusto tordelli da primato), ottima la carne ma anche il baccalà preso da mia moglie era veramente ben cucinato, direi che la cucina casalinga vince sempre. Dall'antipasto al dolce, bevande incluse prezzo giusto. Consigliato alla grande!

03/08/2024: Terrible experience! Roadside restaurant with traffic passing you by. Very slow and disorganized service! They didn't let us order pizzas because the pizzeria was already overloaded. We had to call the waitress back after 40 minutes to ask to order them. Terrible starter with packaged and old sauces. High prices for the quality offered. The only positive note: the staff is kind and does everything to make up for the lack of cuisine

03/09/2024: Yesterday 22.2.22 we entered the Mcdonald's in southern Florence and ordered calmly without anyone asking us this G.P. After 5 minutes the manager comes and asks us to which I ask him why he wasn't checked at the entrance. I am told that since he has multiple tasks he cannot always be present. But the saddest thing is when I see him cleaning the tables with an unsuitable dirty cloth and without disinfectant. Since I am aware of the hygiene rules, I ask him why he doesn't use clean paper and disinfectant for the tables. he replies that the cloth is a special cloth. They want to enforce rules but they in turn clean without disinfecting. WON'T go back again

25/08/2024: Cozy place. But disastrous service from one of the cameras, super unfriendly. He even tried to charge us for dishes that we had not consumed. I wouldn't recommend it

25/08/2024: It's hard to comment, the restaurant is really beautiful but the drinks are not, I think at least add some flower petals to decorate... As we were afraid of a bee outside, a gentleman was kind enough to move us indoors, he was wearing white clothes and others There is something different about wearing a black jacket, he is very gentleman and gentle, unlike the gentleman who orders food, he is very impatient, we need time to understand the menu and he seems very anxious... When I got home I found that there was an overpayment in my bill I ordered a cup of "espresso" for 2.5 euros. I don't know who was careless. As for the price, the lunch seat fee per person is 4 euros, aperol spritz is 13 euros, pink cappuccino is 6 euros and green risotto is 32 euros, and breaded chicken liver and fried sweet potatoes are 29 euros. The taste is okay.

01/08/2024: 15 minutes from the campsite (hu Firenze), arrived here via the cycle path along the river. The friendly English-speaking service helped us perfectly. Food was delicious and good value for money. The bistecca fiorentina was recommended and tasted very good. See pictures

29/07/2024: Buon antipasto della casa ed arrosto misto con ottime patate al forno. Il proprietario ed il cameriere gentilissimi. Vista la calura estiva siamo stati sistemati all’interno del locale. Da tornarci.
