Loved this place, was worried by the menu at first that we had fallen into another Instagram overhyped restaurant but once we selected our food and tried it. It was soooo good and so filling! Didn't grab a picture of the blueberry cinnamon roll as it was gone too fast but it was in fact the best cinnamon roll I've had. Highly recommended!

A coffee shop run by an Aussie means there is a focus on GOOD coffee, sadly something I had troubles finding in Italy. Amazing service and Chloe is accomodating and will stop for a chat. If your an Aussie it’s refreshing to hear a friendly, cheery voice a and great coffee; for a visitor you haven’t had good coffee until you’ve had one here.. it’s what you will compare your Italian coffee experience to. Do not pass this cafe.. stop and have and amazing experiance.

Coming from a city with incredible coffee (Melbourne, Australia) we’ve finally found this gem tucked away in Florence/Firenze. Melaleuca serves incredible coffee and food that will keep you coming back for more. It’s a peaceful oasis where you’ll be warmly welcomed by Chloe and her staff. Thank you Melaleuca for keeping me caffeinated in style.

What a wonderful cafe. It was like being back home in Australia. Delicious sour dough bread! Ordered avocado toast, so so good. Great coffee and chai latte (missed them so much) A must go when in Florence

22/07/2026: I highly recommend it! The waitresses are very welcoming! The portions are very generous but delicious 😋 It's a wonderful way to start the day 😁😆

They have a variety of dishes, and my partner, who is British, was delighted with the selection, as it included all the ingredients of an English breakfast. I found the prices a bit high, but since the portions are quite filling, it's more like a full meal. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere pleasant.
